Story
3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Priscilla is a young, friendly dilute calico cat born December 2022. With those she knows she tolerates being carried, jumps into your lap, and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. She likes tummy stroking, window watching, and playing with toys with you or by herself. Priscilla door greets, ankle rubs, gives kitty kisses, rubs faces, kneads you, and touches your nose. She is shy around strangers, tolerates respectful dogs, and is fine with kind kids, and most cats. She uses her litterbox well and a scratching post. She arrived at the Rescue with an advanced viral eye infection in one eye. After treatment the right eye has partial vision. An inexpensive med (lysine powder $17 for a 6 month supply) is put on her food once a day. If she becomes stressed, her eye gets weepy. The vet says as she matures and her immune system strengthens, it is possible it will cease to act up under stress. None of this stops her from being a affectionate, friendly young cat that would make a wonderful companion. A sibling is available. Adoption fee is $200. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Ivy, a tabby calico mix older kitten, was found in a park and unclaimed. She purrs on contact with her trusted person, likes petting, and brushing. Ivy likes to sleep with you, watch wildlife at the window, plus play with toys and with her water dish. She hides from active dogs and is okay with other cats. She is very friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers, affectionate, easy going and quiet until meal time. Ivy greets you, follows you, and allows you to place her in your lap. She has fine litter box habits and uses a scratching post. Foster kitten pals are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Pumpkin Chai, F, 6 years old. Fixed and declawed. Up to date on shots! She's a calico/tabby/munchkin mix. Pumpkin LOVES to cuddle. She's always purring and has a LOUD purr. She loves getting as much attention as possible. She doesn't get along well with other cats. She's been through a lot of transitions the last year and needs to be in a stable, calm home. She's okay with kiddos as long as they respect her space! She loves belly rubs and head scratches. She loves sleeping with her companion.

My foster mama says I am spunky and adorable. I also have the softest coat and my foster family loves to cuddle me. I am inquisitive and brave once I am comfortable in my surroundings but I can act a bit shy in new situations. I am constantly making my foster mama laugh with my zoomies and antics with toys. Once Ive tired myself out playing alone or with my sister I absolutely love to be held and cuddled.  Please note that this is a strictly indoor cat. Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
The lovely Reveille is affectionately known as The Grouch.  Her expression always says that she's miffed at the world, but we do watch her play.  Mostly, Reveille likes to nap.  She's a cave-dweller cat, not a tree-dweller (although she really, really likes the box for recycling on the end of the kitchen counter).  Yes, Reveille likes boxes.  Any empty box set on the ground is hers.  And wicker.  So we got her her very own wicker "basket" (although it isn't exactly a basket).  Reveille is likely middle-aged, although she won't tell us for sure.  She's been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  Reveille had a dental done as well.  She's negative for FIV and feline leukemia.  She does have multiple lumps under her skin, but they are completely benign, nothing needs to be done.  We haven't noticed them growing (although Reveille's belly has been growing here thanks to her love of food).  Reveille is available for adoption for $50.  She is NOT declawed.   By the way, Reveille can be a bit grouchy so doesn't always want to be touched, at least not for long.  And she isn't a cuddly girl.  But she is a fabulous companion, just being there, making a house a home.   Reveille lives peacefully with other cats and a large dog.   Our rescue survives on donations.  All kittens are available for $60 each and all adults for $50 each.   Please note that we are located in New Prague, MN. Over 1700 adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2024, 2:57 pm

Story
The lovely Javan is coming up on 8 years old this May.  We know that because she originally arrived in our care at about 10 days old.  Javan was adopted as a 2-month-old kitten (after she was spayed).  My understanding is that Javan was a beloved family member, but then human children came along.  And Javan didn't care for their chaotic movements, etc.  Javan would love to have a home of her own without young children (or at least her own space with all her necessities as a retreat away from any toddlers).  She also requests to be an only cat.  That is her preference.  Javan is vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She's negative for FIV and feline leukemia.  Javan is not a huge fan of the vet, by the way, but she loves affection and makes an enjoyable companion.  Javan is available for adoption for $50.   Please note that Javan lives in New Prague, MN.   1700+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2024, 2:57 pm

Story
Padua is a fabulous feline, perhaps 5 to 6 years old, who is spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and negative for FIV/FeLV.  Padua tolerates other felines fine but isn't cuddly with them and would be perfectly happy as an only feline.  She also has initial distrust of dogs but can come to tolerate their presence.  But would be perfectly happy without a dog.  Padua would rather not live with toddlers.  Or would tolerate them if she had her own safe space away from them.  And wasn't expected to go past them to get to the necessities.  Padua is available for adoption for $50.   This beauty enjoys affection and is one to greet her humans at the door.   Please note that Padua is located in New Prague, MN.   Over 1700+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2024, 2:57 pm
