Story
My eve was given to me by a friend who couldn’t keep cats because he was allergic and I took her in and she has changed my life. She is so sweet and loves cuddling. She is almost like a shadow cause she just follows behind you wherever you go. She is truly the sweetest cat I’ve ever had and I’m so sad to let her go and I just hope someone will love and care for her because she is just a baby.

Story
3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Priscilla is a young, friendly dilute calico cat born December 2022. With those she knows she tolerates being carried, jumps into your lap, and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. She likes tummy stroking, window watching, and playing with toys with you or by herself. Priscilla door greets, ankle rubs, gives kitty kisses, rubs faces, kneads you, and touches your nose. She is shy around strangers, tolerates respectful dogs, and is fine with kind kids, and most cats. She uses her litterbox well and a scratching post. She arrived at the Rescue with an advanced viral eye infection in one eye. After treatment the right eye has partial vision. An inexpensive med (lysine powder $17 for a 6 month supply) is put on her food once a day. If she becomes stressed, her eye gets weepy. The vet says as she matures and her immune system strengthens, it is possible it will cease to act up under stress. None of this stops her from being a affectionate, friendly young cat that would make a wonderful companion. A sibling is available. Adoption fee is $200. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Ivy, a tabby calico mix older kitten, was found in a park and unclaimed. She purrs on contact with her trusted person, likes petting, and brushing. Ivy likes to sleep with you, watch wildlife at the window, plus play with toys and with her water dish. She hides from active dogs and is okay with other cats. She is very friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers, affectionate, easy going and quiet until meal time. Ivy greets you, follows you, and allows you to place her in your lap. She has fine litter box habits and uses a scratching post. Foster kitten pals are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Not good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Petunia's approximate birthdate is June 04, 2015. She is spayed, vaccinated, and she has tested negative for FIV/FELV. She also has a registered microchip. Petunia came in to rescue as part of relocation of outdoor cats when they were no longer welcome on the property. Some of these cats were social cats that had previously lived in a home. Most were scared and just needed time to come around. Petunia was one of those cats. She is still scared with sudden movements but will seek attention when she feels safe. She would do best in a home with a predictable routine and another friendly cat to help build her confidence and show her the way. She will make a great companion for the right person who wants to give a cat a chance at living a safe and loved life. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Petunia, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.net Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a 501(c)3 registered no-kill, non profit animal rescue. All animals are placed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them. Because there is not a physical shelter location, foster homes are needed to help rescue local animals who are in danger of euthanasia. If you would be interested in fostering an animal in need, please complete a foster application at savingtails.netApril 11, 2024, 7:22 pm

Story
Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. To meet Rin, please visit our webpage to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats

Story
We need to re-home our 12 year old, short hairy Tabby, Maxi. Maxi is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Weights about 13/14 pounds. Declawed. He had to have all of his teeth removed a year ago because of a dental disease, but he can still eat wet or dry food no problem. He is other wise healthy and active. Super friendly and loves to cuddle. Unfortunately we have to find him a new home because our youngest son is allergic and has asthma. Ideally he would do better in a home with older kids or no kids. He has always been the only pet in our home, so not sure how he would do with other pets. We’d imagine he’d need an extended adjustment period.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi! I'm Arrietty, a playful, social, and friendly young lady.  My FAVORITE thing ever is to PLAY! I love to chase glitter pom poms, ear plugs, erasers, bugs, and anything small all over the house.  If I found a family who could play with me and cuddle me a LOT, I could go to a home without another cat. But I like cats and really appreciate having feline friends to groom, cuddle, and chase.  I've even won over the old man cats in my foster home.   I'm named for Arrietty, the main character of the Borrower books who was always in search of a safe home, because when I was a street cat, I kept trying to sneak into houses.  Now that I've gotten indoors, I like to stay indoors! I do like to have a perch where I can look out a window, though.  It's too bad I can't speak people language, because I know everything that's happening in the neighborhood.  I like strangers and would make a great shop cat.  I have not met a dog yet, but am not easily spooked and probably would get used to a respectful dog quickly.   One of my favorite hobbies is hiding in my foster mom's room while she gets ready for bed, so I can sneak snuggle her.  My cardinal rule is that nobody naps alone.  Another hobby is hiding my favorite toys in blankets and furniture.  Every night we have Zoomie Hour.  (Sometimes its more like....Zoomie Four Hours). One other thing I like is food.  I am learning table manners but sometimes need to be reminded to leave my family's dinner alone. They have hidden the garbage cans so I can't help myself to midnight snacks anymore.  Treats have helped me learn that toenail trims and brushing can be fun. I'm still learning to keep my claws retracted when playing with the humans, but I'm getting better at it! When I came into rescue, I had a belly full of surprise babies!  I loved playing with my two kittens, but they got adopted and now I'm ready to find my very own forever home.  Being pregnant in a new house wasn't fun, and I showed my unhappiness a few times by peeing outside my litterbox. Things have gotten better since then and I am very consistent about the litterbox now. If you have a window, some treats, and time to play with me - please put in an application! I'd love to make your home mine. *indoor cat only* Please fill out a Feline application here: https://underdogrescuemn.com/adoption-applications/feline-adoption-application/ ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up.
