Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. Jasper is a male cat who is 7.5 years old. He has been my cat since he was a kitten, but I am no longer able to keep him due to relocating and I cannot bring him with me. Jasper loves to sleep, playing with toys (his ball is his favorite). If he's hungry or wants out of a room, he will meow to let you know. He is litterbox trained and enjoys both wet and dry cat food. When he wants to cuddle, he will drop on the floor in front of you for attention. He'll let you know when he no longer wants to cuddle or be left alone by scratching or bitting. This is a habit I have not been able to break him of. He is very scared of loud noises and will sometimes attack when he gets too scared. Jasper also loves to be outdoors, and I am heartbroken to have to rehome him. I know he will go to a great home with a loving family or even to a farm to be a barn cat. He would probably love that.

Otis was acquired by my mom when he was very little along with his brother from another litter. The little tiny boy my mom brought home ended up being a very large big boned guy. He’s spent his whole life with my mom and his brother. My mom has passed away nearly a month ago now and his brother ran away once we started cleaning out her house. Otis has started to come out of his shell for me. He’s still a bit anxious but overall getting better and better. He’s used to having feline friends and he doesn’t have that, he’s used to having his mom and she’s not here either. Otis is a huge snuggle bug, he loves to be where you are and once he decides you are his person he’s all in. He could use a diet. He can be silly, loves his little mice and his scratch pads. Otis would do well in a more quiet home, he currently lives in the country with chickens on the property and does just fine. I could see him also being fine with a dog. Otis just wants love and to love.
