Calico kittens & cats in Minnetrista, Minnesota

Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Meet Wren 🐾 Wren’s story began in a warehouse, where this tiny little girl was found all alone at just 3 weeks old. There was no mama cat, no siblings, and no one to care for her. She was covered in fleas and already fighting so hard to survive. Thankfully, Wren found her way into rescue, where her amazing foster family stepped in and bottle-fed her, cared for her, and gave her all the love she needed to grow. Against the odds, this little fighter thrived. ❤️ Now, at 3 months old, Wren is a beautiful calico/tortie with a BIG personality to match her adorable face. She is opinionated, sassy, playful, and incredibly cuddly. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it! Once she's ready for snuggles, though, she's happy to curl up with her people and soak up all the affection. Wren is also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and gentle children. She has come such a long way from the tiny, flea-covered kitten fighting to survive in that warehouse. Now she's healthy, happy, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for the part of her story we've been waiting for — finding her forever family. 🏡💕 If you're looking for a playful little companion with plenty of sass and an enormous heart, Wren may be your girl! Toni and Gumdrop are two affectionate kittens looking for their forever home! These two are the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed! Toni is a 6 month old, energetic grey kitten that likes to be around her human friends. Gumdrop is an 11 month old calico with lots of love to give! Toni’s day consists of playing, sleeping, and rough housing with Gumdrop. They are very close and make a perfect pair! Gumdrop’s hind legs are limited with running and jumping and she deals with daily sneezing. But this won’t stop her from climbing stairs and getting around just fine — she is healthy in all other respects! When it’s time for a rest, these two will happily settle down for a nap to recharge.Toni and Gumdrop currently live in a foster home with two adults. Their ideal home would be one with plenty of space to run around, with windows and doors to peer out of. Gumdrop can be shy, but with patience and love she will open up to you. Then she will like to be held and petted! Because of this, patient owners who will respect her space are ideal. Because she is reserved, a dog would likely be too intimidating for her. Gumdrop and Toni would thrive in a home with older children and would gladly soak up the extra attention! If you’re looking to add double the affection in your home, look no further than Toni and Gumdrop!— — —There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Fontana is still getting use to shelter life. She will need someone who is willing to go slow and respect her space as she can take time to come out of her shell and be comfortable with people. Adoption could take some time as we want to ensure that she is fully comfortable with whoever is lucky enough to take her home. She was feral and is coming around but will still take a lot of work. She may start out not wanting to cuddle but could open up to it. We will have very high expectations regarding who she goes home with. Fontana is spayed. She tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV/HW, is microchipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is not declawed. About Me The Force is strong with this one. Ahsoka is a 1½-year-old girl who is intelligent, athletic, fearless—and definitely not interested in blindly following anyone else’s rules. Ahsoka is curious about absolutely everything, especially the things you’ve decided are none of her business. Try to keep her out of a room and you’ve essentially issued her a challenge. She’ll investigate, strategize, and maneuver until she finds her way in. Curiosity may have gotten the cat, but Ahsoka considers it more of a personal mission. She also takes her training seriously. Ahsoka is incredibly agile and quite accomplished on the cat exercise wheel. Whether she’s working on her Jedi reflexes or just getting her cardio in, this girl has some skills. Ahsoka generally gets along with other cats, but she has a confident personality and can have a bit of an attitude. With another female, she’d likely want to play the dominant role. A laid-back male who’s content to let Ahsoka believe she’s running the galaxy would probably make her best feline companion. Smart, sneaky, curious and endlessly entertaining, Ahsoka isn’t looking for someone to command her. She’s looking for a family smart enough to join her side. ---------- WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means most of our animals are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.
