3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Priscilla is a young, friendly dilute calico cat born December 2022. With those she knows she tolerates being carried, jumps into your lap, and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. She likes tummy stroking, window watching, and playing with toys with you or by herself. Priscilla door greets, ankle rubs, gives kitty kisses, rubs faces, kneads you, and touches your nose. She is shy around strangers, tolerates respectful dogs, and is fine with kind kids, and most cats. She uses her litterbox well and a scratching post. She arrived at the Rescue with an advanced viral eye infection in one eye. After treatment the right eye has partial vision. An inexpensive med (lysine powder $17 for a 6 month supply) is put on her food once a day. If she becomes stressed, her eye gets weepy. The vet says as she matures and her immune system strengthens, it is possible it will cease to act up under stress. None of this stops her from being a affectionate, friendly young cat that would make a wonderful companion. A sibling is available. Adoption fee is $200. Ivy, a tabby calico mix older kitten, was found in a park and unclaimed. She purrs on contact with her trusted person, likes petting, and brushing. Ivy likes to sleep with you, watch wildlife at the window, plus play with toys and with her water dish. She hides from active dogs and is okay with other cats. She is very friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers, affectionate, easy going and quiet until meal time. Ivy greets you, follows you, and allows you to place her in your lap. Hi, Cupid is my name and I have been told that I live up to my name! I am almost three years old. I am a real love bug! If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, I am your guy. I LOVE to be with my people, snuggle, and play. I haven't met a person I don't like. I have a lot of kitten energy still, but can also sit and watch tv with you if that's what you are doing. My favorite thing is to sit on my foster mom's shoulder or lap and watch her work on the computer. I am really easygoing and warm up in no time to a new environment. I would love to be your one-and-only. My foster mom says I am the sweetest cat she has met! Do you have room in your heart for a lover like me? I do want to let you know that I am a special needs kitty. I have a chronic upper respiratory issue that may never go away. I will most likely require a shot of medicine every so often probably for the rest of my life as I had some pretty big trauma when I was younger that caused it. But if you can handle it, I will make it up to you ten fold! My illness is not something that can be spread to dogs, so if there is a fun/friendly dog in the home, I would love that. I like to play with a cat wand and like a big soft cat bed. He does require a daily medication mixed in some wet food.Cupid has had a complete wellness exam, is microchipped, neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is updated on vaccinations. Harry is 13 and likes attention, especially being scratched under his chin and behind his ears. He likes to sit on someone's lap and snuggles in for a petting and purring session. He does NOT like being petted on the top of his head. Harry enjoys being brushed. He's lived in a house with a three-season porch so he can see the outside world and approaches any and every door in the hopes of going outside. He is independent but likes to be around people. He would prefer to be the only pet but would be ok with a calm dog or another cat. He doesn't play very much but loves rubbing his face on the cat nip toys. Harry is diabetic and requires insulin injections with twice daily meals. He is very good when getting the injections. Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Reba is a bit of a shy girl and it takes a little time to get to know her, but once you do Reba is a very sweet and affectionate 1 year old with a cute little squeak of a voice. She is usually very eager to welcome you and say hello and circle around your feet for some pets. She will also make some biscuits on your lap and maybe park there for a bit. That is what Reba's personality is really like when she knows you, but you do have to have some time and patience to make her feel safe and secure and make friends with her. Once she lets you in she is very sweet and a devoted companion. She is very treat motivated and this is great way to get to know her. A chicken churu is her favorite. When she is enjoying her treat you can slowly start to pet her and become friends. There is a cute little video in her pictures of her being sweet and enjoying some pets. When she is calm and relaxed Reba loves to play a bit and has fun with a wand toy with a feather on the end. She likes other kitties as well, especially if a new friend is not too domineering with her. Reba is spayed, microchipped and is current with vaccinations.
