Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Faith! This mellow, gray tabby female older kitten tolerates being held upright for a short while. Faith is friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers and is affectionate on her terms. Faith was born to a stray mom cat in August 2024 and she received no medical care for an eye infection, which claimed one eye. She watches for you at the window, and purrs on contact. At this stage she prefers to sit next to you. Faith plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She hasn’t met kids, but if they are patient, calm and kind, she should be fine. She would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. Faith needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Charlotte! 8 years old. A sweet lady who purrs like a lawnmower and loves a cuddle. She loves to sleep in bed, sometimes by your feet or she’ll cozy up right by your head. She loves to lay on her back and show you her tummy. She always greets everyone at the door and says hello (hoping for some head scratches upon arrival). Charlotte is on the hunt for a family after a house fire destroyed her old home. They moved to an apartment but she was stressed living in such close quarters with other dogs and cats. Charlotte does very well as an only pet and would prefer to stay that way. She has declawed front paws. Charlotte used to free feed but has switched to an automatic feeder and is working on losing a little weight so she stays happy and healthy. (Currently in a foster home).

Story
This cute boy is in need of a new home. I’ve had Simba for about 2 weeks after adopting him from a previous family and he’s in need of someone who has more free space and possibly children. He’s a very sweet boy who loves to be pet and cuddled. I personally work long 12hr shifts and feel that I can’t give him the attention he requires. Rehoming immediately if possible.

Story
Sweet September is a 13 year old cat with a perfect senior blood panel (done June 2025) and a love for cuddles. He came to us in 2014 from the Humane Society and was living his best life in a one cat home. He tolerated adding an additional cat (who recently passed in 2025), but his stress has gone through the roof since adding two dogs and a toddler. I would say he would do best in a home where he’s the only fur baby. We love September, and that‘s what prompted us to find him a home where he can retire and live stress free.

Story
Precious wee Budgie is an extra special mite.  Not only was she spayed, this little girl was neutered, too.  Yes, Budgie was discovered to be a hermaphrodite.  She's extra special for other reasons, too, as are all of her family.  Budgie is a tried-and-true lap kitty.  All of them are.  They simply want to climb on a lap and stay there.  Ohhhhhh, they play, too, but these wees are very feline-friendly and people-focused.  Budgie has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She is positive for feline leukemia but negative for FIV.  Budgie is available for adoption for $60.   Please note that Budgie is located in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2025, 2:41 pm

Story
Precious wee Reggada is an amazing young lady.  She's the only survivor of a litter of kittens born to a stray.  Given her profound neurological problems, she found her way to us.  Reggada can move all her extremities, but she cannot stand up.  At all.  She manages to get her front paws squared and lifts her head momentarily, but it succumbs to gravity.  Reggada is cerebrally blind.  She has all the parts, but her brain didn't develop the visual pathways (given she couldn't make intentionally movements when vision normally develops).  Reggada loves to play, and she loves her human.  She can work her bowel and bladder but tolerates being toileted (to keep things much cleaner).  Reggada is prone to a prolapsing rectum when she pushes, but that reduces easily.  Reggada can't control her head well enough to eat on her own, so she gets hand fed.  And water works best by syringe.  Don't worry, she's good at letting you know that she's had enough.   Reggada has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She lives with other felines (getting annoyed by anyone who plays with her tail).  She's negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Reggada is available for adoption to the right home for $60.   Please note that Reggada currently lives in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2026, 2:36 pm

Story
Purcell showed up during the end of February snowstorm, crying to get into a home.  Purcell had extremely matted fur, matted all the way down to the skin.  After hours of work, the matted areas have been shaved.  Purcell is a friendly but opinionated fella.  He's been vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  Purcell is neutered and negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Purcell is available for $50.   At this point, we think Purcell would be best as an only cat (but that may change if he adapts to others).  We don't think he'd tolerate young kids pulling his tail or fur.     Please note that Purcell is located in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2026, 2:10 pm
