Meet Rosie Rosie is a sweet, quirky 8-year-old cat who has been a loved part of our family. With recent changes—moving homes and the addition of a young child—she’s become very stressed and no longer feels comfortable in our environment. She’s looking for a calm, quiet home where she can relax and feel safe again. Rosie is goofy and affectionate in her own way—she’ll bring you toys in the morning, loves treats and wet food, and enjoys laser pointers and feather toys. She’s more independent during the day but loves cuddles at night (often sleeping on your pillow!). She does well with other cats and is friendly with guests, but she needs a home without dogs or young children, as loud or high-energy environments make her fearful. We’re heartbroken, but want the best for her—a peaceful home where she can truly thrive.

mango was adopted from the Nebraska Humane Society about 2 1/2 years ago. He has been with me ever since mango is a kind, loving, ecstatic, precious boy. He loves to play in tunnels, fetch his cat toys loves waking up to his wet food. Every morning he loves to snuggle with him. You’ll never feel alone. I unfortunately have to surrender him to a new home because of my newborns allergies. All I ask is he goes to a very kind honest and loving home. - The items that will come with the adoption fee for mango are a barely used new electric cat box a mat with his cat food and water dish a blanket hand made for him, a cat tunnel, including a few toys, around 15 cans of wet cat food, and possibly the remaining dry food. ( adoption fee can be negotiated )

Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Stormy is an easy-going, confident, orange tabby male with white undersides and socks, who was born in March 2025. He gets along with the foster’s active dog and both male and female cats. Stormy is friendly with strangers. He face rubs, head butts, and ankle rubs. He is quiet, gives kitty kisses, and is kitten-active. Stormy is okay being picked up and carried. When you sit, he jumps into your lap or lets you place him there. Stormy stays for short periods of brushing or petting. Then he is off to play with cat toys or watch wildlife out the window. He follows you around the house wanting to sit near you. Stormy hasn’t met children, but if they are gentle and respectful he should do fine. He enjoys playing with interactive wand toys, also. He was found with an injured leg and was unclaimed. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Hi, I’m Petey! I am a sweet and spunky 2 year old Tabby. I love my brother Nate and I get along well with kids. I have been with the same family since I was adopted at 4 months old. I love to snuggle on your lap when you’re lounging around and jumping is my favorite way to play! My family would love to keep me but has sadly gotten too busy with their schedule to properly give me the love and attention I deserve. Precious wee Reggada is an amazing young lady.  She's the only survivor of a litter of kittens born to a stray.  Given her profound neurological problems, she found her way to us.  Reggada can move all her extremities, but she cannot stand up.  At all.  She manages to get her front paws squared and lifts her head momentarily, but it succumbs to gravity.  Reggada is cerebrally blind.  She has all the parts, but her brain didn't develop the visual pathways (given she couldn't make intentionally movements when vision normally develops).  Reggada loves to play, and she loves her human.  She can work her bowel and bladder but tolerates being toileted (to keep things much cleaner).  Reggada is prone to a prolapsing rectum when she pushes, but that reduces easily.  Reggada can't control her head well enough to eat on her own, so she gets hand fed.  And water works best by syringe.  Don't worry, she's good at letting you know that she's had enough.   Reggada has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She lives with other felines (getting annoyed by anyone who plays with her tail).  She's negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Reggada is available for adoption to the right home for $60.   Please note that Reggada currently lives in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 1:31 pm
