Story
Gary is a 12 year old orange tabby cat. We have had him since he was a kitten. Gary is a very very very affectionate cat. He prefers to be with humans 24/7. He is happiest when someone is petting him. As Gary's parents, we love him, but our living situation is changing and won't be able to take him with us. Gary mostly uses the litter box, but sometimes, when we leave him alone at home for a couple days, he scolds us by urinating on a pee pad we leave by the door, no where else, and only when we leave him at home alone. Gary has no special needs, just love, love and more love.

Story
Missy moo needs a stable home. She is 3 years old, she's independent, likes to eat, sleep but also likes playtime. Sadly I had to move from a home to an apartment and realized it's not good for her to be cooped. She loves to go outside and explore and needs the exercise. Once she trust you, she will show her funny personality. She sleeps on her back! She's not a lap cat but likes to be close to you, on the couch or lay at the foot of your bed at night to make sure that you're protected. She luvs under the neck and chest rubs. She's extremely clean, very healthy and has a beautiful coat of fur. She has never scratched furniture, never been ill and, always uses her litter box. She loves to go in and out of the house and will let you know when she wants out. She is curious and likes fresh air. She's a great companion and needs to have her forever, human. She is a great friend and companion 💕 side note: I'm not sure how she would be with dogs she's always been the only pet.

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Faith! This mellow, gray tabby female older kitten tolerates being held upright for a short while. Faith is friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers and is affectionate on her terms. Faith was born to a stray mom cat in August 2024 and she received no medical care for an eye infection, which claimed one eye. She watches for you at the window, and purrs on contact. At this stage she prefers to sit next to you. Faith plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She hasn’t met kids, but if they are patient, calm and kind, she should be fine. She would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. Faith needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Hi hi! This is Six, he is a little over 1 year old and we are trying to find him a new home. I got him when he was just 4 weeks old and have been raising him alone ever since. Because I am moving to be closer to family, as much as I would love to, I unfortunately will not be able to keep him in my care any longer. Which is why we are looking for a new family for him. Six is a very lively cat, he’s very communicative, friendly, and absolutely loves cuddles. He also is a very social cat and enjoys the company of other animals. He is a little shy and it takes him a while to warm up to people, but he is such a sweetheart once you get through to him.

Story
Precious wee Budgie is an extra special mite.  Not only was she spayed, this little girl was neutered, too.  Yes, Budgie was discovered to be a hermaphrodite.  She's extra special for other reasons, too, as are all of her family.  Budgie is a tried-and-true lap kitty.  All of them are.  They simply want to climb on a lap and stay there.  Ohhhhhh, they play, too, but these wees are very feline-friendly and people-focused.  Budgie has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She is positive for feline leukemia but negative for FIV.  Budgie is available for adoption for $60.   Please note that Budgie is located in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 1:31 pm

Story
Precious wee Reggada is an amazing young lady.  She's the only survivor of a litter of kittens born to a stray.  Given her profound neurological problems, she found her way to us.  Reggada can move all her extremities, but she cannot stand up.  At all.  She manages to get her front paws squared and lifts her head momentarily, but it succumbs to gravity.  Reggada is cerebrally blind.  She has all the parts, but her brain didn't develop the visual pathways (given she couldn't make intentionally movements when vision normally develops).  Reggada loves to play, and she loves her human.  She can work her bowel and bladder but tolerates being toileted (to keep things much cleaner).  Reggada is prone to a prolapsing rectum when she pushes, but that reduces easily.  Reggada can't control her head well enough to eat on her own, so she gets hand fed.  And water works best by syringe.  Don't worry, she's good at letting you know that she's had enough.   Reggada has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She lives with other felines (getting annoyed by anyone who plays with her tail).  She's negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Reggada is available for adoption to the right home for $60.   Please note that Reggada currently lives in New Prague, MN. 1800+ adoptions and counting. . . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 1:31 pm

Story
Purcell showed up during the end of February snowstorm, crying to get into a home.  Purcell had extremely matted fur, matted all the way down to the skin.  After hours of work, the matted areas have been shaved.  Purcell is a friendly but opinionated fella.  He's been vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  Purcell is neutered and negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Purcell is available for $50.   Purcell has adapted to living with peaceful cats, but he grows weary of any cat that gets in his face hissing and will whack them.  We don't think he'd tolerate young kids pulling his tail or fur.     Please note that Purcell is located in New Prague, MN. 1900+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 4, 2026, 10:30 pm
