Story
Beautiful kitty Busya is looking for a new loving home. She is 2 years old (will be 3 on March 27th) and is up to date on all vaccines and check ups. She’s healthy and spayed. She gets along well with small dogs, but not big ones. She gets stressed around kids, so preferably she needs a home without small children. She’s a bit shy, but once she gets used to a new place she picks her favorite human being and dedicates her time only to her favorite. She never scratches (unless you really bug her) and in general is a very good kitty.

My foster mama says I am spunky and adorable. I also have the softest coat and my foster family loves to cuddle me. I am inquisitive and brave once I am comfortable in my surroundings but I can act a bit shy in new situations. I am constantly making my foster mama laugh with my zoomies and antics with toys. Bourbon knows his name and loves it I guess. I didn't name him. He is very shy until he gets to know you. He will hide if it starts to get noisy or there are a lot of people around. I think he's autistic. Can they be? When it gets too cold for him, he will snuggle up to you. I wish I could keep him but my landlord found out and told me to get rid of them.

Story
3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Ivy, a tabby calico mix older kitten, was found in a park and unclaimed. She purrs on contact with her trusted person, likes petting, and brushing. Ivy likes to sleep with you, watch wildlife at the window, plus play with toys and with her water dish. She hides from active dogs and is okay with other cats. She is very friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers, affectionate, easy going and quiet until meal time. Ivy greets you, follows you, and allows you to place her in your lap. She has fine litter box habits and uses a scratching post. Foster kitten pals are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. To meet Rin, please visit our webpage to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats

Story
Caribou is a beautiful calico/tabby mix who was picked up off the side of a freeway with her two kittens. The finder took Caribou to MNSnap as a TNR cat but after seeing how good she was with her kittens and the potential she had to becoming a house cat/pet, the finder reached out to us to take her rather than return her to where she was found. She has been very shy and a bit nervous since she joined us but we know she has great potential if someone would just give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and safe. We know that she is not the type of cat that everyone is looking for as many want instant gratification cats but we whole-heartedly believe that her person is out there somewhere and without us posting her story, that person may never be found. If you have an open heart and a desire to make a difference in a cat's life, maybe Caribou is the one for you - it's worth a visit to at least meet her, right? Caribou's DOB is approx. 6/1/18. Her ear tip that you see in her profile pics is the result of her spay at MNSnap. Presently, we are recommending older children only as a match for Caribou as little ones would not know how to read her signs. Dogs are an unknown. And, as you can see in one of her pics, she does fabulously with other cats. If you'd like to meet Caribou, please visit our website to schedule a visitation. www.ggohinc.com.

Story
My living situation has changed and I can no longer keep a cat. I've had Charlie since he was a baby. He is 5 years old now. His elderly brother, Romeo, passed away in April 2024 (Romeo was 17 years old). Charlie was devastated. Charlie LOVES other cats (although he takes a while to warm up to a new cat friend). Charlie also loves dogs and he sometimes acts like a dog himself. He comes when you call his name, he is waiting at the door when you come home, and he loves attention. He is a wonderful cat and very well behaved. He has never bitten or scratched me (he does not have front claws). Charlie needs a home with other pets (cats or dogs) because he is so social and loves other animals.

Story
Oliver is a healthy 8-year-old Tabby with quite stunning markings. However, an unanticipated adoption of another kitty within months of adopting Oliver, coupled with several moves to different states, have showed his inability to adjust. He has developed an increasingly bullying manner toward my oldest kitty, Lizzie, who is twice his age. He tries to eat her food and she does not defend herself. Additionally, he poops outside of the litter box, though he HAS pooped in the box. I recently had surgery and a friend took my cats to her place while I am in rehab. As she is in a much smaller place, she has seen the degree to which Oliver harasses Lizzie. He and my other male cat, Milo, do tussle with each other. But Milo is his age and can more than defend himself. And he has continued to poop outside the box. At 16 years old, I do not want Lizzie's life to be so stressful. Consequently, I really need to re-home Oliver to a loving home and be someone's ONLY kitty.

I’m looking for a loving new home for my wonderful cat, Jonah! He's fully vaccinated, incredibly cuddly, playful, and comes with all his belongings. He’s a little over 2 years old and hasn’t been around any other pets since he was a kitten, so I really can’t say how he’d do around other animals. He definitely needs someone who is able to give lots of attention though! If you or anyone you know is looking for a furry companion, please reach out. Let's find him the perfect forever home!
