My eve was given to me by a friend who couldn’t keep cats because he was allergic and I took her in and she has changed my life. She is so sweet and loves cuddling. She is almost like a shadow cause she just follows behind you wherever you go. She is truly the sweetest cat I’ve ever had and I’m so sad to let her go and I just hope someone will love and care for her because she is just a baby.

Lilly is truly one of a kind. She is a very smart cat. She plays peek a boo, tag, and loves her purple mouse. She comes with all kinds of toys and Platy tubes. She goes on her schedule when wanting to be held. She will greet you at the door and give you kisses. She will if allowed lay on your chest for 5 mins to 1/2 hour. She loves the top of her head kissed and will tilt her head so you can. If I wasn't sick, I wouldn't give her up for anything. She would do better with an older adult because she's been solely with me.

3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Priscilla is a young, friendly dilute calico cat born December 2022. With those she knows she tolerates being carried, jumps into your lap, and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. She likes tummy stroking, window watching, and playing with toys with you or by herself. Priscilla door greets, ankle rubs, gives kitty kisses, rubs faces, kneads you, and touches your nose. She is shy around strangers, tolerates respectful dogs, and is fine with kind kids, and most cats. She uses her litterbox well and a scratching post. She arrived at the Rescue with an advanced viral eye infection in one eye. After treatment the right eye has partial vision. An inexpensive med (lysine powder $17 for a 6 month supply) is put on her food once a day. If she becomes stressed, her eye gets weepy. The vet says as she matures and her immune system strengthens, it is possible it will cease to act up under stress. None of this stops her from being a affectionate, friendly young cat that would make a wonderful companion. A sibling is available. Adoption fee is $200. Ivy, a tabby calico mix older kitten, was found in a park and unclaimed. She purrs on contact with her trusted person, likes petting, and brushing. Ivy likes to sleep with you, watch wildlife at the window, plus play with toys and with her water dish. She hides from active dogs and is okay with other cats. She is very friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers, affectionate, easy going and quiet until meal time. Ivy greets you, follows you, and allows you to place her in your lap. Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. Franny (short for Frances) is the sweetest girl! She loves tummy scratches and will snuggle up right next to you. She makes the funniest grunting sounds when she runs. She's so curious and loves play time! Franny is highly food-motivated, so she'll respond to training. She's learned to "come" with clicker training. She's pretty good at keeping her claws off the furniture and always uses the litter box. Franny's very friendly with humans, including strangers. She doesn't live with children, but has been good with visiting kids. She hasn't had many close encounters with dogs. Franny's only negative is that she doesn't get along with our our older cat, despite introduction training over the last year. Franny's first several months of life were as a stray, so she may just not get along with other cats, but perhaps the right match could make it work. Franny got a vet check-up last month: she's all healthy and up-to-date on vaccines.

Agnes is a shy little girl with great big eyes and a rambunctious side. She is recovering from trauma and needs some time to build trust with humans, but she was a natural affinity for other cats. Agnes is the sweetest addition to a family with cats and no children. Likes: playtime, laser pens (!!), snuggling with other cats, playing chase with cats, tall cat trees, following you around the house, lounging near you, low stress environments, exploring outdoors (and coming home). Dislikes: being pet (at first), snuggling with humans, small children. Agnes is not a lap cat, but she will be your existing cat’s new best friend and she will win your heart.

This is Moody! He is just a pure ball of sunshine and personality. He was born on a farm and was the only orange kitty in his litter! He was born sometime in early July of 2023! He currently shares a home with a 4 year old kitty. He absolutely loves to play and takes his play time seriously, he likes to spend his free time trying to get his sister to play with him but she often times opts out. He also is a mastermind at always finding where the treats are hidden. He is such a curious and fun little silly guy and he would absolutely love being in an environment that is able to give him more attentive care and playtime :)
