Story
Hazel is 3 years old. My fiancé and I adopted her from a friend one year ago after one of our cats passed away. They adopted her to us because they got a dog that went after her a lot. Shes very loving, she’s the kind of cat that will want to cuddle with you or lay on your chest anytime you’re laying down. Shes also playful and will want to engage you in hide and seek or play fetch with a hair tie. She was previously an indoor/outdoor cat - we don’t feel comfortable doing that fully but do allow supervised outside time and she listens and behaves incredibly. Shes very intelligent. She does have some quirks - she loves to lay on you with a blanket and lick and burrow. She also will use her mouth, lightly biting hands, to engage with you at times. If stressed, (e.g. when we have extended travel), she has peed on bedding and towels on the ground. This has been curbed by us not allowed her access to these kind of items during higher stress situations for her, but it is part of her deme

Story
Sahara is a 7-year-old affectionate and friendly calico with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She’s the kind of companion who truly thrives on human connection. She loves curling up on your chest for pets, weaving between your legs for attention, and flopping dramatically onto her back to show off her cutest moves. Don’t be surprised if her playful side comes out in the form of gentle paw taps or little love nips as she soaks up your affection. With a low-to-medium energy level, Sahara enjoys a balanced lifestyle. She’ll happily engage in short bursts of play especially if there’s a ribbon to bat at or a laser to chase, but she’s just as content lounging nearby or retreating to a cozy, tucked-away spot for a peaceful nap. Quiet and observant, she’s a wonderful match for a calm home that appreciates her laid-back nature.Sahara currently lives in a medium-sized apartment and would do best in a home where she can feel secure and not overwhelmed. She may enjoy the company of another calm pet, but she’s selective with both cats and dogs and would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. Her true priority is her humans, and she’s quick to greet visitors with her friendly, affectionate demeanor. She does well with respectful children over 12 who understand her boundaries, as she can become defensive with overly forceful handling. New or unfamiliar noises may startle her at first, but with a little time and patience, she adjusts and settles back into her routine. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will shower you with attention and companionship, Sahara might just be your perfect match. - - - - -- - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Story
Breadstick was born in May 2022 and is a beautiful, independent girl who prefers a calm, quiet environment. She would likely do best in a home without young children or other pets and with someone who understands and appreciates cats with more independent personalities. She is healthy, spayed, and litter box trained, and she will come with her litter box and supplies. Due to an upcoming move, I’m unfortunately not able to keep her. My priority is finding a stable, patient home that is the right fit for her. A $50 rehoming fee will apply to help ensure she goes to a responsible home. If you or someone you trust may be interested, please message me and we can talk more. Please feel free to share.

Zoey is incredibly sweet and loving. She is curious and loves to play with toys and other cats. Her favorite thing is to perch her chin on you while she sleeps. She's loved and cared for, but unfortunately I work long night shifts and am not able to give her the attention and play time she needs and deserves. She is skittish at first, but once she warms up she is the sweetest little shadow.

Story
Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet this stunning black-and-white tuxedo beauty — about 1.5 years old and bursting with personality! This sweet girl came into rescue pregnant, raised her kittens like a superstar mama, and now it’s her turn to find a forever home. She’s spunky, sassy, and wonderfully chatty — always ready to share her thoughts, opinions, and daily commentary with her humans. She’s very social and loves being part of whatever’s going on in the house. When she’s not supervising, you’ll find her soaking up sunny windowsills, bird-watching, or racing around during her epic zoomie sessions. She’s confident around other cats and can be a bit bossy. With proper introduction she could live with other kitties. Although she would probably be happiest as the one and only cat!  She has been around dogs and definitely holds her own. She would thrive in a home that appreciates her bold personality, playful spirit, and talkative charm. If you’re looking for a cat who will make you laugh, keep you company, and fill your home with love and conversation — she just might be your perfect match. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, rabies vaccine, and heartworm, ear mite & flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Story
Mabel is a sweet little calico who’s equal parts snuggler and playful adventurer. A true people-pleaser, she loves being close to her humans—whether that’s curling up on the couch during TV time or snuggling in bed at night. Mabel is also very food-motivated, which makes treat time and bonding extra fun! When she’s not soaking up cuddles, she’s chasing toys, pouncing on anything that moves, or happily bird-watching from a sunny window. Mabel is a very friendly, social cat who isn’t afraid of people and is perfectly comfortable sharing space with a large dog. Mabel does have a significant heart condition that will require a special adopter. She takes medication twice daily (it’s easy to give, especially since she loves food), and the cost is approximately $55 per month. Her expected lifespan is estimated to be 18 months to 3 years, and surgery is not an option. That said, you would never know anything is wrong—she is incredibly playful, full of life, and nothing slows her down. Mabel is looking for a loving home willing to give her the care she needs and cherish every moment with her. Because of her medical condition, there will be no adoption fee for Mabel. Mabel and Dot are sisters who share a special bond. They love playing, bird-watching, and curling up near each other, and they’d be delighted to spend forever together in the same home. Both are very friendly, social kittens who are confident around people and relaxed with a large dog. While they would love to be adopted together, they are not so tightly bonded that they must be—each has the confidence and personality to thrive in their own loving home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, rabies vaccine, and heartworm, ear mite & flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
