Story
Luna is 4 years old, her birthday is in April. She may take a little bit to get used to a new family but she does really well with all animals, she’s just shy. She really cuddly and is super loving. I unfortunately cannot hold her anymore, but she’s very special.

Story
This cat is extraordinarily friendly, curious, and playful. She’s tolerant of just about anything as long as she’s getting attention. She loves getting her neck and head scratched. She does get bored and will “hunt” you for fun. Would probably love a sibling cat. She followed me home one day. I was unable to find where she came from. No microchip and no claims. I can’t keep her, but want her to have a good home to go to.

Story
Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. To meet Rin, please visit our webpage to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats

Story
Caribou is a beautiful calico/tabby mix who was picked up off the side of a freeway with her two kittens. The finder took Caribou to MNSnap as a TNR cat but after seeing how good she was with her kittens and the potential she had to becoming a house cat/pet, the finder reached out to us to take her rather than return her to where she was found. She has been very shy and a bit nervous since she joined us but we know she has great potential if someone would just give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and safe. We know that she is not the type of cat that everyone is looking for as many want instant gratification cats but we whole-heartedly believe that her person is out there somewhere and without us posting her story, that person may never be found. If you have an open heart and a desire to make a difference in a cat's life, maybe Caribou is the one for you - it's worth a visit to at least meet her, right? Caribou's DOB is approx. 6/1/18. Her ear tip that you see in her profile pics is the result of her spay at MNSnap. Presently, we are recommending older children only as a match for Caribou as little ones would not know how to read her signs. Dogs are an unknown. And, as you can see in one of her pics, she does fabulously with other cats. If you'd like to meet Caribou, please visit our website to schedule a visitation. www.ggohinc.com.

Story
If you'd like to meet Lauren, please jump to our website (https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats) to review our adoption process & requirements and to schedule an on-site visit. Lauren was part of our 40th Avenue farm project where we helped a local farmer with an over-population issue. Lauren is a bit on the shy side but allows petting and will stay in place if you approach her slowly so she knows you mean her no harm. She needs a home with another cat to make her feel safe while she learns to trust you. She gets along with other cats well, so you need not be too concerned about her adapting to your home and current pets. However, if you have no other cats, Lauren has many friends here at the rescue who would love to be adopted with her. Lauren is shy, but she is so worth the effort to get to know her. She is not a lap cat (if you're looking for that type of connection, let us know and we can introduce you to others that are). Her transition will take time but if you are okay with that, then perhaps you are just what this shy girl needs. If you see what we see, we'd love to make your acquaintance and so would Lauren. Please consider her. Lauren has an approx. DOB of 3/1/2019.

Story
Hello, My name is Fern. I was brought to SFAAR at a few weeks old. When I went into get spayed at 3 months old I was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and in heart failure. I love all the cats & people that visit. I play and eat like a normal kitty. While my time hear may be short I just celebrated two years in rescue. I was recently spayed & updated on my vaccines. My condition at this time is being controlled with heart meds but we don't know how much longer that could be. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy every second I have & live it to the fullest. If you have experience in having had a cat with a heart condition we will consider adopting her into the right home that will continue her medication and help her keep her quality of life comfortable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 9, 2024, 8:55 pm
