Toni and Gumdrop are two affectionate kittens looking for their forever home!These two are the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed! Toni is a 6 month old, energetic grey kitten that likes to be around her human friends. Gumdrop is an 11 month old calico with lots of love to give! Toni’s day consists of playing, sleeping, and rough housing with Gumdrop. They are very close and make a perfect pair! Gumdrop’s hind legs are limited with running and jumping and she deals with daily sneezing. But this won’t stop her from climbing stairs and getting around just fine — she is healthy in all other respects! When it’s time for a rest, these two will happily settle down for a nap to recharge.Toni and Gumdrop currently live in a foster home with two adults. Their ideal home would be one with plenty of space to run around, with windows and doors to peer out of. Gumdrop can be shy, but with patience and love she will open up to you. Then she will like to be held and petted! Because of this, patient owners who will respect her space are ideal. Because she is reserved, a dog would likely be too intimidating for her. Roux is about 11 years old! We have had her since she was 8 months old. She is a silly cat that loves attention! Shes always laying on our company and has to be around us pretty much at all times. She has been so loved and spoiled over the years but ever since we brought home our baby last March, she has been acting strange and doing things that are out of character, such as peeing on our rugs. We don’t know what else to do and feel she would be better off with another family that has more time for her and her needs. She’s so sweet and has lived with cats and dogs (we used to foster dogs) and she does great with all of them, unless they come after her, of course. It took us a long time to come to this decision but are at a loss. We truly hope we find a new home that will be better for her and whoever gets the opportunity to love her! Meet Wren 🐾 Wren’s story began in a warehouse, where this tiny little girl was found all alone at just 3 weeks old. There was no mama cat, no siblings, and no one to care for her. She was covered in fleas and already fighting so hard to survive. Thankfully, Wren found her way into rescue, where her amazing foster family stepped in and bottle-fed her, cared for her, and gave her all the love she needed to grow. Against the odds, this little fighter thrived. ❤️ Now, at 3 months old, Wren is a beautiful calico/tortie with a BIG personality to match her adorable face. She is opinionated, sassy, playful, and incredibly cuddly. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it! Once she's ready for snuggles, though, she's happy to curl up with her people and soak up all the affection. Wren is also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and gentle children. She has come such a long way from the tiny, flea-covered kitten fighting to survive in that warehouse. I adopted Tuna Melt from the humane society in 2024. She had been found in an abandoned house before being brought to the shelter. While she is an amazing cat, she requires someone with patience because it takes her a long time to open up. She can be a bit grumpy and hissy with new people. However, once she trusts you she can be affectionate and cuddly on her terms. She doesn't do well with other cats or children. She loves the cat tunnel, wet food, tube treats, playtime with the cat wand, and sleeping on the couch. Big windows to watch birds is also a plus!

Tabitha is a little shy at first but once she is comfortable with her surroundings she is quite affectionate and a lap cat. She doesn't do well with other cats but does well with well mannered dogs. Tabitha is a very active and curious cat. She was adopted and returned because of her activity level. She will open kitchen cabinets to see what's inside. Acadia is a cute and young 7 month old kitten. She was found with her mom and 2 siblings by 2 very nice people on their property in Southern Minnesota. Unfortunately, they could not keep them so they contacted Cause for Paws. Acadia is a playful kitten always wanting to play with her siblings or mom. Acadia's siblings have been adopted so it is just her and mom. We feel that mom and daughter should be adopted together which will help Acadia transition to a new home. It may take time for Acadia to adjust to new situations but once she does she becomes a very confident cat. She loves attention and will purr non stop once you start to pet her. Typically won't greet new people right away but it doesn't take long for her to warm up to people. There no children in the foster home so we don't know how she will do with children. She cannot go to a home with children under 8 years old. Acadia will need to have another young cat or her mom in her new home. Denali is a sweet 2 year old tabby cat. She came to Cause for Paws by way of Southern Minnesota. A wonderful couple found her and her 3 kittens on their property. Unable to keep them, they contacted Cause for Paws. Two of her kittens have been adopted. Denali and her Acadia, her remaining kitten are still waiting to be adopted. Denali is friendly and enjoys the company of people over other cats or dogs. She seems to always be on the go exploring, but will take the time to sit next you for pets. Denali is not fond of the other cats in her foster home so she is best suited to a home with no other pets. She is bonded with her daughter, Acadia so they need to be adopted together. There are no children in her foster home so we don't know how she will do with children. She cannot go to a home with children under 8 years old.
