Story
Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. To meet Rin, please visit our webpage to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats

Story
If you'd like to meet Glamour, please go to our website and review our adoption policies and procedures and to schedule an on-site visit. www.ggohinc.com Glamour is one of our more shy cats here at GGOH. She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. Please consider this sweetheart - we know she's not for everyone, but maybe, just maybe, she's for you. Glamour's approx. DOB is 10/1/2020.

Story
Caribou is a beautiful calico/tabby mix who was picked up off the side of a freeway with her two kittens. The finder took Caribou to MNSnap as a TNR cat but after seeing how good she was with her kittens and the potential she had to becoming a house cat/pet, the finder reached out to us to take her rather than return her to where she was found. She has been very shy and a bit nervous since she joined us but we know she has great potential if someone would just give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and safe. We know that she is not the type of cat that everyone is looking for as many want instant gratification cats but we whole-heartedly believe that her person is out there somewhere and without us posting her story, that person may never be found. If you have an open heart and a desire to make a difference in a cat's life, maybe Caribou is the one for you - it's worth a visit to at least meet her, right? Caribou's DOB is approx. 6/1/18. Her ear tip that you see in her profile pics is the result of her spay at MNSnap. Presently, we are recommending older children only as a match for Caribou as little ones would not know how to read her signs. Dogs are an unknown. And, as you can see in one of her pics, she does fabulously with other cats. If you'd like to meet Caribou, please visit our website to schedule a visitation. www.ggohinc.com.

Story
If you'd like to meet Kenzie or any of our other available cats/kittens, please visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available on select days. www.ggohinc.com Kenzie was a stray colony cat that was observed struggling to care for her three tiny kittens - a lack of proper nutrition and cold weather on the way, those caring for her colony went into action to get her and her babies into rescue. Kenzie is probably just as thankful that we had room for her and her babies as we did. Winter can come on quickly in our state and families like Kenzie's often don't survive it. To that we say, "Welcome Kenzie, we gotcha!". Kenzie has an approx. DOB of 10/1/23.

Story
Meet Spinach Artichoke Dip, a handsome brown marble tabby with a big personality and an even bigger sense of fun! This playful, energetic boy is equal parts goofy entertainer and charming conversationalist—he loves to “chat” with his people and keep you company throughout the day. Whether he’s zooming after a favorite catnip toy or inventing his own games with anything he can chase, Spinach Artichoke Dip knows how to make everyday life more entertaining. He has a great balance of active and chill energy. After a good play session, he’s happy to settle into a comfy cat bed for some well-earned rest, preferably somewhere close to the action. He tolerates other cats well and would likely do fine with a respectful dog, though he hasn’t met one while in rescue. Spinach Artichoke Dip is also wonderful with kids of all ages, making him a great fit for a family home. Fully litter trained and easygoing, he’s fine being picked up but doesn’t need to be constantly held—he prefers affection on his own terms. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, talkative companion with a goofy streak, Spinach Artichoke Dip may be the perfect addition to your home. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Meet Johan — a handsome gray kitten with a thoughtful nature and a playful spark. Johan is a young short-haired boy who came into rescue after living outside, so he’s still learning that humans can be trusted. Because of his background, he will need time and patience to fully settle in. Johan prefers minimal handling and likes to interact on his own terms, but when he feels safe, he will purr and allow gentle petting — a special reward for earning his trust. He has a medium energy level and enjoys playtime with wand toys and toy mice. You’ll often find him perched on top of the cat house, watching the world go by from his favorite high spot. Johan is fully litter trained and does great with other cats. In fact, he must go to a home with another friendly cat, which will help him feel secure and confident. Johan has not met dogs while in rescue, but would likely do fine with a calm, respectful dog given proper introductions. He would do best in a quieter home with older, cat-savvy kids who understand how to give him space as he adjusts. With patience, consistency, and feline companionship, Johan will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. Johan is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
**Sousaphone**, lovingly called *Sousa*, is a delightful tortoiseshell kitten with a big personality packed into a tiny body. Sweet, playful, and wonderfully goofy, she brings energy and laughter wherever she goes. Sousa is especially known for her hilarious quirk: if she gets a treat she really loves, she’ll give a little growl when her sister comes near—clearly very serious about her snacks! This high-energy girl adores interactive play and is always ready to pounce on fishing pole toys or chase squeaky mice. When she’s not zooming around, you’ll often find her perched at a window watching the world go by or curled up on a person for some cozy time. She enjoys being picked up and likes cuddles, though she appreciates affection on her own terms. Sousaphone does great with other cats and must have a feline companion in her forever home, as kittens under four months thrive with a buddy. She’s wonderful with kids of all ages and, while she hasn’t met dogs in rescue, would likely do fine with proper introductions. Fully litter trained and full of charm, Sousaphone is a sweet, silly, and affectionate kitten ready to bring joy—and a little playful growling—to her forever home. 🐾💛 Currently fostered with: French Horn. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.
