Story
Luna was born on the college campus in Marshall, Minnesota just after Labor Day. Too young to make it through the winter! We rescued her and she was almost immediately tamed. She is smart, sweet, affectionate and playful, but shy. She has great situational awareness. Love cheese, milk, and Churro treats. She does not have any behavioral or health issues. She does not seek to go outdoors, but likes looking at the birds through the window. We have a quiet home, and don't know how well she would adapt to a noisier place or with young children.

Story
Ginger is a very sweet and loving middle aged female cat. We took Ginger home from a family farm as a kitten about 7 years ago. She is very friendly and has never attacked another pet or human. She likes to be around people or other cats. Ginger had an injury of some sort to one of her eyes. We think she is now blind in that eye. Other than that, she is in great health and in need of a loving home.

Story
If you'd like to meet Glamour, please go to our website and review our adoption policies and procedures and to schedule an on-site visit. www.ggohinc.com Glamour is one of our more shy cats here at GGOH. She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. Please consider this sweetheart - we know she's not for everyone, but maybe, just maybe, she's for you. Glamour's approx. DOB is 10/1/2020.

Story
Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. To meet Rin, please visit our webpage to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. https://www.ggohinc.com/adoption-process-cats

Story
If you'd like to meet Poppy, we ask that you visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available certain days of the week if that is more convenient for you - these days are also posted on our website. www.ggohinc.com Poppy came to us from a hoarding case with extreme/severe malnutrition - she weighed 3.5lbs at intake, at just around a year old. The pain she must have endured is unimaginable. But through it all, she has been nothing short of amazing - she is the gentlest, sweetest soul. She doesn't fight for food or survival as you would expect her to - she's just living her best life in a safe, nurturing environment and is thriving, showing us just how perfect she truly is. She is still small, but she is gaining weight. Her fur is returning to normal. She's happy. And she's ready to find her forever home and family! Poppy gets along great with other cats/kittens and is gentle enough to be with kids of all ages. Dogs are an unknown but we don't anticipate any issues given the personality she has shown us while here. If you're ready to welcome a new family member into your life, come meet her. We think you'll be as smitten with her as we are. Poppy has an approx. DOB of 1/2/2025.

Story
Meet Spinach Artichoke Dip, a handsome brown marble tabby with a big personality and an even bigger sense of fun! This playful, energetic boy is equal parts goofy entertainer and charming conversationalist—he loves to “chat” with his people and keep you company throughout the day. Whether he’s zooming after a favorite catnip toy or inventing his own games with anything he can chase, Spinach Artichoke Dip knows how to make everyday life more entertaining. He has a great balance of active and chill energy. After a good play session, he’s happy to settle into a comfy cat bed for some well-earned rest, preferably somewhere close to the action. He tolerates other cats well and would likely do fine with a respectful dog, though he hasn’t met one while in rescue. Spinach Artichoke Dip is also wonderful with kids of all ages, making him a great fit for a family home. Fully litter trained and easygoing, he’s fine being picked up but doesn’t need to be constantly held—he prefers affection on his own terms. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, talkative companion with a goofy streak, Spinach Artichoke Dip may be the perfect addition to your home. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Wayne is a mellow, gentle orange boy with a quiet soul and a soft spot for cozy spaces. An adult male with a calm, independent nature, Wayne prefers a peaceful environment where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. Rescued from outdoor life alongside his brother Wilson, Wayne has blossomed into a sweet, reserved companion who truly enjoys lounging—especially curled up with his feline brother or tucked away in his favorite underneath hidey spots. Wayne is great with other cats and must have another feline companion (especially important around young kittens). He has not met dogs while in rescue, so his comfort level with them is unknown. Because of his shy demeanor, Wayne would do best in a quiet home with older, cat-savvy children who understand and respect boundaries. A true low-energy couch potato, Wayne prefers minimal handling. He’s perfectly fine being picked up when needed, but he doesn’t require constant attention and is happiest when allowed to come to you on his terms. He is fully litter trained and very easygoing. Wayne is FIV positive — which simply means his immune system is a little weaker than average. With a healthy diet, regular vet care, and a stress-free indoor life, FIV+ cats can live just as long and happy as any other kitty. FIV spreads only through deep bite wounds, not through playing, sharing food or water, grooming, or snuggling — so he can safely live with other friendly cats. If you’re looking for a peaceful, sweet companion who thrives in a calm home and enjoys feline company, Wayne may be the perfect fit. He would love to be adopted with his foster companion Wilson! Currently fostered with: Wilson I am fixed, microchipped, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. She hasn’t met a dog while in rescue, but with proper introductions, she would probably do just fine. She’s fully litter trained and has lovely house manners.
