NOTE:Submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website:https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-applicationWe may not receive anything submitted through PetFinder or Adopt-A-Pet! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org .-----Meet BOSA! ❤️ What a love! BOSA is a 1 1/2 year old Cane Corso with a lot of energy and a mind for curiosity. BOSA is still learning to walk on leash, and he does jump and pull, because he is just a puppy in a giant's body. He doesn't know "sit" yet but one volunteer discovered that if you gently rub the big guy from the back of his neck all the way down his back to his tailbone, he will sit for you, (almost) every time. BOSA will require an adopter with plenty of breed and training experience, because he's a sweet boy, but he's also a powerful breed. He needs a patient, confident, and active home that will dedicate time to positive-reinforcement training to help him channel his big puppy energy into becoming a well-mannered gentleman.Because BOSA is so new to the shelter, we will add more details as we get to know him better. But for today, BOSA just wanted to say, hello! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 70 Age: 1yrs 8mths 1wks

Story
Meet Borgart! Borgart is an 8-month-old Cane Corso puppy with a big heart, a big personality, and an even bigger future ahead of him. This handsome boy is looking for a forever home that understands giant breed puppies and is ready to invest in helping him become the incredible dog he`s meant to be. Borgart is a friendly, social young dog who enjoys being around people and is generally easy to handle. While he`s calm in his kennel, once he`s out and about, his puppy enthusiasm takes over! He loves exploring the world and is eager to interact with everything around him. Like many adolescent giant-breed dogs, Borgart hasn`t quite figured out how big he is. He can be excitable, pulls hard on leash, and sometimes gets so excited that he forgets his manners altogether. He`s still learning appropriate ways to interact with people and other dogs, and he`ll need a family committed to providing consistent training, structure, and guidance. Borgart has shown interest in other dogs but can be a little rude, and potentially overwhelming during introductions. Because of this, a dog-to-dog meet is required for any potential canine housemates. With proper training and management, he can continue learning appropriate social skills and become a much more polite playmate. As a Cane Corso, Borgart is not just a puppy—he`s a future giant breed companion who will need ongoing obedience training, socialization, and confident leadership. He`s goofy, energetic, and sometimes clueless about his own size—but underneath it all is a sweet dog looking for someone to help guide him through adolescence and into adulthood. If you`re ready for a loyal companion, Borgart could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is a big, lovable Cane Corso with a soft side and a goofy personality just waiting to shine. Originally adopted from us back in 2023 and recently returned as an owner surrender, Toby is now looking for a true forever home where he can settle in for good. At first, Toby can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up nicely with a bit of patience. Once he feels comfortable, his fun, silly nature comes out, and you’ll see just how much personality this big guy has to offer. He’s easy to leash and walk, making him a great companion for daily outings. Toby has shown friendly, playful behavior with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. Because of his large size, a dog-to-dog meet is required to ensure a good match. According to his previous adopter, Toby has also lived successfully with cats. Overall, Toby is a gentle giant who just needs a little time to come out of his shell. With the right home, he’ll be a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion. If you’re looking for a big goofball with a heart of gold, Toby might be your perfect match!

Story
Panterita is a 6-month-old Cane Corso puppy with a larger-than-life personality, a playful spirit, and all the lovable chaos that comes with raising a giant-breed puppy! This handsome boy is looking for a forever family that`s ready to help him grow into the amazing dog he`s destined to become. From the moment you meet him, Panterita is eager to make friends. He greets visitors with a happy, outgoing attitude and loves attention, affection, and being part of whatever is going on around him. He`s a social youngster who enjoys spending time with people and soaking up all the love he can get.As a growing Cane Corso, Panterita is already showing off his enthusiasm for life. He loves toys, enjoys active play, and can get a little rowdy when he`s having fun. Like many puppies his age, he`s still learning that not everyone appreciates giant-puppy energy, so he`ll need guidance as he continues to mature.Panterita is expected to grow into a large, powerful adult dog, which makes training and socialization especially important. His future family should be committed to teaching him good manners, providing structure, and helping him build positive experiences with people, dogs, and the world around him. The time and effort invested now will pay off for years to come. This sweet boy is at the very beginning of his journey. With consistency, patience, and plenty of love, Panterita has all the potential to become a loyal, confident, and devoted companion. Cane Corsos are known for forming strong bonds with their families, and Panterita is ready to give his whole heart to the people lucky enough to call him their own.If you`re ready for puppy adventures, training milestones, and a lifetime of companionship, Panterita can`t wait to meet you! ????
