She’s curious, adventurous, talkative, and always ready to see what’s happening next. Once she’s worn herself out, she’s just as happy climbing into your lap or onto your chest for some love and a well-earned nap. This high-energy girl LOVES to play! Wand toys, balls, crinkle toys, stuffed mice, climbing cat trees, chasing, pouncing, and the laser pointer are all favorites. She especially loves wrestling and racing around with her sister, Thumper. Templeton is also quite the little explorer and can often be found perched on a windowsill watching the world or waiting by the foster-room door for her next adventure. Templeton is wonderfully affectionate, too. She’ll climb into your lap or even onto your shoulder for pets and scratches, purring easily and returning the affection with ankle rubs, head bumps, and the beginnings of some very cute biscuit-making. When meeting someone new, Templeton may hang back briefly while she figures things out, but she warms up quickly. She has shown that she can adjust well to new people and environments, especially with another confident kitty nearby. She’s also interested in her foster family’s resident cats and isn’t afraid to approach them and try to make friends. Templeton would thrive in an active, playful home with plenty of interaction and feline companionship. She is being fostered with her sister Thumper, and while they are not a bonded pair, they adore playing, chasing, and wrestling together and would make a fantastic duo for a family looking for two kittens. Thumper is a floofy tuxedo girl with a big personality, lots of energy, and plenty of affection to give. She’s playful, curious, social, talkative, and always ready for her next adventure! Thumper LOVES to play. Wand toys are a favorite, with balls, crinkle toys, stuffed mice, climbing cat trees, and chasing the magical red dot all close behind. She especially loves racing, chasing, and wrestling with her sister, Templeton. She’s also a confident little social butterfly. Thumper does well meeting new people and has adjusted quickly to new environments. She’s curious about her foster family’s resident cats and will approach them to try to make friends. She definitely doesn’t want to miss out on whatever everyone else is doing! And when those kitten batteries finally run down, Thumper’s affectionate side takes over. She loves pets, chin scratches, and being close to her people. She’ll give ankle rubs and shoulder bumps, purr happily, curl up on your lap, tummy, or chest, and sometimes simply walk right across you to get where she wants to go. One of her funniest habits is jumping onto her people and climbing right up to their shoulders. Remember Miss Titi? Well, her owner recently died a few weeks ago and we took her in.  Even though she’s adjusted very well to her foster home,  she’s still very sad so we told her we would find her a new home as soon as the vet bloodwork came in. Results? No thyroid or metabolic issues.  SHE’S JUST FAT! 😹 In fact, the bloodwork came back great!  She’s been given a clean bill of health.  Obviously she needs to go on a diet, but we are not using prescription food at this time because unfortunately she was fed a low quality food (basically kitty Taco Bell) so we think a diet of higher quality food might be enough to do the trick.  She seems to like what we have her on now . We’d also like to incorporate some more wet food in her diet, but that has to be done very slowly to avoid gut upset. Titi is a female calico, 6 to 7 years old and a whopping 19 pounds! She was raised with a big dog and seems to get along well with other cats who respect her boundaries but ideally she’d do best as an only cat. She is fully vetted for her age, litter box trained, and a total sweetheart -loving, and friendly. She’d be the perfect companion cat to someone who wants a low maintenance kitty with lots of love and laughs to give. Ironically she’s quite the ham LOL- not shy at all ! She likes to chat so she specifically requested a family who isn’t boring 😹 Titi also wanted to thank our amazing monthly donors so we can say “YES!” to urgent situations like these. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Sweet and sassy is Miss Gigi. She loves to be brushed, belly rubs, and to snuggle on the couch. She is obsessed with her spring toys and will play catch and bring them back to you to toss. She loves her cat wheel and will show off how fast she can run. She loves to sit on the toilet while you shower, sit on the top of the fridge while you cook and talk to you with her sweet throaty meows and chirps. She grew up with a medium size mellow dog and loves to groom him, she will not do well with a high strung dog, and her brother and sister cat. However, she is getting beat up by both and lashing out to both, we have done everything possible, catios, Prozac, separating and reintroducing and it’s has become detrimental to her health and well being and with the heaviest heart I must rehome her so she can be the solo princess, absolutely no other cats. She will come with her fav toys, cat wheel and bed. Her birthday is 2/28/23
