Story
We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Please fill out an application ASAP for priority consideration (link at the bottom). See why we are different from other rescues & Shelters! ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
💛Kitten season runs March-Oct in our area. Babies are just now being born. They will be weaned around June. We highly suggest looking into adopting adult cats! 🐾 Why Adopt an Adult Cat? Adult cats are often overlooked—but they make some of the very best companions. Their personality is already developed With an adult cat, what you see is what you get. You’ll already know if they’re playful, cuddly, independent, or a quiet lap companion—making it much easier to find the right match for your home and lifestyle. Fewer behavioral surprises Adult cats are past the unpredictable kitten stage. Most are already litterbox trained, understand household routines, and have settled temperaments—meaning a smoother transition into your home. A calmer, more relaxed companion While kittens are adorable, they can be high-energy and require constant supervision. Adult cats tend to be more relaxed, making them ideal for families, working households, or anyone looking for a steady, comforting presence. They’re just as loving (if not more) Many adult cats form incredibly deep bonds and are so grateful for a second chance. There’s something special about earning the trust of a cat who truly knows they’ve been given a fresh start. You’re saving a life that’s often overlooked Adult cats typically wait longer for homes. By choosing one, you’re not just adopting—you’re giving a deserving cat the chance they’ve been waiting for. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! Story
We adopted Owen when he was just a few months old in July 2022, and he has been an absolute joy ever since. He has grown into an affectionate, playful, and energetic boy who loves both zoomies and snuggle time. Owen has done wonderfully with our other cats in the past and has been especially gentle and sweet with our young son (born in 2023). In 2024, after we moved in with family, Owen began having some litter box challenges. Our home suddenly became much busier, with four other cats and a dog, and we believe the increased activity and competition for space have been stressful for him. Owen would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can be the only pet and soak up all the attention he deserves. In the right home, his sweet, cuddly personality truly shines

Story
Meet Mr. Boots, a playful and brave cat with a penchant for adventure. His independent spirit makes him a delightful companion for exploring and playtime. Although he can be rowdy and is still learning how to be gentle, his curiosity and bravery shine through in every interaction. Because of his rough and tumble playstyle, any children in his new home are required to be over 10. Mr. Boots enjoys basking in the sun for his naps, recharging for his next playful escapade. Adopting Mr. Boots means welcoming a spirited and loving feline friend into your life, ready to bring joy and excitement to your everyday moments. He wants to be your one and only, so he is required to go to a home without other cats, but don`t worry because he will give you all the love you could want.Adoption Fee $50
