Story
Wobbles is an affectionate girl with a distinctive strut. Shes been diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which means she has an unusual (and endearing) strut, tips over now and then, and her head can shake a bit especially when she lowers it. But that doesn’t slow this determined girl down one bit! She’s in home foster to help her work on her balance and strengthen her legs. She likely has some vision deficiencies as well. She seems to have a milder case of CH and she navigates well, eats and drinks normally (ok, maybe a liiiiiiitle messy), and uses a low entry litter box like a champ. She wants nothing more than to have a forever family that truly understands and embraces her diagnosis and is committed to keeping her inside and safe. She will reward your patience with the best purrs and will hook you in when she looks up at you. Did we mention she’s absolutely gorgeous?Summary of Personality: Wobbles is the biggest cuddle bug and thrives on attention. She doesn’t “meow” so much as use her Cardi B tongue trill impersonation. She’s affectionate and playful, with accommodations. She loves to bat around toys in a more confined area and bunny kick snuggies. She may have reduced vision so potential adopters will want to be aware that her visual tracking may be slower and her depth perception may not be as strong. She may also startle more easily. You may need to “baby proof” her area just a bit, such as blocking access to stairs, adding rugs to give her better traction, and ensuring she has soft landing areas for areas she’ll climb. Raised food and water bowls would probably be helpful, too. She doesn’t think her strut is “special”, and walks around with confidence.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Wobbles’ foster family has been fairly protective of her to help her gain confidence, She interacts with the 2 resident cats (“uncles”). She’s fairly submissive with them and will frequently lay down and roll over. She does like to swat at Uncle Benny’s fluff, swishing tail and he’s very patient with her. A new family will want to closely monitor play time with other calm animals to ensure that the play is appropriate for her balance issues. Wobbles would probably do better in a home with older children but she’d likely do well with younger children with appropriate, supervised interactions.Include any observations: Wobbles uses a low entry litter box with pellet litter. Her new family will want to take time ensure she k

Story
Introducing AmberA stunning mischievous, full of personality orange tabby with a twist.Don`t let this little girls diagnosis of cerebellar hypoplasia fool you (CH) for short. This is a neurological disorder that presents with a wobbly unsteady gait, falls and some head shaking. Navigating a room can be challenging. But this little girl has the tenacity and determination to conquer and divide. Her table etiquette needs some work as she can be a bit messy. She eats and drinks well but assistance is always welcomed. She is quite the diva in the litter box and will dig for what seems forever to get the perfect spot. She tends to lay down to potty so we are working on a standing position that may work better for her. Pellets work best for this little girl.CH kittens need to be indoor cats as they can not fend for themselves or maneuver away from trouble or danger. These kittens need protection similar to that of a baby with gates at stairs, rugs for traction, and soft landing areas. A soft sided tent with food and litter if unsupervised for any length of time.Summary of Personality: Amber is full of spunk, loves her toys and loves her quiet time of cuddles and attention. She purrs as soon as you enter the room and can be heard all over the house. Her sweet face and smile will melt your heart from the first time you see her.Pure joy !!!!!!Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): We are working on this as she has just finished her quarantine and spay surgery.Include any observations: Fully trained in litter box. These kittens will fall and spill at times , so be prepared. Also keep kitten wipes handy for an occasional clean up.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
