Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brief Bio:Penny was a stray cat that came to Front Street with a significant tail injury. She ultimately had to have it amputated (vet letter attached). She has been in foster care since her amputation recovering and learning to live without a tail. She has shown amazing resilience and is looking forward to finding her forever home.Summary of Personality: Penny is the sweetest kitten. Even with all of the medical challenges she has faced, she has always been friendly and happy. She wore a cone while she recovered from surgery without complaint and has even tolerated kitty diapers. She does not like taking medicine, but luckily she doesn’t need any more at this time. She loves cuddles, belly rubs and being pet behind her ears. She is playful and curious and gets along well with other cats. She is social and enjoys being around people.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Penny currently lives in a house with children, other cats and dogs. She has not been around the dogs directly, but she has spent time with kids and other cats. She is easy going and gets along with both well. She has not shown any signs of being timid with regard to normal household noises. She acclimates easily and is curious and friendly.Include any observations: Penny is litterbox trained. She does have some incontinence (leaking) which happens mostly when she is either very relaxed (sleeping) or when there is some pressure on her bladder. The vet letter goes over this as well. This is something that may improve with time. She has tried kitten diapers, which she tolerated very well.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brief Bio:Tortuga is a stunning tortoise shell female that is shy (especially hand shy initially) and needs time to trust new people and places in her life. All she wants is to be loved and a home that will show her what “permanent” looks like. She enjoys getting pets and love and purrs easily once she trusts you. If you are willing to meet her where she`s at and go slowly, she is going to shower with appreciation.Summary of Personality:Tortuga is quite the chatty girl. She meows to let you know she’s ready for attention, love, and of course…food and treats! She`s still nervous around new toys, sounds, and people but she`s come a long, long way in building her confidence! She loves to get pet and loved on. She can get a little mouthy if she`s over stimulated. Her new family will want to have her in a smaller area with no or very limited hiding spaces (like under a dresser or bed) until she gains her footing and confidence in her new surroundings.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Tortuga absolutely adores the 2 resident cats who visit her room. She perks up instantly and follows them and rubs up against them. She would flourish with a feline friend but probably best with one that`s pretty chill, at least initially. She`s not been around dogs but a very mellow (smaller?) dog might be a fit with slow, proper introductions and monitoring. Tortuga is likely not well suited for a loud, active environment or smaller children.Include any observations of being house trained (or not):Tortuga uses the litter box in her foster home. Her new family will want to make sure she knows where the litter box is in her new home before giving Jett full house access. Is your foster litter box trained?:Yes

Story
Luci is a sweet, indoor cat and will never leave your side. She's very well litter trained, a little slow to warm (loves hiding under beds), but once you give her some scritches, she'll forget all her fears and become the most adorable lap cat. I got her when she was around 5.5 months old, got her to all of her vet appointments, and she's now about 3.5 years old and is such a beauty. She likes sleeping on my legs and looking out the window. She has the zoomies at around 8:30pm everyday before she settles for a long nap. Her new home hopefully has a lot of windows and high places to sit. She's never been in a house with other pets or children long-term. She keeps herself busy and away from whoever and whatever she is afraid of. For the kids who have pet her, it has always been under supervision. It's breaking my heart to part from her, as she has been my sole companion the past three years. The adoption fee will be used to set Luci up for success in your new home!

Story
Willow is a very easy going cat. she is 10 years old but has always been an indoor cat, so she seems younger than she is. She is great with kids, teens, adults, cats and dogs. She still gets the zoomies every now and then, lol. Willow loves to be picked up, cuddles and pets. She is litter box trained and does not have accidents. She has never bit or scratched me or anyone in the house. She is also not shy, as it takes no time for her to warm up to new people or pets. Honestly, she is an ideal kitty for any family! Unfortunately, I have to rehome her as my living and financial situation has changed. I also have 3 large cat trees (and one small one), 7 packs of Pretty Litter, two litter boxes, a cat carrier, and a full bag of cat food I would pass along to Willows new owner. She is a great cat and will do so well in any new home. Just a reminder, she has always been an indoor cat and does not have any interest in going outside. If you want a cuddly cat, Willow is perfect for you.
