BONDED WITH JINGLES. This is Mika! She is a very sweet, but vocal cat. She lives with her sister, Jingles, and they will need to be placed in a home together. Both of them are indoor cats. Jingles was diagnosed with feline herpes when we first adopted her, so we are under the assumption that Mika has it as well. This isn’t a life-threatening condition, and I recommend researching it to understand the condition. Both of the cats I am listing are very sweet, and I love them so much, but unfortunately, two people in our home are allergic to cats.

Story
This is Lugnut! She was originally a stray, until we rescued and fostered her for 8 months. She was adopted once, but finding her a family has been a huge challenge. Lugnut is about 2 or 3 years old, she’s outgoing, affectionate, super sassy, and she loves to cuddle. Unfortunately, she has a biting problem. She will often grab onto legs, ankles, hands, and bite people for no reason. She’s not typically aggressive, but this habit has been a serious deterrent for potential owners. Despite her quirks, Lugnut is still a great cat, and it was a pleasure to foster her. She needs an experienced, dedicated owner who is willing to work with her. She’s not good with other cats, dogs, and a family with young children would definitely be a safety concern. She’s such a sweet girl, but her options for homes are sadly very limited.

Story
I have two cats, brothers, I need to rehome. They are wonderful pets, but I’m pregnant and I don’t want pets when my baby gets here. We’ve had them since March of 2025 and they’ve been great but I just can’t handle the extra responsibility on top of having a baby. I have a litter box with a swing door, a litter catching pad for underneath, whatever food is left for both of them (dry in the morning and wet food at night), I have some toys too. I’d like them gone sooner than later because I’m paranoid having them around with baby stuff. Also important to note, Lil Wayne (first pic) is timid and stays away from people unless Bev is there, and Bev is a big cuddler. It’s nice that they have each other anyways though.

Story
We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Please fill out an application ASAP for priority consideration (link at the bottom). See why we are different from other rescues & Shelters! ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). ## Meet Phil & Genny Double the Love. Double the Purrs. Double the Generosity. Some kittens are rescued because someone chooses to care. Phil and Genny are here because a lot of people did. Found abandoned together in a field and brought safely into rescue, these two orange-and-white sweethearts arrived during Big Day of Giving season. Their names—**Philanthropy ("Phil")** and **Generosity ("Genny")**—are a tribute to the kindness that gave them a second chance. Since the day they were rescued, they've done everything together. They play together. Sleep together. Groom each other. Explore together. If one disappears around a corner, the other is usually not far behind. Through every milestone, every adventure, and every new experience, they've always had each other. And honestly? We can't imagine separating them. Phil is the outgoing adventurer of the pair. Curious, playful, and always ready to investigate whatever is happening, he's the kitten most likely to turn a cardboard box into an expedition or invent a new game out of absolutely nothing. He loves people, starts purring almost immediately when picked up, and believes every lap was created specifically for him. Genny is the affectionate cuddle expert. Gentle, easygoing, and incredibly loving, she has a gift for making herself right at home in your arms, beside your pillow, or anywhere she can be close to her people. She gives affection freely and seems to view every day as an opportunity to spread a little extra happiness. Together, they're what their foster family affectionately calls **"cave kitties."** Give them a blanket fort, a pillow nest, a hoodie, or a cozy little hideaway, and you'll likely find both of them curled up together inside, purring away. While each kitten is wonderful on their own, their bond is something truly special. Watching them interact is one of the sweetest parts of fostering them. They bring comfort, confidence, and companionship to one another, and we'd love to see them continue sharing that connection for the rest of their lives. If you're willing to open your heart to two kittens instead of one, you'll be rewarded with double the entertainment, double the affection, and the joy of watching a friendship that has been there since the very beginning. After all, what could be more fitting for kittens named Philanthropy and Generosity than finding a family willing to give them the greatest gift of all—a forever home together. 🧡🤍 Adopt Phil & Genny and bring home twice the love. This brother and sister duo are vetted for their age, microchipped, litter trained, etc. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care!
