This is a decision that has come with a lot of tears. We have a very sweet, affectionate, and adorable 12-year-old cat who has been a loved part of our family for nearly 12 years. She is healthy according to her veterinarian, and she still has so much life and love to give. Unfortunately, we've been battling litter box issues intermittently through her life. We've worked closely with our vet, completed lab work, tried medications (including Zoloft), pheromone diffusers, different litter and litter box setups, and have been diligent about keeping everything clean. Despite our efforts, this has become increasingly difficult for our family to manage in this season of our lives. We're beginning to wonder if she might thrive in a quieter home with someone who is home more often and able to provide the calm environment she may need. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and our greatest hope is simply that she has a happy, loving home for the rest of her years!

We are looking for a loving new home for our 10-year-old Bengal-mix cat. He has many classic Bengal traits: intelligent, curious, energetic, playful, and very social. He loves being around people, exploring the house, playing, and being involved in whatever is going on. He is not happiest being left alone for long periods. He thrives on attention, interaction, and companionship. Unfortunately, our schedules have changed and we simply are not home enough to give him the socialization and engagement he needs. That is the primary reason we have made the difficult decision to find him a new home. He would do especially well with someone who works from home, is retired, or simply has plenty of time to spend with him. He is a great match for someone who appreciates an active, intelligent cat with a big personality. We care about him very much and want to find a permanent home where his social and playful nature can thrive.

0225015 - Say Hello Kitty - Kitty (yes, we know—real original name!) is a 1.5 year old calico tortoiseshell with a BIG personality. This chatty girl will happily hold a full conversation with you if you let her! Like a true tortie, she enjoys affection on her terms, but she’s never shy and always wants to be part of the action. She gets along well with the other cats in her foster home, though she did take a few days to warm up to them and seems to prefer males over females. She also handled meeting a dog well, so with a little patience, she’d likely adjust to a canine sibling too! If you have been following our rescue for a while you will notice Kitty was up for adoption about a year ago. She then broke out with sores all over her body and after numerous vet visits and various elimation diets we have determined she has allergies but have not been able to figure out exactly what she is allergic too. She now takes daily antihistamine medication, her hair has grown back in and she seems to be stable but her adopter will need to continue to give her medication (it's easy, we just put it on her food) and she is on a limited ingredient food.
