We love our orange boy but unfortunately our 8 month old daughter is showing signs of allergies to him. We have had him for 3 years and he has been an absolute blessing for us. Six years ago, we adopted Opal as a tiny kitten. Curious, confident, and full of personality from the start, she quickly became part of our family and earned the nickname Kiki, which she happily answers to. Opal loves the outdoors. Sunbathing, watching birds, and exploring are some of her favorite things, and shes happiest when she can enjoy fresh air and freedom. At home, shes easygoing, affectionate on her own terms, and very tuned into her routines. She especially loves getting wet food a few times a week and never forgets when its time. She gets along well with our dogs and lives peacefully with them, so we believe she would do well in a home with dogs given proper introductions. This is not an easy decision. Were preparing to head out on the road for an extended time, and we dont want Opal to be confined or put at risk from wildlife in unfamiliar places. Because we love her, were looking for a home that better fits her needs. Our hope is to find Opal a loving home
