Story
Olive is a sweet, spunky 8-year-old with soft, fluffy black fur and stunning green eyes. As staff favorite, she’s playful, energetic, and just a little mischievous (Okay maybe she's a bit more than a little bit... But who doesn't love mischief?)! Though she had a rough start in life, she’s now full of personality and ready for a home of her own. She likes cat nip and while she's not super playful, she will often take a nice walk on her cat wheel from time to time. Olive's ideal home will be one with no other pets and children only 16 years and up. She is a diabetic kitty and will require her adopter to be able to give her insulin twice a day, special prescription food, and regular glucose monitoring. CCS staff makes things easy for potential adopters by giving an in depth lesson on how to treat diabetes in cats and will be happy to show a new adopter the ropes! Meet a Lonely Hearts Club Member! Looking for an extra-special kitty? Our Lonely Hearts Club highlights cats who deserve a little extra love and attention. These cats may be overlooked because of their age, medical or behavioral needs, or simply haven’t found the right home yet but they all have so much love to give.

Story
Meet Milo! He is 8-years-old and wonderful, charming cat who has really come into his own as he’s settled into foster care. When he first arrived, he had a lot to say, but now he’s streamlined his conversations to morning check-ins, usually to request some attention and pets. In the evenings, Milo loves “hunting” style playtime and will happily chase his toys. During the day, he prefers to nap nearby, often choosing the chair next to the desk so he can keep his person company while they work and if there is catio access this is a plus in his books as he loooooves to soak up the suns rays and enjoy a nice summer breeze. While he tolerates other cats he would prefer to be the only cat in his future home. Milo is a great mix of playful, affectionate, and quietly entertaining a cat who will fit right in and keep you smiling. I’m currently thriving in a loving foster home! To learn more about me and set up a meet and greet, please email info@catcaresociety.org. You’ll receive an overview of any medical or behavioral disclaimers to review before scheduling an in-person meeting.

Story
Nookie is a 11-year-old senior gal looking for a quiet home to give her an unlimited supply of cat nip, toys, and all the sunny spots she can lay in. She takes a bit to warm up to new folks, but will inevitably start asking you for pets and scritches once she's comfortable. Nookie's ideal home will be one with no other cats or an independent cat that will give her the space she needs to do her own thing and that can accommodate all of her medical needs which CCS staff will be happy to go over with an eager potential adopter. Story
This is Violet! Violet is a 2-year-old tuxedo who appreciates a more relaxed lifestyle where she can thrive independently. While she may have a longer home adjustment period - Violet shows soft, quiet affection and companionship once she feels safe. Due to her being a little more fearful, CCS recommends her not to be adopted into a home with young children, but older children with knowledge of boundaries may suit her better. We would love for Violet to find the purr-fect family to give her a loving home! Does she sound like the kitty for you? Come meet her today!

Story
Meet Luna The Great! Luna is a gentle, loving 9-year-old gal who would thrive as the only cat in her new home. She has a quirky personality, loves being groomed, watching cat TV, and appreciates pets and human companionship. While she had some litter box challenges in her previous home, she has been a model kitty at the shelter and in foster with no recent accidents! Good job Luna! Luna is currently working on a weight loss journey and receives a daily oral medication along with a monthly injection. With her sweet personality and calm demeanor, Luna is looking for a patient, loving family to give her the quiet, cozy home she deserves. Her purr-fect home will be one where she is the only cat and can help continue Luna's journey to a healthy weight and accommodate her other medical needs. CCS staff will be more than happy to show any potential adopters what her medical care will entail. I’m currently thriving in a loving foster home! Story
Blue is a 7-year-old grey tabby with a calm, gentle spirit. He’s happiest curled up beside you on the couch, and getting lots of pets. Miller is a 9-year-old charmer who loves to “talk” and be part of the conversation. He’s interactive, affectionate, and always ready to share his thoughts! Together, they chase each other around the house, and when they get tired, they happily nap by each other's side. They’re the perfect reminder that love is even better when it’s shared. Are you looking for two cats instead of one? This cat is one half of a bonded pair! Bonded cats are required to go home with their buddy whether that be due to possible stress for one or both cats if they become separated or because these two have been together their whole lives! *Considering bringing home a bonded pair? We make things easy by offering a “by one get one” deal when adopting! If you see one but not the other on the website, give us a call at (303)239-9680 or email us at info@catcaresociety.org chances are they are temporarily not available but will be soon! Cat Care Society cannot place holds on these cats over the phone or through email but we would be happy to do a hold in person. * I’m currently thriving in a loving foster home!
