Good with cats,
Story
This is Lumi, short for Luminescent, because she lights up any room she enters! She was found as a cautious, but playful stray kitten (8-12 months) and has been living indoors for about 3 months. Since she has moved indoors, she has been even more cautious towards people. She lives with 2 other cats and is friendly with them. One of the cats is not as friendly towards her, but Lumi has never been the one to start a confrontation. She would do well in a home with either no cats or other friendly cats. It is unknown how well she would do with dogs in the home. Lumi has not been completely indoor potty trained yet, gotten her shots up to date, or spayed. She eats and drinks well. She has had some potty training and will use the litter box sometimes. She will need someone who can devote time to her training and who can clean up accidents. Overall, Lumi is a sweet girl who needs more time to adjust to living indoors, and has potential to be indoor/outdoor, considering her origins.

Story
Willow and Humphrey are brother and sister and need to stay together. They stowed away together in my son's car engine area (electric car) in June 2025 at about 5-6 weeks, and were very scared. They are house trained, but are quite independent and still somewhat scared of human interaction but are so happy with each other. I would describe these cats and low maintenance. As of January 2026 they are 8 months old. They had their initial shots and were speyed/neutered by Aurora Animal Services but have not yet had rabies shots. They are not allowed outside right now, but that decision will be up to the adopter going forwards. I am relocating overseas and am no longer able to care for these 2 beauties.

Story
Tater is nearly 8 years old and she's a really sweet girl. I inherited her July 2025 due to a family friend moving overseas and it was suppose to be a temporary situation. Unfortunately, her family isn't going to be coming back to pick her up and sadly, my life isn't conducive to have an animal full time. She's got a big kitty condo, a scratch post, her litter box with pellets, lots of refill pellets and pee pads that go underneath. She has lots of toys and a bean bag that she likes to lay in when the sun is out. I would really like her to be in a home where someone will be available consistently. She needs a friend and company in which, I cannot provide as I'm in a Masters program and it's quite demanding. She also has two carriers. One large one for travel and one small for the vet. She's a shy girl at first but, once she feels comfortable and safe, she wants to be close and nurtured. It does take her time to warm up so, patience will go a long way :).

Story
Cricket is a 12 year old neutered female calico. She is an indoor cat and been with only one family all her life. Her owner passed away and we already have pets of our own that aren’t so welcoming to her so that’s why we are having to find her a home. Ideally someone older in age as that’s what she’s used to. She is litter box trained, doesn’t prefer other cats, dogs no problem. She is very affectionate and shy at first, loves belly rubs and sunny spots. If you want a cat that’ll sit with you then she’s your kitty cat.

Story
Squirt is an outdoor mouser! And he gets the job done! I have been fostering him for a neighbor that had to move out of state in a hurry. He planned on coming back for Squirt, but plans changed because of some health issues. Squirt would be best as a barn cat, or allowed outside, with a warm safe place to come in. We leave our garage door cracked opened and he comes and goes at his leisure. In the evening, I put wet food in his bowl and he comes right in, so I can shut the garage door to keep him safe at night. He's very smart and has stayed alive with all the wildlife we have around our home. He's about 7 or 8 years old. He's sweet, but can be a little brat. He purrs and love pets, then sometimes he says that's enough! It will take time for him to trust someone new! I hate to give him up, but I dog sit for a living and its becoming quite a chore. He loves to jump the fence and go in the back with the dogs.
