Meet Cheeto! 🧡
Looking for the quintessential orange boy cat? You just found him.
At just 1.5 years old, Cheeto is packed with everything people love about orange tabbies: he's endlessly affectionate, hilariously chatty, wonderfully playful, and completely devoted to his humans. If you're hoping for a cat who wants to be involved in absolutely everything you do, Cheeto is ready to apply for the position.
This handsome guy is the definition of a Velcro cat. Working from home? Expect a furry office assistant warming your lap while you answer emails. Watching TV? He'll happily join you on the couch. Heading to bed? Don't bother making just one pillow available. Cooking dinner? He'll be there to supervise. Bathroom break? Yep... you've got company.
Cheeto's love language is headbutts. Your hand? Headbutt. Your face? Headbutt. Your leg as you walk by? Also headbutt. He lives for pets, lap time, and being as close to his people as physically possible.
When he's not cuddling, he's busy embracing his playful side. Wand toys are his absolute favorite, and he loves climbing to the highest perch in the house before settling in to watch the world through the window. Just make sure those window screens are secure because this curious explorer likes to keep a close eye on the neighborhood.
One thing to know about Cheeto: he's a bit of a door dasher. If a door opens, he'll be eager to investigate what's on the other side. His forever family will need to be mindful whenever coming and going to make sure this adventurous boy stays safe indoors where he belongs.
Cheeto was very aggressive toward a female cat in his previous home, so we believe he'll likely be happiest as an only cat. We don't know how he'd do with male cats, but given his history, a solo home is probably the safest bet. We also don't know his history with dogs. He would likely do well with older, responsible kids who understand the importance of keeping doors securely closed.
