Story
The sweetest 4 year old cats looking for a new home. We adopted these babies about a year ago. We recently had a NICU baby and his health needs have made it impractical for us to keep them and provide the care and attention they deserve. They are a brother sister pair from the same litter about 4 years old now. They were born on a farm but have been indoor kitties since a very young age. They’re curious and love bird/squirrel watching from a sunlit window. Felix, the grey tuxedo boy, is an attention hog. He loves snuggles and following his people around. He has more of a dog personality with how much he enjoys attention. Evie, the calico beauty, is more mysterious and cat like. She does love a good cuddle once she warms up, but it will be on her terms. She protects and mothers her brother and loves a good scratching post. These two will come with bowls, two metal litter boxes, what litter and food we have on hand, and carriers.

Story
Maddie and Olive are a bonded half-sister pair. 5 years old. Very sweet and affectionate, purebred ragdolls. We have three young children in the house and Olive has unfortunately become reactive to the babies and has scratched/bitten them multiple times. The last time was my 1yo's face and she needed to be taken into the hospital. She's also very aggressive towards dogs. I do clip her nails but it's not sufficient. Maddie is very tolerant of children, however she mostly hides during the day and only comes out after the kids have been put to bed. We want to rehome them because we feel that they would be happier in a home without children where they could be the main priority and spend all their time being doted on and cared for. The new owner would have to go under contract with the breeder.

Story
Max came to us by way of an extended family member in Rhode Island who had passed away. He's a social guy, always like to be where the humans are. He's 13 and would do best in a home where he's the only pet and likely wouldn't do well with small children, although we're not totally sure. He has hyperthyroidism which is manageable on medication, some arthritis in his back legs which means he doesn't jump much or enjoy being picked up, but he will climb into your lap for pets once he's comfortable in the home. He's very chill otherwise and would love a calm, consistent home.

Are you hiring? This is working cat is seeking a job in a rural environment such as a farm, stable, or garden center where they can enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety of a familiar place and a committed caretaker. Working cats span the spectrum of sociability, with some cats quite inexperienced and fearful of people, preferring to work from the shadows, and some cats who will eagerly rub against your boot and join you for your outdoor chores. Some working cats may amaze you with the mouse catching antics and athleticism, and some may be more hands off, discouraging pests with their presence and scent. Looking for a particular personality? Ask our team about finding the right cat for your environment. To set your new farm hand up for success, we recommend setting up a cozy, confined space replete with food, water, and litterbox. After a week or two of enjoying the amenities of their new environment they'll feel much safer staying put and getting to work. Have a big job? Ask our team about cats that may enjoy working in pairs or groups. All working cat adoptions are fee-waived, with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and ear-tip included. Story
Meet his chunky cheeked cuteness, Goose. Goose has been seen around a local neighborhood for quite some time and a good Samaritan was able to bring him to our shelter for safe keeping. In his time here with us we've come to realize that this little fella loves to have his chin and cheeks scratched and will ask for attention by rubbing along his kennel door and falling into offered hands. I bet Goose would love a family that can embrace his need for exploration but able to do so in a safe and thoughtful manner, maybe an enclosed catio? This fella also loves to perch on shelves and may enjoy a window perch at a window for extra mental stimulation and enrichment. Goose is recommended for a family with older or no children and without other cats at this time. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 11 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks
