Story
Hiya, I'm Simon! I'm an 8 year old orange and white tabby guy, and after living a hard life on the streets, I'm ready for the soft life inside with cozy spaces and lots of snuggling and playtime with my furever family. I have a good purr, and I like to show off my strength with love bites. I'm still learning how to be an indoor kitty, so sometimes I get a little overstimulated with attention, and then I need to play with some toys so I can get some of that energy out. I am friendly, but since I'm a bit older, sometimes my ornery side might come out. If you're looking for a slightly scruffy old man cat, I'm the right cat for you!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    March 7, 2026, 11:11 pm

Story
Hello, I'm Diamond! I'm a 2 year old brown tabby girl who loves to be loved! I am great with being held for cuddles and I am also great at singing the song of my people. Which is to say, I am so good at meowing! Not that I do it too much, but I'm also not shy! I want your attention, and I want to get all the pets you want to give, and I am also always down for snuggles...well, when I'm not playing! I'm the whole package, and if you're looking for a Diamond in the rough...well, that's my name! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Buon giorno! I am Gio, a floofy black boy kitty of 8 years! At some point, I was someone's pet, because both my front and back feet are declawed. Believe it or not, though, I was found outside as a stray. It wasn't easy being out on my own with only my teeth to defend me, and the shelter says that whoever adopts me must commit to keeping me as an indoor-only cat. I do love attention and pets, though I'm very sensitive about my rear end being pet. Also, as is common in declawed cats, I do sometimes give very hard love bites, so I might not be the best choice for someone with small children. But I'm a charming, loving boy who also, despite my age, loves to play! I can bat a mouse toy around with the excitement of a kitten.    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Howdy, I'm PJ! I'm a FLOOF, which means I have lots and lots of fluffy fur. I'm a brown tabby boy with cute white toes, and I'm a year old. I'm sharing a cage with my brother Duncan--I love him a lot and it would be cool to be adopted with him if you're looking for 2 awesome boys. I am mostly sweet, but I also don't stand for any sass, so you have to be nice. No pulling my fur or trying to pick me up if I don't feel like it. Oh, and while I don't love being brushed, I probably should be, so I hope you're ready for that challenge, hah! I don't hate being brushed, mind you. I just have to remember that I like it. But what I really like is playing with feather toys and being pet. And just lounging around being gorgeous. I'm VERY good at that!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hi there! My name is Duncan. I'm a big sweet brown tabby boy with a splash of white fur on my chest. I'm 1 year old, and I'm sharing a cage with my brother PJ. We love each other and would love to be adopted together if you're looking for 2 great kitties! I am a good-natured couch potato of a cat, who likes to be petted and get lots of face scritches. You might call me Duncan Donut, if you want a good nickname for me. I've never had a donut, but they sound delicious. Oh, and if you want to do a little heavy lifting, I don't mind being picked up! I quite enjoy being carried around, actually!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Howdy! My name is George, and I'm a gray and white boy kitty who is about 1 year old. I am VERY friendly and love being the center of attention! I love to play, I love to purr and be pet. I really love to snuggle and make biscuits--I am so good at it! I'm also pretty vocal, because that seems to be what gets people to walk over and give me lots of love. I'm a great all-around cat who will be the ideal companion for someone looking for a solidly friendly, slightly goofy, eager-to-please kitty friend!
