Update: Sadly Hugs passed away, but kisses is still with us. She has gotten very sweet. While she doesn't like to be held, she does love pets and she is where she would make a good indoor pet. She is waiting for someone to give her the love she needs.Meet Hugs and Kisses! ðŸ\x90±ðŸ’žHugs and Kisses came to us with their mom and siblings back in July. The whole family was a bit shy at first, but with time and care, Mom and the rest of the litter blossomed into friendly cats and found their forever homes.Hugs and Kisses, however—despite their sweet names—are still learning to trust people. That’s why they’re still waiting for their perfect match. â\x9D¤ï¸\x8FThis special pair will need a very patient adopter who understands that love takes time. They could make wonderful indoor garage cats and help with rodent control, but with patience and gentle attention, we believe they also have the potential to become loving companions. They just need someone who will give them the time, space, and kindness to show them that people can be trusted—and that they are truly loved. 💕They are fully vetted -- altered, vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped. We will have a special adoption fee on the pair because we know they will be going to a special person for adoption.

Story
Meet Pacolo and Picnic — a bonded brother-and-sister duo with hearts full of hope. These two sweet siblings traveled all the way from Tennessee in search of the safe, loving indoor home they never had the chance to know. Born to a feral mother, they were cared for by a kind homeowner, but no one was able to give them the secure future they deserved. Having adopted from us before, that caregiver knew Floyd Felines would do everything possible to help these kittens — and we were honored to step in.The long trip to Georgia was overwhelming for them, and shelter life has been an adjustment. While they were unsure at first, Pacolo and Picnic have learned that people can be kind. They’ve grown to trust us, and in their own gentle way, they’ve shown that they love us back. They enjoy the safety, routine, and care they receive here — but they are longing for so much more. They are ready for someone special who can offer patience, trust, and the chance to truly blossom.Pacolo and Picnic need a quiet, understanding home where they can stay together. With time and love, they will reward their family with the joy of watching them grow into confident, happy cats. They’ve lived peacefully with other cats and would be wonderful additions to a calm household. To help them find their forever home, we are offering a reduced adoption fee of $100 for both cats. They are fully vetted, altered, vaccinated, combo tested, and microchipped. These two have waited a long time for hope — could you be the person who gives them the life they’ve been dreaming of?

Story
Have you ever thought about adopting a cat who doesn’t demand your attention? One who may hide for a day or two before deciding you’re worth a visit?A cat who isn’t intrusive while you’re relaxing on the couch, but instead sits quietly across the room—beautiful, peaceful, and observant. A cat who may not be in your lap, but loves you with all her heart simply because you feed her, keep her safe, and give her a home. If that sounds like your kind of companion… well, we have just the cat for you.Blossom is her name. She is about 2 1/2 years old and very settled. She is not feral or angry, just standoffish. She doesn't mind the other cats around the office and she doesn't mind being talked to, but at this point, she doesn't want us petting her or loving on her. Who knows what may happen in a home of her own. She may exhibit the same personality we've seen. She may become a cuddle bug. We would love to find out. Because even the cats that aren't the most cuddly deserve a good home. She is fully vetted and just waiting for her home. Her adoption fee is reduced - $75. This helps cover her vetting. If you are willing, able and open to this opportunity, please let us know and we will set up a time to briefly meet her (before she heads away from us).

Update: Hansel and Gretel are now in our adoption room. Hansel is becoming very relaxed. Gretel is still getting used to being around many other cats as well as many other people coming in to see her. But she is dealing with it, especially with the help of her brother there keeping her grounded and ensuring her all is good. They are going to make someone a great pair of kitties. And they are beautiful!!!Hansel and Gretel truly need to be adopted together so that they can adjust to a new home together and show the adopters the love of two kitties who will be so grateful to be still together and cared for. They are with a foster now who is getting them more and more friendly each day, but they are so ready to have their forever home. One where they won't have to make anymore changes in their short life. From the Foster: Both will greet me at the window when I come home and meow at me through my the door until I come check on them. They’ll need a quite home with no young children. They do get along with other cats. They’ll take a while to warm up to new people, they hid from my pet sitter when she cat sat for me this week. Both are super playful, they like crinkle and bell balls. A streamer wand is their all time favorite! I really do think they’d do best adopted together.Hansel* Very affectionate and outgoing* Loves to hang out with you at the computer (he knows how to do taxes now) * Chatter box
