Story
Scanlan is a sweet, gentle orange Maine Coon mix who will turn 3 on April 28, 2026. We brought him home from Floyd, Virginia while traveling out of state. He’s a big, handsome boy at about 18 pounds with a loving personality. Scanlan loves to play, snuggle, and be close to his people. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe he can quickly warm up to you and becomes very affectionate. He’s also very smart and knows his name and a few tricks like sit, give paw, beg, and get down. He currently eats two small cans of wet food a day with a little dry food to snack on. Because of his gentle nature, Scanlan does best in a calm home with one other cat or a small dog. Larger dogs tend to scare him. He would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, loyal cat. 🐾

Story
Squidgy was found as a 4-month-old kitten by my mom on her job in February 2018. Squidgy has a special talent for hunting his foxies aka his foxes (+ 1 skunk & raccoon) plushie toys and bringing them to me while announcing very loudly with caterwaul meows how proud he is for his hunt and catch! Squidgy is a sweet boy who is loving and wants to be loved - he really is a big baby! I love Squidgy very much, but personal financial issues have made it to where I have to make the heart-breaking decision to part with my dear Squidgy and my other cats.

Story
This is our family pet Tiger. He is 17 years old. He is such a sweet boy and this breaks my heart. He’s having digestion problems that we cant afford to pay as my father is battling pancreatic cancer. His digestion issues cause him to have a leaky stool on and off. I believe he has mega colon which in theory is an easy fix but my parents just can’t afford it. My mother is immunocompromised and can’t effectively clean up his accidents without putting her own health as risk. Please help so they don’t have to put our sweet boy down.

Story
Found on the street by people and then later given to me by relatives concerned about her wounded and mostly healed broken leg, nothing is known about Lily's background. She is around 10, and looks like a Turkish Angora pure breed, though only a feline DNA test would truly prove if she were of that breed. She does have the gentle, slightly demanding, intelligence, and other traits of the Turkish Angora breed. She has a quirk of wanting to be watched while she is eating! I think it is because in her prior life on the streets, she was vulnerable to animal attacks while eating and now wants a guardian to protect her. She has an ongoing urinary-tract health issue, so she must always be fed specially formulated urinary tract cat food. Lily has been bullied by other cats in the past, so may prefer being an only cat. I love Lily very much, but personal financial issues have made it to where I have to make the heart-breaking decision to part with my dear Lily and my other cats.

Story
Marley was born in 2021 to a semi-feral cat that lived on my aunt's property, and I got Marley a year later. Marley is a very intelligent cat, yet such a silly goofy clown. Sometimes I think he is a dog in a cat's body. And he is so speedy, sometimes I think he teleports! lol. Marley also has the sweetest little meow! He has gotten used to the habit of going outside for several hours a day. I love Marley very much, but personal financial issues have made it to where I have to make the heart-breaking decision to part with my dear Marley and my other cats.
