Story
Meet Samy 🧡 Samy’s journey began on the streets of Cairo, where I found him as a tiny, weak kitten fighting to survive. From the moment I brought him home, he felt safe like he finally belonged. Today, Samy is a healthy, playful, and deeply affectionate boy. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and perfectly litter-trained. He adores company, playtime, and being close to the person he loves. He’ll curl up beside you, ask for cuddles, and purr louder than you’d believe. Samy is also very attached, he doesn’t like being alone, though he’ll find ways to entertain himself. Sometimes he meows when he’s far from you. I’ve been gently training him to be more independent, but I know there’s someone out there who’ll find his clinginess endearing, someone who’ll love having a cat who truly loves them back. Unfortunately, I have another rescued female cat with a difficult past, and she hasn’t been kind to him. That’s why Samy is now looking for a home where he’ll be safe and never alone.

Story
Opie is a 7-year-old neutered male cat looking for a new home. He is currently in Highland Lakes, NJ.Last summer, my family relocated from New Jersey to California. Opie stayed behind with a family who had agreed to care for him and eventually adopt him, but unfortunately that arrangement did not work out and they can no longer keep him.Opie is a shy cat who takes time to warm up to new people and environments. Since all the changes over the past year, he has spent a lot of time keeping to himself. He is currently living with another cat and a dog, and I believe he would do best in a quieter home.Once he feels comfortable, Opie is very sweet and affectionate. He enjoys snuggling, sleeping next to you, and being close to his person.I’m looking for a patient adopter who can give him a stable, permanent home and the time he needs to settle in.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PETUNIA, her sister and others will be arriving at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine on Friday 26 June 2026 from our partner shelter in Texas. We post our available pets across the east coast and Canada and welcome applications from anywhere on the understanding that approved families must be prepared to travel to the rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. We Will Be Actively Looking to Adopt Kittens in Pairs Health & Background Estimated date of birth: 6 April 2026 ✅ SPAYED ✅  Core vaccines (Nobivac Feline 1-HCP) up to date - too young for Rabies ✅ Monthly preventatives ✅ Microchipped with 24PetWatch - registered with Free Pet Chip Registry. ⚖️ Weight approx. 2-3 pounds Why We Will Be Actively Looking to Adopt Kittens in Pairs We will be actively looking to place kittens in pairs whenever possible, as animal behavior experts and feline welfare organizations consistently recognize that kittens develop better socially, emotionally, and behaviorally when they grow up with a feline companion of a similar age. Benefits of adopting two kittens together: Built-in playmate: Kittens have endless energy. A companion provides a healthy outlet for wrestling, chasing, and play, helping to redirect natural hunting instincts and play aggression away from people, furniture, and household items. Teaches bite inhibition and boundaries: Through play and wrestling, kittens learn how to control the force of their bites and scratches. When one kitten plays too rough, the other responds immediately, teaching important social limits that humans cannot easily replicate. Faster learning and social development: Kittens learn by watching each other. They often develop appropriate grooming habits, litter box skills, confidence, and social behaviors more quickly when raised with a companion. Reduces loneliness and stress: Kittens thrive on interaction and stimulation. Having a bonded companion provides comfort, companionship, and security, especially when family members are at work, school, or away from home. Helps prevent boredom and destructive behavior: Two kittens are far more likely to keep each other entertained, reducing the chances of unwanted behaviors that can result from boredom, frustration, or excess energy. Provides lifelong companionship: Many kittens form strong bonds with their feline companions, giving them a source of friendship, comfort, and enrichment throughout their lives. While every kitten and family situation is unique, adopting a pair often creates a happier, healthier, and better-adjusted outcome for both the kittens and their adopters.  Our adoption fee's are $250 per kitten or $400 for two.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2026, 7:01 pm

Story
We sadly need to rehome our kitty Winnie because she does not tolerate our kids well. I rescued her at 6 weeks old she’s now 14 years young! Winnie would do best in a house with adults who understand and respect cats being cats. Winnie loves being the center of attention and part of the gang, and will snuggle when she’s in the mood. She loves pets and will let you know when it’s too much and wants her space. Winnie has been a great companion for many years. We want to make sure she goes to a loving home.
