Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Melman is friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and cuddly — and occasionally suffers from outbreaks of single kitten syndrome. He loves to explore, climb furniture, and ensure nothing is precariously placed (such a helpful guy!). He follows his foster around the apartment when not receiving enough attention. He will drape himself around your neck like a scarf and nestle into you to share his love and keep you warm. He enjoys other cats, but has emphatically declined to share his home with any dogs. Melman is generally kind and cuddly with humans (he is a total snuggle bug), but can get nippy without enough stimulation. When he decides it’s time to wrestle and play rough, he will happily choose you if not redirected to the appropriate playmate/cat toy with potentially painful consequences. Although we don’t know his history, we suspect that Melman was raised as a single kitten and taught to play rough, so he is just now learning appropriate play behavior. While he does need his 20 hours of beauty sleep, he is otherwise pretty active and needs space and an appropriate cat companion for a good chase or wrestling match. Enter Lino — a loveable house panther who can very easily scare himself. Lino is a total lover, Melman's best friend, and a great criminal partner. While Melman enjoys center stage, Lino prefers to lurk in the wings until he knows he is safe, and then he will headbutt and roll around purring. He has been known to get stuck in high places, get rescued (by a human or Melman), and then climb back up and get stuck again. He may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but that works out really well, as Melman has enough brains for the entire operation. Melman needs to go to an experienced home with someone who can understand and pay attention to cat body language and is willing to create structure and boundaries. He actually listens very well if you are clear and firm. No kids.April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Slater and Reddy are adorable brothers who love nothing more than a good wrestle or snuggle session with one another. They’re both quite playful and can’t resist a cat toy or a found piece of string. Slater is a white and tabby mix who is sweet as can be and loves to eat. Slater enjoys exploring the house and is really respectful of everyone around him. He has warmed up to our family beautifully, and is incredibly sweet with our young kids. He can easily be lured with a treat or some good scratches behind the ears. He’s particularly attentive at meal time and is always the first to his dish. He’s super gentle and careful with his claws and is a joy to have around the house. Reddy is a beautiful, soft and slightly reserved black and white cat with a playful streak. He takes a lot of cues from his brother and has begun warming up to our family. He’s also gentle and never aggressive, but takes a bit more time than his brother to warm up. However, once he trusts you this silly guy loves pets and attention (trust us, the wait is worth it!). The quickest way to his heart is lots of playing and treats!April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Parfum is the sweetest cat and all he wants is to be loved! He started having full conversations with his foster on his drive home and hasn’t stopped since. This oh so sweet boy loves belly rubs (his sweet spot), chin scritches and being held like a baby and is so affectionate he doesn’t mind being smothered in kisses. He will get into your lap every once in a while, but most of the time he is glad to just be by your side, especially when sleeping. He is a very active and busy biscuit maker and spends the rest of his time meowing for attention, asking for treats or snoozing in a comfy spot. Parfum was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. In lieu of an adoption fee, we would be thrilled for a potential adopter to for a larger adoption donation and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. This cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and had an echocardiogram -- we would appreciate it if their potential adopter could help us cover this cost in lieu of an adoption donation.April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Whitley is a very sweet and friendly feline. With a calm demeanor and gentle nature, Whitley is perfect for those seeking a more independently minded companion. She is comfortable with being picked up in your arms and she loves receiving head and chin scratches. Whitley is currently on a wet food diet as she is showing symptoms which may be related to kidney disease. While tolerant of other cats, she prefers an area she can call her own.April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Meet Peaches, the sweetest 5-year-old lady who enjoys lounging around, sleeping on soft blankets, and keeping a watch out the window. Although she may be shy with new people at first, she has lots of love to give once she warms up to you. She loves to be in the company of her person, so much that she doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time. She is a purr machine and loves her scratching post and bumble bee toy. Peaches has not experienced any health issues apart from the occasional overeating (she lovessss food). A regular steady diet and mealtime schedule are very important. Peaches is very curious and always wants to know what's happening around her but can be easily startled by sudden movements and sounds. A quiet, calm home so she can sleep peacefully is very important. She isn’t the most keen on other animals but with time she may have the potential to warm up to other small, independent animals who also keep to themselves. She is best suited to an adopter who works from home the majority of the time in order to provide Peaches with all the attention and love that she wants . Peaches has the fluffiest belly and biggest stretches and is ready for her forever home.April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Sporadic Sutter von Powell is just as goofy as his name! He is 5 years old and has so many different personalities.  He’s very playful, and loves any type of string toy or running after something you throw for him, and will even pounce on toys and play by himself! He also plays with his tail a lot which is very entertaining! Sometimes his fosters will be watching TV and all of a sudden he bursts running into the room then jumps off the walls. His zoomies are so fun to watch - he’s always putting on a show! He is also quite loving, and will often ask for cuddles in bed or on the couch. He loves to be with his people; from laying on the ground while they cook to sitting on a chair at the dining room table while they eat dinner. He’s been open and friendly to other people who have visited before, and would be happy with another cat. He especially loves to be pet on the head, and loves to be brushed. He has so many nicknames, including Spore and Sporace. But depending on his mood, different nicknames come out! All in all, Spore is so sweet and will make his forever family laugh all the time, and whoever adopts him will be so lucky! Sporadic is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes. Sporadic was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. In lieu of an adoption fee, we would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.April 22, 2024, 7:27 pm
