Story
Pratt is an adult neutered male Black DSH. Are you the one that will be willing to open your heart and home to a special needs mini panther?  Please consider this easy-going guy.  His mellow nature makes him an ideal companion for someone looking for a 'lap cat.' He can live with dogs and other cats (with proper intros) which makes him a versatile addition to many households. Because he 'bumps into things,' he simply needs a consistent home layout—a small accommodation for a lifetime of love. Visually impaired cats like Pratt rely heavily on their senses of hearing, touch, and smell to build a mental map of their surroundings. He would do best in a home without young children. He will be having a dental 12/26 and is in foster care, please email us to arrange a meeting with Pratt.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. Story
Rio is a 9 month old neutered male White and Gray DSH. So far Rio is a quiet boy who is adjusting to shelter life. He enjoys his one on one time with the volunteers. He came from a household with other cats so he would probably be fine with other kitties.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. Story
Meet Lavender - A Quiet Beauty with a Gentle Soul Lavender is a stunning young boy with a sleek, deep gray coat that shimmers in the light. He truly lives up to his name. This shy sweetheart spends his days peacefully watching the world go by from a cozy perch, completely mesmerized by birds, squirrels and the occasional mouse on "Cat TV." Lavender is a quiet, independent soul who enjoys the company of other cats but prefers to keep to himself when it comes to people - for now. He's is just starting to accept pets and he will watch you with the softest, most thoughtful eyes that will steal your heart. He absolutely loves catnip, and treats are a sure way to his heart. While he's still learning to trust people, he's making progress every day with the help of his kind and patient caretakers. Lavender would thrive in a calm, understanding home with another friendly feline companion, maybe even his brother, Blackberry, who's also available for adoption! Blackberry is almost Lavender's twin with his sleek black fur coat. With time and love, we believe Lavender will continue to blossom into the gentle affectionate cat he's meant to be. When two cats are adopted at the same time the microchip fee for the second Cat is waived.
