Story
Andy, Andrew, Big Boy, Jerome. I don’t care what you call me as long as I can call you my home. I’ve been waiting so long. Full disclosure: I am not a huggy, kissy, lap sitting type of guy. What I am is a loyal friend, a good companion, your confidant, someone to come home to at the end of a rough day. I’ll respect your personal space if you respect mine. I do not like cats and they say I am good with calm dogs. If you’re looking for a quiet roommate, here I am!  Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.April 5, 2026, 2:10 pm

Story
Yoda is a sweet senior boy who prefers to spend as much time sleeping in your lap as possible. He does have some dry sneezing spells and does gentle "love bites" therefore would probably be best in a home without small children. He is good with other cats and with dogs, but needs to be introduced slowly. He is a fantastic, cuddly boy looking for a forever  home where he can snuggle up and watch tv or sit on someone's lap while they are reading. Yoda is currently in a foster home.
