Story
Hi there, my name is Angelfish! When I came to the shelter, I was originally part of the Barn Cat program. Cats in the program (including myself) have their left ear tipped during surgery, since it is the universal indicator that a cat is altered when outdoors. However, my behavior has indicated that I am shy, but not feral. Now I am here on the adoption floor, waiting to meet my forever family! I am still a bit nervous about being indoors and meeting new people, so please go slow with me. I have lived in a home before and may do well as an indoor/outdoor cat, where I can enjoy the comforts of inside and have a chance to burn some of my playful energy off. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope we can be friends!

Story
The cat's cat - Sirius. Sirius is a sleek and silky 1yr old black panther with tons of charm. He loves, loves all cats and would love to be best friends with your existing cat. Sirius is all about pets and affection and will gladly share that wonderfulness with his people. As the Mayor of the foster room at his foster home, has welcomed all when they arrive for their short stay. He seems to become smitten with all the girls and kind to be boys and kittens. The ideal home for Sirius includes a cat friend and people who will gush over him as he well deserves. Wait until you hear his roaring purr. You won't even need white noise to sleep with this guy around.

Story
Born September 2023, this young and active girl is seriously the most regal cat ever! She has the look of an Abyssinian with her soft fawn colors and huge green eyes! This young girl loves to play and play and play. She is not fearful and will come out to meet guests after she carefully judges them and deems them to be worthy. Abigale would love to be an only cat. She loves her people and would prefer to have her people around as much as possible. She will do best in a home where she gets plenty of play time as she is quite active. She loves high places and is often going higher to find her favorite spot. She is truly a unique girl who is looking for her unique person. She loves to follow her foster mom around as she is doing errands. She's quite the helper. She also loves the resident teenager in the house and thinks she's cool.

Story
Estimated to have been born in September of 2023, Bamboo is a calm and gentle girl with a sweet disposition and beautiful muted tabico (tabby and calico) markings. She is an FIV+ cat but she can still live a long and happy life! She was a stray kitten that was brought to a rural shelter and she probably was affected by FIV by being injured by another cat when she was still a very small kitten. She has spent a large part of her young kitten life in a shelter and we brought her into our rescue as soon as we heard about her plight! She is a little shy but she has blossomed and has quickly learned that people are pretty great. Her foster reports that she always looks at her with her big golden eyes and asks for gentle head rubs and pets all the way from her head to her tail. She is a great office companion since she enjoys flopping in front of the keyboard and making appearances in Zoom meetings by booping noses. This lovely girl is looking for a quiet home with gentle people that will help her continue on her journey to a happy and safe life. Bamboo would be fine as an only cat with people that are around a lot or with a friendly companion cat to keep her company.

Lime is the very loveliest of little ladies. She is FeLV positive which means she needs to be adopted as an only cat or with other FeLV+ cats. (Ask us for more information about FeLV.) She needs monitoring by a veterinarian to make sure her health remains good as the years go by. She might be the VERY sweetest cat on the planet and deserves her very own person that will appreciate her amazing and gentle personality and can see through her health issues. Lime comes to us from a rural county shelter and clearly has had a rough life. But she holds no grudges! She needs to find her special person and begin her new life as a treasured family member as she deserves.

May is a sweetheart! She is a gentle and very friendly black and white young lady with the longest white whiskers. May is a mild mannered girl who enjoys pets and brushing. She is a looking for a nice human who wants an easy breezy companion. She would also like to spend some time with her favorite wand toy and show off how fast she can chase her tail! May, and her sister June, are five year old gems. They are good buddies and would love to stay together forever, but they can be adopted separately. They are both incredibly social and wonderful girls!
