Story
Meet Bubbles – A Survivor Ready for Love At just six months old, Bubbles has already lived a story most cats never should. She was rescued near Davidson College from a colony in crisis—where a neighbor was actively harming the cats she called family. While others turned away, concerned community members stepped in, and Cats of Davidson answered the call. Bubbles was safely trapped, spayed, vaccinated, and given a second chance at life. Now, she’s ready for her first real home. Bubbles is a stunning light gray tabby with soft tortie undertones—her coat as unique as her journey. But it’s her gentle spirit that truly sets her apart. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains incredibly loving and trusting. Her favorite things? Churu treats (she’ll come running for them!) Gentle pets and quiet companionship A wand chaser toy The comfort of another cat nearby Because she grew up in a colony, Bubbles would thrive in a home with a feline friend. She finds confidence and joy in companionship and will blossom even more with a buddy by her side. She’s not just a rescue—she’s a survivor, a testament to resilience, and a reminder of what kindness can do. All she needs now is someone to show her what safety, warmth, and love feel like every day. Could that be you?

Story
This beautiful blue-eyed girl has already overcome more than most kittens ever should. She was discovered at one of our recent TNRV sites in Davidson, hiding inside the home where her feeder once lived—after a neighbor began harming the community cats. Despite such a frightening start, her gentle spirit is still shining through. We would like Darwin homed with another cat(s), as she's social and came from a community. She may be a little shy at first, but the moment you start petting her, her “motor” kicks on full blast. Her loud, steady purr is her way of saying she’s ready to trust again. And once she feels safe? She’s an absolute champion biscuit maker—kneading away happily while soaking up affection.

Story
Meet Your New Best Friend 💙 This handsome blue eyed young boy is a 6–9 month old Siamese Snowshoe mix with striking markings and an even more beautiful personality to match. He was originally trapped as part of our Blackwelder colony rescue effort in Davidson, but it didn’t take long to realize—this one was never meant for life outdoors. From day one, he showed us just how friendly and social he truly is. Instead of fear, he leaned into affection, quickly winning over everyone he met. Now safe in a loving foster home alongside some of his equally friendly former colony mates, he’s absolutely thriving. His foster describes him as: Affectionate and people-oriented Playful and curious (typical kitten energy!) Great with other cats Quick to settle in and trust He loves chasing toys, lounging in cozy spots, and soaking up attention whenever it’s offered. Whether he’s playfully exploring or curling up nearby, he brings a calm, happy presence to the home. His ideal home: He would do wonderfully in a home with other friendly cats or with someone who can give him plenty of interaction and companionship. Given his social nature, he’s not a cat who wants to be left alone all day—he truly enjoys being part of the family.

Story
From the moment her rescuer saw her in the trap, she knew Blossom was going to be the best kitty! Blossom immediately leaned into the finger pets through the trap walls. And when she got to the foster’s home, she immediately became the biggest flirt - rolling over and purring. Not a scared bone in her petite little body. Blossom has unusual black swirls in her fur and it is oh so soft! Her cutie pie face says it all about her personality. She currently serves as the Welcoming Committee for new fosters as they arrive. She eagerly greets them and puts them at ease and lets them know inside life is wonderful! Blossom is great with other kitties and loves to play with absolutely any toy. Blossom is a little lover and will bring an entire kitty lifetime of joy! Blossom will be spayed on April 29, 2026.

Story
Mojo is quite the handsome gray tabby kitten who looks older than he actually is. Look at that square jawline! He is going to grow up to be quite the catch! Mojo looks like a tough guy on the outside but is really a marshmallow on the inside. He is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly and shows his tenderness with his sweet purrs. Mojo’s fur is ultra soft and feels like velvet. He is just one big teddy bear! He will make a loyal companion.
