It is our honor to introduce you to Fred and Shane. This incredible dynamic duo is one of our best yet. Fred is a 2.5 year old goofy grey/black and white cat who absolutely adores attention and will follow his foster Dad around the house. Fred has inflammatory bowel disease that is well controlled on medication that he takes every other day. His calm and playful nature is the perfect compliment to his best friend Shane. Shane is a gorgeous long hair black cat who always wants to be where the action is. This little guy is a purring machine and is a master of pets. He loves to be loved but does prefer to keep 4 paws on the floor and would rather not be picked up. He is still officially a kitten at just under a year old. These best buddies love to play, and if you have a set of stairs, they will really impress you with their antics chasing each other on them. Wand toys and laser pointers are just about the best things on earth as far as they are concerned, and they will certainly impress you with their big jumps. Shane and Fred met in foster care and we can’t imagine separating them. They are the best of friends and must go as a pair. They are super sweet and loveable boys who love playtime, their humans, and each other. Trust us, if we could keep this pair for ourselves, we would - they are amazing. Meet Ellie, a perfectly petite girlie girl. Ellie was rescued from a backyard in North Olmsted after being seen crying on someone’s ring doorbell. She is sweet, tender, loving and friendly. Ellie is a bit shy when she first meets a new person, but as soon as she realizes you are one of those friendly humas she will be all over you purring up a storm. This lovely lady would do best in a home with a more laid back resident cat. She loves to play gently, but doesn’t stick around if It gets too rowdy. Ellie is all sunshine and rainbows and we can’t wait for her to find her forever home. To inquire about an adoption appointment (Monday-Friday), or curbside adoption (Sunday-Saturday), please visit https://clevelandapl.org/cat-adoptions-survey/ to complete an adoption survey. Know that we will respond to inquiries based on the timestamp of the email receipt. An adoptions associate will contact you via phone to review your survey and begin the next steps in the process if you are eligible to adopt. You must be ready to adopt right away, as we will not be offering holds. We are offering limited open browsing hours Saturday from 11am-3pm, Sunday 12pm-3pm, and Monday 11am-3pm. Browsing will be first come first served as we are limited the number of visitors in the building. The adoption fee for kittens 5 months and under is $125 and $50 for adult cats.
