His owner passed away and he is now at the shelter sad and alone, waiting for someone to come and adopt him. Change is hard when you`ve spent years loving just one person. He is shy at first when he meets you and may greet you with a hiss but it`s his way of saying `Please be patient with me.` Beneath that tough exterior is a tender heart. He communicates in slow blinks, the quiet language of trust, and once you earn his trust, you`ll know you`ve been chosen. He has decided that he can trust you if you are quiet and talk softly to him and offer soft pets on his head. He enjoys the simple things: a warm spot to nap, a calm home and read to in a gentle voice. Sit beside him with a book or even just talk softly-he listens. He may not always sit in your lap, but he`ll be nearby, keeping you company in his own quiet way. Doublestuff will blossom in a quiet home and would probably do better with a single person or couple who have time to give him love and attention. If you have a peaceful home and a soft heart for a senior cat who deserves his second chapter, he may be waiting just for you. She`s healed well while she`s recovered at one of the animal control officer`s homes. Cuddles maneuvers well and doesn`t let her leg affect her mobility. She may be missing a leg but she`s overflowing with cuddles, purrs and determination. Cuddles gets around beautifully, adapts like a champ and doesn`t` let anything slow her down. She is playful and enjoys pouncing on toy mice and loves chasing toy balls. Cuddles adores people and thrives on attention and is ready to charm her way straight into your heart. She will most likely be okay with another cat and should be great with children. Compatibility with dogs is unknown. Fill out an application online. Princess has been with our family since a kitten. She is almost 9 years old. Adopted her at a shelter she has been an amazing companion. She loves treats and most of all loves naps! Would be great for someone who is home and likes to snuggle. She is shy in the beginning but will warm up once she knows you are nice. Does not hiss or is mean in any ways was raised with newborn boys so was used to kids all her life. Always got along with our dog but we can tell she is stressed because he is a puppy and would do better in a new home.
