Story
Meet Junie B. Jones. She’s the sweetest little 10 month old cat with a beautiful soft all white coat and bright green eyes. We fostered her and have had her in our care since October. We had hoped that our resident cat would adjust to her but he has increasing levels of stress and we’ve tried everything to help him. Because our resident cat is now marking his territory and has increasing aggression towards her we think it’s best to find her a home where she’s more accepted. She is friendly and curious, is not the type of cat that hides even when visitors are over. She gets along with other cats and children. Despite his aggression toward her, she continues to try and snuggle and play with our resident cat. Junie loves to play with wand toys and lasers. She loves lounging in a hammock close to the window especially if it’s open and she can feel the breeze. She’s an indoor cat but has proven to be an excellent mouser as well.

Story
His buddy Ricky died 5 years ago so he has been alone. He would be good with one other cat or with someone who is home all the time. He is a velcro kitty. Soft like a rabbit. My adult children and ex left me to take care of him (I'm on a very limited income and have had major life changes). I tried to take care of his vet bills as he does have asthma and some kind of heart murmur. Currently exposed to water damaged building and it seems to be making him ill. I take him out and he is better. He is a snuggler and will cup his head into your hand. He will nip to let you know that isn't a good place to touch and reaching over him freaks him out. I would say no children but a quiet home. He loves his cat tree and when you crumple up paper and toss it he will bat it like a baseball. Currently too stressed after being through several moves. I have to move again and find some kind of sustainable work. He is REALLY stressed now and it isn't fair to him to be left alone. He is my baby...

Story
Meet our sweet 8‑year‑old girl Winifred aka Winnie who is looking for a new forever home.
This lovable cat was adopted and has shown just how gentle and affectionate she truly is. She has a calm, comforting presence and enjoys being near her people, whether that’s curling up for quiet companionship or greeting you with soft purrs. At 8 years old, she’s past the wild kitten stage and appreciates a peaceful, loving environment where she can feel safe and cherished. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she now needs to be rehomed, and this decision was made with her best interest at heart. She deserves a home where she will receive the attention, stability, and love she thrives on. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, sweet-natured cat to share their days with. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly special cat, she is ready to return that love tenfold.

`We cannot guarantee that a specific cat or kitten will be available during your visit. We also cannot place holds on kittens. Fill out an application online on the Parma Animal Shelter website and not on Adopt a Pet.`Mork is a sweet and affectionate confident male cat who enjoys being around people. He seems to have a calm and quiet demeanor and likes head, cheek and ear rubs. Mork is playful and likes string toys and lasers. He also enjoys watching cat tv !Mork doesn`t seem to be fond of other cats, and we don`t know his compatibility with dogs. He will most likely be fine with children. Mork would probably do well in a home where he can get a lot of attention. Fill out an application on the Parma Animal Shelter website and not on Adopt a pet. You will receive an email once the application has been approved.
