Story
Mochi was Adopted back in 2020 from a pet store in Cleveland. She enjoys supervised outdoor adventures and likes to chase crickets and climb trees. Mochi is very smart. She can high fives, sit, and will more often then not come when you call. She is very gentle with her nails on skin. She loves being brushed and generally okay with nail trimming if wrapped in a towel. She is truly such a loving and sweet cat. I am an expecting mom. I know that with my full time job and a baby on the way I will not be able to provide the attention she deserves. She is the perfect companion for anyone needing someone to come home to, take for car rides, or just pamper and play with. See more of Mochi on Instagram @mochicatadventure

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Goose & Mr. Kiki! This sweet pair came to the rescue separately and met in their foster home, quickly becoming best friends. Goose and Kiki are always together - they share their meals, groom one another, sleep together and move as one! We would love for these two to find a wonderful home together. Goose is a big lovebug who came to us after being found as a stray this winter. He is as sweet as they come - chatty, social, and affectionate. He loves to be around his people and is happy to play together or lounge on the couch - whatever you choose! Goose lives for attention and will jump on his back legs to head butt you for pets. He is a mellow fellow and should adjust easily to any home. He loves other cats and hasn't met dogs yet, but due to his calm demeanor, we don't anticipate he will mind them! Goose is about 3 or 4 years old.  Mr. Kiki: This big guy has had quite a journey. Mr. Kiki first came to us after his family, who adored him, could no longer care for him due to health challenges. They were heartbroken to say goodbye, but we promised to help find him a new home. After spending a few months in his foster home, Mr. Kiki was adopted - but when his new family also faced unexpected health issues, he once again returned to our care. He’s now back with his original foster family and ready to find his forever home. Mr. Kiki is social, chatty, and curious and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. He’s a shadow, following you from room to room even when he’s not in the mood for pets. Speaking of shadows, Mr. Kiki loves them! He is most active when hunting pesky shadows on the wall or floor. When it’s time to relax, Mr. Kiki is happy to join you on the couch - maybe not on your lap, but close by to be your TV watching buddy. Mr. Kiki can be particular about how he’s picked up, so a home without small children will be the best fit. He hasn’t met dogs yet, but we think he would adapt well to a polite dog. Both Goose and Mr. Kiki are neutered, tested negative for for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and current on their FVRCP, feline leukemia, and Rabies vaccines. They have also received de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Their adoption fee is sponsored for the right applicant. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, I’m Mel! My foster mom likes to call me "MELt my heart" and I think she’s right. My story began in the woods, where I was found all alone, hungry and afraid. Thankfully, Rose's Rescue volunteers scooped me up and brought me to safety. Now I’m in an amazing foster home and I've learned what it means to feel loved! At first, I was shy and preferred to watch the other foster kittens play from my hiding spot. But with patience, lots of yummy pate, and gentle care, I really blossomed. I’ve learned that being petted and cuddled feels pretty wonderful, and that I can purr! These days, I even meow for my foster mom when I want treats or attention. She loves when I snuggle into her lap and she scratches my little ear tufts. I love other cats and would be so happy to have a feline friend in my new home. I’m also much braver than I used to be. I adore attention and will quickly  show you my sweet and playful side. If you’re ready to open your heart to a gentle guy, I’m ready to MELt into your arms forever! Melvin's adoption fee of $75 includes  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Melvin is about 10 months old and is being fostered in Stow, OH. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Gus! This special guy is sweet, spunky, and full of energy. Gus loves toys (especially noisy ones), crinkly tunnels, cardboard scratchers, lounging by the fireplace, other cats, and attention from his favorite people. He is quite vocal and loves to chat!  Gus is like other kittens in many ways, but he gets around differently than most. He has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which is commonly referred to as wobbly cat syndrome. This condition is usually caused by the feline panleukopenia virus infecting an unvaccinated mother cat while she is pregnant, which affects the developing cerebellum of the kittens. C H is not contagious. It is non-progressive, meaning it will not get worse, and does not require medication or medical care - just thoughtful surroundings and some extra help. Gus is incredibly resilient and has adapted well to his mobility differences. He can walk or run a few steps at a time unassisted (no more than 5-10 steps, typically), but mostly scoots around, relying on his front legs to pull himself forward. His back legs are strong, but he has less control over them. Gus loves to wrestle and pounce but frequently flops over. He cannot do stairs and needs help and supervision with high furniture. Gus is litterbox trained and does a great job getting in and out of the box himself. He doesn't know life any other way and is happy and sweet-tempered with the loudest purr. Our sweet guy will have a full, high-quality life, but he does need a home willing to make a few accommodations for his safety and comfort, such as: A stable, cat-safe space without tall furniture he could fall from. In his foster home, he has a soft-sided playpen that he spends the day in while his caretakers are at work. Easy-access/low-entry litter boxes  Soft landing spots, rugs, or non-slip mats No stairs, or the ability to block his access to stairs A caretaker willing to give him occasional baths A family that understands his mobility needs and is patient with his differences! The adoption process for this sweet boy will require two meetings - a preliminary meeting at his foster home in Akron, followed by a home visit to ensure safe surroundings in his new home. The first two weeks of his adoption will be considered a trial to ensure his new owners are comfortable with his needs and level of care. Gus' adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Gus is about 7 months old. For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out adoption application from there. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Minnow! Minnow was trapped from a feral colony for TNR, but our volunteers knew she had too much potential to go back outside. Minnow's foster mom has been working hard with her and she has learned to feel comfortable around her trusted humans. Minnow adores other cats and loves to romp and play with her foster siblings. At about 8 months old, Minnow has lots of kitten energy but is also happy to chill out on the couch with her foster mom. Minnow is very shy around new people and will likely always hide from strangers or new people. Minnow will require a patient adopter willing to give her time to adjust to her new home and who will understand that she may never become a confident lap cat. Minnow also lives with a dog in her foster home and has done well with her. Minnow's adoption fee of $75 includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip.  For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue -  you may fill out adoption application from there.
