Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Wolfie! This sweet guy was born in rescue after his mama was found living outside as a stray. He and his siblings have been raised indoors and have grown up around other cats and even a rabbit. Wolfie is the smallest of his brothers and has a sweet, gentle soul that really shines once you spend time with him. He’s very much part of the action with his siblings but brings a softer, more easygoing energy to the chaos. Wolfie affectionate, sweet-natured personality shows in quiet little moments that make him especially endearing. Like most young kittens, he would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so his ideal home will already have another cat or will be interested in adopting him with one of his siblings. Wolfie has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. He is being fostered in Akron, OH, and was born on March 11, 2026. Wolfie's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. Wolfie will still need his rabies vaccine when he is about 4 months old. If adopted with one of his siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. His littermates are Winona, Whimsy, Wilson, Wisp, and Windy. Please note: Wolfie’s neuter surgery is scheduled for June 1st, and he should be ready to go home with his new family around the weekend of June 5th. Approved applicants are welcome to meet him before June 1st and may sign an adoption contract to place him on hold until after his surgery. For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking “More About Rose’s Rescue,” where you can complete an adoption application. Wisp and her siblings have been raised indoors and have grown up around other cats and even a rabbit. Wisp is the smallest of her siblings and has a gentle, soft-natured personality. She enjoys playful wrestling with her brothers and sisters but is just as happy curling up nearby for a quiet nap.  She loves cozy spots, attention, and following along to see what everyone else is up to. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bridget! This gentle girl came to us after being found alone outside this winter. She was trapped as part of a TNR project, but it was quickly obvious that she was not feral so she came to the rescue as a foster. Bridget is thrilled to be living indoors with a cozy bed of her own. She often does a few rounds of biscuits before settling down to sleep. Bridget is mellow, gentle, and affectionate. She would be an excellent companion for anyone, especially someone looking for a lounge buddy. Bridget has done well with the other cats in her foster home, although she does like to be in charge. She also does well with children but has not yet met dogs. She is being fostered in Akron, OH.  Bridget's adoption fee of $50 includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip.  For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out adoption application from there. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Gus! This special guy is sweet, spunky, and full of energy. Gus loves toys (especially noisy ones), crinkly tunnels, cardboard scratchers, lounging by the fireplace, other cats, and attention from his favorite people. He is quite vocal and loves to chat, especially in the morning when he is (not very) patiently waiting for his breakfast. Gus is like other kittens in many ways, but he gets around differently than most. He has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which is commonly referred to as wobbly cat syndrome. This condition is usually caused by the feline panleukopenia virus infecting an unvaccinated mother cat while she is pregnant, which affects the developing cerebellum of the kittens. C H is not contagious. It is non-progressive, meaning it will not get worse, and does not require medication or medical care - just thoughtful surroundings and some extra help. Gus is incredibly resilient and has adapted well to his mobility differences. He can walk or run a few steps at a time unassisted (no more than 5-10 steps, typically), but mostly scoots around, relying on his front legs to pull himself forward. His back legs are strong, but he has less control over them. Gus loves to wrestle and pounce but frequently flops over. He cannot safely navigate stairs and needs supervision when on high furniture. Gus is litterbox trained and does a great job getting in and out of the box himself. He doesn't know life any other way and is happy and sweet-tempered with the loudest purr. Our lovable guy will have a full, high-quality life, but he does need a home willing to make a few accommodations for his safety and comfort, such as: A stable, cat-safe space without tall furniture he could fall from. In his foster home, he has a soft-sided playpen that he spends the day in while his caretakers are at work. Easy-access/low-entry litter boxes  Soft landing spots, rugs, or non-slip mats No stairs, or the ability to block his access to stairs A caretaker willing to give him occasional baths A family that understands his mobility needs and is patient with his differences! The adoption process for this sweet boy will require two meetings - a preliminary meeting at his foster home in Akron, followed by a home visit to ensure safe surroundings in his new home. The first two weeks of his adoption will be considered a trial to ensure his new owners are comfortable with his needs and level of care. Gus' ideal home would have experience with caring for disabled animals. Gus' adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Gus is about 7-8 months old. For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out adoption application from there. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Goose! This sweet fella is a big lovebug who came to us after being found as a stray this winter. He is as lovey as they come - chatty, social, and affectionate. He loves to be around his people and is happy to play together or lounge on the couch - whatever you choose! Goose lives for attention and will jump on his back legs to head butt you for pets. He is a mellow fellow and should adjust easily to any home. He loves other cats (especially his foster brother Mr. Kiki) and hasn't met dogs yet, but due to his calm demeanor, we don't anticipate he will mind them! Goose is about 3 or 4 years old. He is being fostered in Akron, OH. Goose's adoption fee is $50 and covers his the cost of his  vetting, including a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), updated vaccines, routine de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name's Evie! I can be shy around new people but love other cats. I like joining other cats to play, but I will also play by myself. I'm not one for laps, but I'll definitely cuddle next to my humans. I'm also very treat-driven. My mother was run over, and a friendly stranger immediately rescued me to make sure I found a good home. Evie is about 8 months old. Her adoption fee of $100 includes  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Please note: Evie is in  our owner foster program, meaning she is not in a Rose's Rescue volunteer foster home. Evie's finder  is caring for her while we help find her a home. Evie's caretaker will provide copies of her vet history upon adoption.  For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out the adoption application from there.
