Marilyn Kiss is a gentle lady. She came to us as an older female with newborn kittens. She was likely scolded and chased off by many. She has always been gentle, but when she first came she was so timid. Over time she has gained more confidence and has forgotten the abuse she once endured from humans. She loves pets, a nice sunny window, and cozy spots to relax and watch the world go by! Marilyn does well with other cats, has only seen dogs at a distance, and we assume a home without small children would be best. Finley was saved from living a life outside of an art studio in a neighborhood of Cleveland considered an art district. She had people caring for her, but did not have a home of her own. Luckily, we were able to take her in and give her the works a.k.a. spayed and wellness care. She was a little shy at first, but definitely receptive of human attention. She is very receptive to attention but does become reserved in new situations. We can’t wait for you to meet her! We know that you’re just going to fall in love! Silver Dollar is a sweet boy who came to us with a couple other friends. He was coming to eat at a lady's house who had moved away. She was concerned that her cats would not get the help they needed now that she was gone and asked us for our help. Once we got these kitty cats, we realize they were all friendly. Like so many others, these boys were likely someone’s friend at some point. Or at least they thought they were until they were left behind. Silver is a sweet and cautious boy. He’s definitely seen some things while he was outside. He is out and enjoys affection when things are calm. He startles at times, but those times are becoming less and less. Bonnie came to us a couple years ago and just kind of had a slow journey with a couple different fosters. She’s been pretty friendly for a while, however, she was in a situation at first, where she kind of stayed off in the distance in a room with some other cats that weren’t quite as friendly. We transferred her last fall to a foster home where she could learn to be a kitty cat. She is doing fabulous and is the perfect coworker; we her!🙂 Bonnie has been to a couple vets as well because she had a limp. Her leg had previously dislocated and fused to her body wall. A surgeon at the VCA said to leave it alone and as long as she was walking, it would be fine, that if we did any type of surgery, it would likely cause some discomfort and arthritis down the road. We think her swagger (limp) is kind of adorable. It’s very slight. Would you like to have a coworker like her in your life? Great! Blossom (and her brother Khullar) came in as strays by the botanical gardens in Cleveland. They were being fed by a gentleman that worked at the Cleveland Clinic while he was in town. The neighborhood was not safe and he knew they needed help. Blossom is a very friendly gal that really gets along with other cats. She is a good girl that just wants lots of love!
