Meet George! George is a 5-month-old, 29-lb Catahoula Leopard mixed breed with an absolutely wonderful temperament and a whole lot of sweetness to share! This handsome boy is the kind of puppy who loves being part of the action but is also perfectly happy relaxing nearby. He enjoys getting pets and attention, but he doesn’t need to be the center of attention every minute—he’s just happy to be close to his people. George loves going for walks and is always ready for a little adventure. He’s playful, curious, and especially enjoys exploring outside, where he can often be found happily chewing on a stick. He is crate-trained and housebroken, which is a fantastic start for a young puppy! George is also great with children and has shown himself to be a gentle, affectionate pup who enjoys company. After some playtime or a nice walk, George is content to settle down and relax nearby. His sweet personality and easygoing nature make him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a puppy who can enjoy both fun and downtime. An experienced home with a patient family that can give him time to adjust would be best for him. He came in with his housemate, Korra, and loves her company, but does not seem fond of any other dogs. He would do best with children over the age of 12 years old, as younger children may be too much for him. **This dog is at the Ocean County Animal Facility North located at 615 Fremont Ave, Jackson NJ (off of Hope Chapel Rd). All dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and have age appropriate shots.** To adopt our dogs you must come to the facility with your entire family, including dogs, to meet with our staff and the dog you are interested in.
