Story
🐾 Meet Ruby! 🐾 Ruby is an adorable 8-week-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This little girl is full of puppy energy and loves to play, explore, and soak up attention from her people. Ruby is great with kids and other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she can run, play, and continue learning about the world. Like most puppies her age, she’s curious, playful, and ready to be someone’s best friend. Ruby isn’t particularly fond of cats, so she would do best in a cat-free home. She is still a baby and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and lots of love as she grows. In return, Ruby promises endless puppy kisses, zoomies, and a lifetime of loyalty. 💜 If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion to grow up with your family, Ruby might be your perfect match! Please fill out an adoption application to meet Ruby! https://form.jotform.com/leosfriendsrescue/adoption-application

PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. He will be able to be formally adopted once he's finished everything ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Lucky to Love Clover They say three-leaf clovers are a sign of simple, everyday luck… and our Clover is living proof that sometimes three is pure magic. This fun-sized tripod may only have three legs, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. Clover zooms, plays, and prances through life with the biggest smile and the brightest spirit. She’s proof that you don’t need four leaves — or four legs — to be extraordinary.Clover’s favorite things? Belly rubs that last forever, cozy cuddles on the couch, and sticking close to her people. She loves being part of the action and will happily be your little shadow, soaking up attention and giving it right back. All Clover needs now is her lucky charm — a family to call her own. And honestly? The real luck will belong to whoever gets to love this sweet girl every day. Adopt Clover and add a little extra luck to your life.History: Clover was originally adopted from OHAR in 2022, and for a while, she was living her happily-ever-after. When her family welcomed a new baby, Clover welcomed that tiny human with her whole heart. True to her loyal nature, she became very protective. She adored her little sibling so much that she simply couldn’t understand why other people needed to get so close. In Clover’s mind, she was just doing her job — keeping her precious baby safe from all those “suspicious” hands reaching in.Unfortunately, that protective instinct became a little too much for the growing family’s needs. And so, through no fault of her own, sweet Clover made her way back to OHAR.She didn’t lose her loving heart — she just needs the right environment where she can thrive and feel secure. Clover is still the same cuddly, belly-rub-loving, fun-sized tripod who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Now she’s waiting for her next lucky chapter… one that understands her loyalty is one of her very best qualities.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
Hi! My name is Scout, and I’m a 1-year-old, 50-lb female Black Mouth Cur mix. The rescue likes to say I’m a perfect Heinz 57, and honestly, that feels just right! I’m being fostered through Ruff Road Revival. I’m a joyful, playful, and energetic girl who thrives in an active home with a fenced yard and lots of opportunities to move, learn, and explore. I absolutely love to play—whether it’s with toys or other dogs—and I’d be over the moon to have a fun-loving canine companion to share adventures with. I have a confident, spirited personality and naturally enjoy taking the lead, which makes me a great match for a dog who appreciates my enthusiasm and charm.I’m fully potty trained and crate trained, so I already have a great foundation. I’m a smart, eager learner who knows several commands, including sit, shake, down, lay down, and crate—and I’m excited to keep learning more with my future family. I have a big love for my toys and bones and truly enjoy playtime and enrichment—it’s one of the ways I show my happy, playful nature. My foster family has helped me learn great habits and would be happy to share what’s worked so well for me.Overall, I’m a friendly, high-energy, affectionate pup with a zest for life. I would make an incredible adventure buddy and a deeply loyal companion for an active household ready to have fun, stay engaged, and build a strong bond with a wonderful young dog like me.While I’ve been with my foster dad for over A YEAR now, I’d love nothing more than to land in my forever home. If you have lots of land, I will be the happiest girl ever.Apply to adopt me! ##2620235##
