These two Chihuahuas, "Bruno", 3 yrs old (long-haired) and "Ollie", 6 yrs old (short-haired), belonged to my 92 year old father. I have been taking care of them for the past 6 months, while I handle my father's affairs, but I cannot wait any longer and must return to work and can no longer take care of them. They are both current on shots and neutered. Both dogs are really quiet, not the yapping kind, and they are very gentle and loving. They get along with children and other pets, including the "boss" of the house, "Liliana of the Veil", (Lily), my female cat...I desperately need to find a home soon, otherwise they will have to go to a shelter because I have been off too long and can't wait much longer. Please save them!!

Meet Stitch! This handsome 1.5 year old 10 lbs Chihuahua is searching for his forever home. Stitch is described as outgoing and an explorer. While he can be cautious around new strangers, he warms up quickly. He is currently being fostered with his sister and is described as the “leader” of the duo. He is an active boy who would benefit from daily walks and playtime. You can typically find Stitch running around with another dog, exploring the yard, playing with his toys or sitting in your lap. Stitch has been great around the other dogs and kiddos in his foster home. He has not spent any time around cats, but with proper introductions, he would most likely be fine in a home with a kitty. The ideal forever home for Stitch would be an individual, couple or family that can provide Stitch with daily enrichment. He is a young and active pup who loves to play, explore and go for walks around the neighborhood. He loves the kiddos in his foster home and would be happy with some in his forever home. Stitch is still mastering the art of potty training, but is making tremendous progress. He will go potty on pee pads inside and is learning that outside is the proper place to go. Shelton is a tiny little dude with a giant personality! He is as sweet as can be, loves to play with his foster sisters, play with his toys and follow you all around the house! He is very intrepid, and despite his tiny stature (less than 2 lbs) he can fly up stairs, run all over the house, jump up and down off furniture and generally entertain himself for hours! He is still just a baby so gets into everything, but loves his "good boys" when he goes potty outside, or gives kisses instead of puppy bites. When he's run out his energy, he loves to snuggle up by your side and take a long snooze. His is very good about sleeping on his own and stays quite all night. He is working on potty training and is very smart, and likes to please, so he should be easy to train. If you are looking for a pocket up, small enough to travel and carry in your purse, Shelton might just be the little man for you!Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Meet Daisy! She's a senior Chihuahua mix surrendered to us by her owners. She was somewhat neglected and came to us with severely overgrown nails. We're treating Daisy to a spa day and a full exam by our vet. Despite everything, Daisy loves people, and has the best personality. Daisy is very sweet and social. She loves to cuddle and give affection. Daisy is a very well behaved girl, with a calm, mild nature. She's great around kids and other dogs. She weighs under 13 lbs, is quiet and healthy. Senior dogs need help! This sweet family is hoping for a miracle. Their mom has entered a permanent nursing home for Alzheimer’s. Unfortunately, her family can not care for the dogs and are searching for a place for them to go. They've reached out to multiple rescues, but no one is able to help. We are their last hope before they go to the shelter. All of the dogs are seniors, and its highly unlikely they would make it out alive. We need fosters or adopters asap. The Chihuahua is named Girlfriend, and she is actually the mother of the other dogs! Mo is the black dog, and Lily is the white dog. If we can find fosters, we will have them seen by our vet and groomed. They're low maintenance and quiet. They love to take naps and sit in the sun. Once they warm up to you, they'd love to sit next to you and cuddle. Girlfriend, Mo and Lily are a little scared and shy right now, which is understandable given the situation. Gigi is a very special senior girl looking for a forever home. She's a happy well adjusted girl who lived with her mom her whole life. Gigi's mom developed dementia and finally had to go into assisted living. Her family asked us to help find Gigi a home. Although Gigi is considered a senior, small dogs live well into their late teens, so Gigi is really middle aged! She's such a happy little girl, and has the cutest personality. We had her examined by our vet, and treated her to a spa day. Gig is easy going and is fitting in very well with all the dogs in her foster home. Senior dogs are a joy to have in the home. They're all the good parts of having a dog, rolled into one loving package. Gigi is extremely well behaved, and doesn't have any destructive habits like chewing or digging. She's fully house trained, and loves to cuddle without being needy or clingy. Gigi loves to go on small walks, but doesn't need a lot of exercise. She's happy to sit next to you while you work on the computer or watch TV. Gigi would be perfect for a senior adopter or anyone who works from home. She promises to be quiet during zoom meetings!
