Presenting Minnow! Minnow is a feisty and fearless little lady available for adoption. Brought to a local veterinary hospital by Animal Control after being hit by a car, Minnow was unable to walk. The hospital staff lovingly cared for Minnow as she healed. They thought they were going to lose her a couple of times but this little lady has a big spirit and zest for life! Her teeth say she's around 8, but her mind thinks she's a kid. Minnow loves stuffed animals and is very playful. She is slow to warm up to new people and is pretty independent but would love to be a lap dog. Minnow would do best in a home where someone is there all the time. She is approximately 8 years old and less than 10 pounds, spayed, vaccinated microchipped. We think she's a cross between a Chihuahua and Dachshund.

Handsome Brando is a 14lb, 12 year old Chiweenie (chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who looks fantastic in a bowtie. He loves walks, belly rubs, and love & attention from his human. He takes a little while to warm up to other dogs and cats, but he does well with them once he does! He currently lives with other dogs and a cat and does well with them. He is house trained. Brando and does well with people with slow introductions. Once he knows you, hes a cuddly sweet guy who wants to be by your side and loves you! Because he can be "moody" when meeting new people, he just needs a little patience and understanding until he can open up and show his true, loving personality.

Dr Mantis Toboggan is a 13 year old chihuahua who is 9 lbs. He loves his people and loves to be cuddled. He does take time to warm up to new people. Mantis does well with small dogs after an adjustment period, but he is not a fan of dogs bigger than he is. He currently lives with other chihuahuas and does well with them. Rio is a spunky, adorable little dude. He is only 9 lbs, and the vet is estimating his age somewhere between 6-10. Rio is a sweet boy most of the time, but he does need his space, particularly at first. It takes him some time to trust people, so he can be nippy if he doesn't know you, and you pick him up or get too much in his space. Once he gets to know you, this gets much better. No kids for him! Rio does need boundaries established from the beginning, as he can get possessive of his person or his space, and get jealous when other dogs or people are near his person or his space. With boundaries established from the beginning, this doesn't happen as much (he is currently in a foster home and loves both of his foster parents equally!) He gets along with other dogs in a social setting, but because of his jealousy, would do best in a home as an only dog, or, with someone who knows how to set these boundaries for him to prevent the jealousy. Rio loves to snuggle, but we recommend letting him come to you when hes ready for a cuddle session! Rio is house trained and walks well on a leash.

He is good with other dogs, kids, and adults. Theo is shy when he first meets new people, but warms up quickly. I've raised Bands since he was a puppy in October of 2020. He just made three years olf August 11th.Bands is an affectionate and fun dog.Bands is my sweetheart and travel companion and we have been all over the world- Africa, New York City, Europe and more. Normally travel with him has been fine since he is certified as a service animal but I discovered that he is not able to fly as a service animal in other international destinations (going from a non U.S. country to another non U.S. country) and it made traveling on an international tour strenuous. As I'm preparing to travel again, I unfortunately have made the decision to find him a new home. I would prefer someone who: Has access to a yard or would take him regularly to dog parks. Has other friendly dogs Will feed him fresh good food (I've fed him greens, turkey and quinoa all his life) I'm preparing to move and travel and am flexible on these things but ultimately I'm looking for someone who will love him as much as I do.

Hi all, This busy family needs to rehome our senior. He has three human siblings all under 4 years old and a Saint Bernard sister. Unfortunately, he needs to be taken out a lot more often and ends up peeing his crate.
