This little cutie is Nellie! Nellie is a 4 month old, female, Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Nellie was born in our foundation when her Mama Lucy and two other dogs came to our rescue. The three dogs were seen being thrown from a car window, dumped and abandoned. The car took off and never came back for them. Luckily a kind woman got them to safety and reached out to us to see if we could bring them into our foundation. We said yes! Soon after arriving, we noticed that Mama Lucy was pregnant and soon after gave birth to three puppies. Nellie is a happy and sweet little girl that just wants to be loved. She is playful and so much fun! She definitely needs another young and small breed dog in the home or she could be adopted with her brother Nelson (Black/brown puppy). We don't adopt puppies out as "only" dogs. Nellie would love a safe and secure yard to run around in and owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Nellie is such a precious pup and we know that her forever home is out there! Nellie is microchipped and vaccinated and will soon be spayed at the appropriate age. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Double the fun...Double the love...Meet Louie and Ollie! These two sweet boys are lucky to be alive! A fellow rescuer we work with was told about two dogs that were dumped and abandoned in the desert. The person who told her about them was not able to catch them late that night and left a blanket and food hoping they would survive until the rescuer got there the next morning. Thankfully, they made it through the night and the rescuer found them huddled together protecting one another. She got them to safety and reached out to us to see if we could take them into our foundation. We said yes! Louie (brown/small) and Ollie (black/bigger) are approximately 2 year old male Chorkies that we trully believe are brothers. They are bonded boys and we want to keep them together. We are looking for a patient, loving, and nurturing home that will give the boys the time they need to feel safe and loved. A home with owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal. Louie and Ollie have been through so much in their young lives that we promised them that we would find them the best and most perfect forever home out there! I was so scared when my siblings and I showed up to our new foster mom's house. We were really unsure for the first few hours but as we got comfortable, we really warmed up to our new mom and big canine foster brother and two feline foster brothers. My foster mom tells me every day how sweet and smart I am! She tells me that I am the cutest little guy in the room and gives me kisses and snuggles which I love. She also says I'm the best because I am potty trained to my whelping pad and even use the porch potty during the day! I am enjoying my time here at my foster mom's house, chewing on my bones, and sitting out in the sun! Story
Amelia (Mia) is a very gentle, quiet and well behaved little lady. She is active, entertaining and curious but not a barker. Amelia loves to lay in the sun so a yard is mandatory for her. She would also like to sleep in bed with you at night. Once past the hurdle of her natural shyness with people who are new to her, Mia is friendly and extremely affectionate. She loves to be cuddled and would like to be a lapdog. Mia may be initially shy and skittish so she will need some patience. It took her about three months to really come out of her shell and become comfortable and confident in her foster home. As soon as she warms up to you though she wants to be your little shadow. Amelia would prefer a quiet household without much food traffic and no small children. It would be great if there is another calm dog in the household already since Mia loves to cuddle up to her doggy friends whenever possible. While Mia is housebroken, she does still need attention paid to make sure she is let out of the house to relieve herself. She will use training pads in the house if necessary. Mia is about 9 years old, she weighs 9 lbs., she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her shots. Our vet assumes that she is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix.

This pretty little girl is Pippin! We rescued Pippin from the shelter where she was found as a stray with no owner claiming her which is their loss, our gain because she is the epitome of perfection! Pippin is an approximately 1 year old, 10lb, female Pomeranian/Papillon mix who is absolutely stunning in person! She is a little social butterfly that loves everyone she meets including people, dogs, and cats! Pippin definitely needs another small breed, young, and playful dog in the home. She can't be an "only" dog. We want to see her in a home with owners that are not gone long hours during the day and it would be wonderful if there was a safe and secure backyard she could run around in.
