This little cutie is Nellie! Nellie is a 4 month old, female, Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Nellie was born in our foundation when her Mama Lucy and two other dogs came to our rescue. The three dogs were seen being thrown from a car window, dumped and abandoned. The car took off and never came back for them. Luckily a kind woman got them to safety and reached out to us to see if we could bring them into our foundation. We said yes! Soon after arriving, we noticed that Mama Lucy was pregnant and soon after gave birth to three puppies. Nellie is a happy and sweet little girl that just wants to be loved. She is playful and so much fun! She definitely needs another young and small breed dog in the home or she could be adopted with her brother Nelson (Black/brown puppy). We don't adopt puppies out as "only" dogs. Nellie would love a safe and secure yard to run around in and owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Nellie is such a precious pup and we know that her forever home is out there! Nellie is microchipped and vaccinated and will soon be spayed at the appropriate age. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Cute and So Sweet...Meet Linus! This little cutie pie is our Linus who is absolutely adorable in person! He came to us as an owner surrender who felt that they did not have the time to care for a puppy. Linus is a male, approx 6 month old Chihuahua/Doxy mix (Chiweenie) that is such a little love! Linus definitely must have another young and playful dog in the home. A home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal along with owners that are not gone long hours during the day! Linus does have a medium coat so he is a dog that will require grooming every 6-8 weeks. He is such a fun, adorable, and sweet little pup that deserves the best home out there! Linus is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered in the next few weeks. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Sweet, cute, and loving....that's our Lucy! Little Lucy is a 2 year old, female, Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Doxie) that is about 10lbs of pure cuteness! Lucy has a sad story....she came to us when she was seen being thrown from a car window with three other dogs. The car literally pulled up in a parking lot, stopped, rolled down the window, and threw these three dogs out onto the streets where they then started running every which way. Thankfully, kind people contacted a known dog rescuer in the area and she came out and was able to wrangle all three dogs and get them to safety. She reached out to us to see if we could take all three into our foundation and we said yes! Not soon after Lucy came to our rescue, we found out she was in the late stages of pregnancy and shortly after, gave birth to three puppies. So you can see this poor girl has been through so much in her young life. We are looking for a home for her that is ideally female only or if there is a male in the home that they are willing to work with her. She has a fear of men and shows it by going into defense mode with growling and barking. She doesn't do this with women so whoever harmed her in her past must have been a male. She can be an "only" dog in the home with owners that are not gone long hours during the day or better yet, work from home. She loves her human once she feels safe and secure and will be your best buddy from that point on. Little Lucy has had a rough life in her short two years, but we promised her that we will find her that forever home that she deserves! Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Super Sweet Senior...Meet Lei Lei! This beautiful and so sweet girl is Princess Leia or Lei Lei as we like to call her. Lei Lei is a dog we adopted out back in 2013 and we recently received a call from the owner letting us know that she needed to relinquish her back to us. She did not give her back because of any behavioral issues or anything like that, it was due to a new significant other in the home that did not want the dog there. It's ok, because we ALWAYS take one of our dogs back no matter what the reason is. When we got her back, she was underweight, but with her amazing foster mom's home cooking, she has put on a proper amount of weight and looks like perfection! Lei Lei is an approximately 13 year old, 13lb, female Deer Chihuahua that is the sweetest thing ever! We are looking for a home for her with owners that are not gone long hours during the day, work from home, or are retired. Lei Lei needs another sweet dog in the home as she really enjoys the company of another dog. I was so scared when my siblings and I showed up to our new foster mom's house. We were really unsure for the first few hours but as we got comfortable, we really warmed up to our new mom and big canine foster brother and two feline foster brothers. My foster mom tells me every day how sweet and smart I am! She tells me that I am the cutest little guy in the room and gives me kisses and snuggles which I love. She also says I'm the best because I am potty trained to my whelping pad and even use the porch potty during the day! I am enjoying my time here at my foster mom's house, chewing on my bones, and sitting out in the sun!
