Meet Stitch! This handsome 1.5 year old 10 lbs Chihuahua is searching for his forever home. Stitch is described as outgoing and an explorer. While he can be cautious around new strangers, he warms up quickly. He is currently being fostered with his sister and is described as the “leader” of the duo. He is an active boy who would benefit from daily walks and playtime. You can typically find Stitch running around with another dog, exploring the yard, playing with his toys or sitting in your lap. Stitch has been great around the other dogs and kiddos in his foster home. He has not spent any time around cats, but with proper introductions, he would most likely be fine in a home with a kitty. The ideal forever home for Stitch would be an individual, couple or family that can provide Stitch with daily enrichment. He is a young and active pup who loves to play, explore and go for walks around the neighborhood. He loves the kiddos in his foster home and would be happy with some in his forever home. Meet Lilo! This adorable 1.5 year old 7 lbs Chihuahua is searching for her forever home. Lilo is described as playful and adaptable. While she can initially be more timid and nervous around strangers, she warms up quickly and is incredibly loyal to her person. Her favorite activities include playing with her person, sitting on your lap for endless pets, eating lots of snacks and running around with chew toys. Lilo has been great around the other dogs and kiddos in her foster home. She has not been around cats, but we based on her mellow demeanor, we think she would be fine with a kitty companion. This girl is a bit of a diva. She is searching for a forever home that is going to spoil her by letting her lounge on the soft and bed. As a tiny pup, she likes to be perched. She loves spending time with the kids in her foster home so we think she would thrive in a home with kids. Lilo is a younger pup and would benefit from a home that includes her in activities such as walks around the neighborhood or adventures with the family. She is still mastering the art of potty training, but has made significant progress in her short time in foster care. With consistency, we think she will be fully potty trained very soon. These two dogs belong to my 91 year old father, who has been stuck in the hospital for the past three months. I have been taking care of them the past few months, but now I have to go back to work, which will leave me unable to take care of them. The smaller dog is named, "OLLIE", and he is 6 years old. The bigger, long haired dog is 3 years old and named, "BRUNO". Both dogs are very gentle and sweet and neither one of them barks very often, if you can believe that. They have been spending most of the days, sitting on the couch, watching TV. We go for a few walks each day and they spend the nights in a big crate, until the morning when I let them outside to go potty. They have been great dogs, but I cannot keep them because I am never home.

Meet a timid lady Bombom🩷(bom 봄 means spring in Korean) Even though she is still wary of people, she is getting better little by little. Bombom is learning to get adapted to spending time with her foster and foster family inside the house. She has not tried to walk outside yet. *Separation anxiety: A home camera was installed in the house to see Bombom when the foster family went outside, and Bombom she was waiting and missing her foster family. *Potty-training: Bombom mostly stays indoors and can perfectly go in the center of the potty pad!💯 * Energy Level (1~10): Level 2 * Socialization -People: Curious about people but still scared. When her fam approach her, she tends to step backward. Still gets nervous and flinches when someone tries to touch her but doesn’t move away from her spot. She’ll take treats if her family is holding them. Once in a while, she approaches her foster and the family first! She can get nervous and tremble if she makes eye contact with human strangers. She moves away when someone suddenly comes at her. -Dogs: She gets along with the foster's dog. *She's still scared of Bombom’s surroundings and everything in the world. To protect herself, she “growls” but doesn’t show other aggressive behavior. Chris and Mas came into the shelter wearing red and green collars, so they were named Chris and Mas, reminiscent of Christmas!😊 - Separation anxiety: None at all! - House training: Prefers outdoor elimination! In the process of transitioning, there might be some accidents indoors. - Energy level (1~10): Level 4 - Plays well with dog friends! Initially a bit shy in new places, but once adapted, approaches other dogs politely and engages in lively play! - Enjoys people but can be a bit reserved initially. If given time, quickly becomes affectionate and enjoys being petted 🥰 - Slightly uneasy in crowded places like elevators, but manages well on their own! - Has a lively and playful nature, enjoys playing with toys on their own 😄 - A bit fearful, reacts to small noises by perking up ears. Has bright, alert eyes. - Can be afraid of being picked up, but no more accidents. - Particularly dislikes electric noises like hairdryers and clippers. - Eats well but prefers meaty treats over regular food sometimes. - Doesn't bark unnecessarily! - Bathing and trimming fur can be a bit challenging, but tooth brushing is managed very well! - May experience motion sickness on journeys longer than 30 minutes, resulting in vomiting. - Sheds quite a bit during shedding season. - Has mastered the "sit" command! - Likes: Chicken treats, fleece blankets, and being around friends.
