Story
Natasha had a rough start to life and is learning what it means to be a dog. She will require a fenced in yard, as she is learning how to walk on a leash still. She runs really hard to one person and prefers females. She LOVES other dogs and cats. Natasha is becoming a little bit of a shadow and a lap dog and she really does love her person once she bonds. No small children, as she is still nervous around quick movements and loud noises

Story
Meet Molly and Daisy! Molly and Daisy are bonded sisters in need of a new home. Molly and Daisy are both 13 year old chihuahua mixes. Daisy is black and grey and weighs 11 pounds, and Molly is black and tan and weighs 13 pounds. As a bonded pair, Molly and Daisy need to be adopted to the same home. Molly is shy at first but warms up quickly and is the perfect loving companion. Daisy is warm and loving. She immediately rolls over for belly rubs! Both girls are great companions. They both love to sleep with their human and they love to snuggle beside you any time you sit down! Their foster mom says their behavior is absolutely perfect. Both girls are able to go potty outdoors or are able to use potty pads indoors. Molly and Daisy are both in good health. They have been fully vetted and are up to date on vaccinations. They are spayed and microchipped. They take monthly heartworm prevention. Molly and Daisy’s adoption donation is $500. Story
Hi, Bailey! :) Bailey came to CRT from an animal control center after the raid of a small hoarding situation. She is about 10 years old and weighs in at around 20 pounds. She is very good with other dogs and school age children. Bailey is so gentle that she would most likely be very good with small children and cats too. She will let anybody pick her up. Bailey will follow her person around the house wherever she goes. She eats well and is housetrained. She loves to explore the yard. She also likes to go on short walks where she will take her time and smell all the good things a little dog likes to smell. Bailey would do well in any home. She is up to date on all her shots, is spayed, microchipped, fully vetted, and ready to be adopted! Bailey has a heart murmur that currently does not require medication. She will need to continue seeing a heart specialist as she may need to go on medication in the future. Bailey’s adoption donation is $250. If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below. Story
Meet Sassy Pants (aka Sassy)! Sassy is a female chihuahua estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs around nine pounds. She was found as a stray and hopes her next home will be her fur-ever home! Sassy loves to play with toys and loves to play fetch! She loves to be chased, run zoomies, and get belly rubs and snuggles. She is a great snuggler! Ideally, her new family would be able to give Sassy lots of love and play time. Once she gets to know you, she remembers and loves you, but it is best to let her come to you and ask for attention than approach her. Sassy can be aggressive when meeting a new person and has occasionally snapped at someone but has not bitten anyone. She is working with a trainer to become less reactive. She does better meeting new people if they are sitting down. She hasn’t spent much time around kids or other dogs and hasn’t been cat tested other than at the vet, where she didn’t seem to react. She walks in between large flocks of geese with no reaction, she was caught licking a bunny on a walk but didn’t attempt to hurt it. Sassy likely needs to be an only dog as she is possessive with her toys and can be food aggressive. She is suitable for an apartment or single family dwelling and is not a flight risk. Sassy walks well on a leash. She is slowly becoming less reactive to people and other dogs on walks but will occasionally still bark or growl. Sassy is completely house broken and does not get into anything. She loves car rides. She has a security blanket and sleeps in it wherever the blanket is at the time. Sassy is spayed and vetted. She does well at the vet. Sassy’s adoption donation is $300. If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. Story
Dave is an 8 year old, 24 pound male chi mix looking for his forever home. Dave is not the usual chi mix that CRT rescues. Our buddy Dave was rescued from a hoarding situation along with 10 Chihuahuas, and they just couldn’t leave this sweet boy behind! The best guess we have for Dave’s breed is possibly a combination of corgi and chihuahua, given his build and size. He is a work in progress and needs to lose a few pounds to get to his ideal weight. To get to his first goal of 20 pounds, he needs to lose 4 more pounds. Dave gets along well with other dogs and he is still playful and has quite a bit of energy for his age and weight. Dave is shy at first, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up to new people. He is a very loving dog and just needs a family to call his own. Dave walks well on a leash and is house trained. Dave is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and has been fully vetted. As mentioned previously, he is on a weight loss journey since entering rescue, and his new family will need to continue working on thie with him. Dave is heartworm negative and takes monthly heartworm prevention. He is also microchipped. Dave’s adoption donation is $300. If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.
