Story
Meet Bootsie: The 9-Year-Old Diva Who’s Done Tolerating Nonsense Listen up, dog lovers — Bootsie has arrived, and she’s not here to play games (unless it involves treats). This 9-year-old queen weighs in at a mighty under-20 pounds, which is impressive considering the sheer size of her personality. She’s house trained, leash-ready, and will absolutely love you unconditionally — as long as you follow her very reasonable list of rules. Her Rules: Rule #1: Do NOT pick her up. She is not a purse dog. She is a dignified woman. Rule #2: Hands off the back and sides. She didn’t say you could touch there. Rule #3: Bring snacks. Always bring snacks. She is highly food motivated and will respect you more for it. Bootsie does have a small lump on her shoulder, but don’t worry — the vet confirmed it’s benign. It’s basically her villain origin story scar, and it only makes her cooler. She gets along great with other dogs, as long as they mind their business. Confrontational dogs? Hard pass. She needs an adult-only home with a fenced yard — because children are chaotic and Bootsie deserves peace. In return for your patience and respect, Bootsie will reward you with fierce loyalty, couch cuddles on her terms, and the honor of being chosen by a dog who has standards. Apply at www.rescue330.org — if you think you’re worthy. Bootsie's adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm & flea prevention. Story
Oatey, aka Oat Milk Latte, is a little 11-12 year old lovemuffin mix! This senior charmer is seeking his forever family - all he needs is a neck to nuzzle and someone to scratch behind his sweet, floppy ears. While he is technically a senior, Oatey’s powdered sugar face is the only clue that this little man is 11. He has so much energy and spunk! He loves walks, playing chase with his foster dog brothers, and meeting new friends. He does well on leash and is an absolute pro at meeting new dogs, kids, and strangers. His foster family says they have never seen a dog this skilled at making friends wherever he goes! He greets new dog friends with calm body language, gentle sniffs, and he has charmed canines of every size (and humans too!). Oatey is energetic and playful, but also adores a good cuddle! He follows his foster parents around like a little shadow and just wants to be near them. He loves to luxuriously lounge with his belly out, waiting for rubs. At 17lbs, he is truly the perfect little compact companion. Due to some medical neglect in his past, Oatey had to have all of his teeth removed but he doesn’t seem to care at all. He is happy eating soft food and treats (at a neighborhood barbeque he discovered how much he loves blueberries and watermelon!) and doesn’t let his gums slow him down! Oatey does so well with other dogs that it might be a bit sad for him to be an only-dog, and because of that his ideal home has at least one other dog friend in it. He has done well with all ages of humans too - so his only requirement for his forever home is a place where he will be loved and never given up again. He is so deserving of a playful, loving, and comfortable home to spend his senior years in. Oatey's adoption fee is $150. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm & flea prevention. Apply today at www.rescue330.org. ##2743056##

Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! She loves going for a ride in the car! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
Get off my lawn, unless you are here to feed me! Meet Finn! He is a 6-to-9-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He weighs 20 pounds. He is essentially a tiny, furry retired man living in a world full of people who talk too loud. Finn is not a "just add water" dog. He will not immediately love your cousin. He will not perform tricks for your friends. He is low-key spicy. He requires an estate manager (you) who understands boundaries. 🚫 The House Rules Stranger Danger: Strangers are exhausting. When guests arrive, put Finn in his crate. He will come out on his own terms. Quiet Only: He thrives in a calm house. No wild parties. No chaotic schedules. Dog Friends: He is good with other dogs, and requests they share his low-key vibe. Think sitting on a porch in silence. No frat parties. Feline Roommates: He lives with cats. He enjoys their company. One did beat him up once. Please do not bring this up to him. It is a sore subject. ☀️ The Good Stuff Once you make the cut, Finn is your boy. He bonds deeply. He is a sweet companion. He loves attention from his inner circle. His favorite hobby is property inspection. He loves sniffing around outside. He takes his backyard security job very seriously. If you want a dog to take to crowded breweries, keep scrolling. If you want a tiny roommate to judge the neighborhood with, Finn is your man. If Finn floats your boat, email therescueinn@gmail.com AND complete an adoption application here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Story
Bitsy originally belonged to my niece who abandoned her at my sister's house. My sister cannot have her so I thought she would have fun with my 4 Boston Terriers. I was wrong. Its too many for her. 1 other dog may be fine.Bitsy was used to being the only dog and was never social so she gets very angry when my dogs play with each other and nips at them. She reacts by barking and mauling a stuffed animals when she sees any other kind of animal on tv. She has calmed down a bit since she got here but I can't continue to separate them. But her stress level is still high and she needs a calmer home with 1 small/med or no other dogs & cats.Bitsy uses the push buttons to tell you Outside and Cookie and Hungry..it's so cute...Shes a great companion, loves a bath and will give you so much love& kisses..She's only 5 so lots of time to learn new tricks!! She's very vocal, so she has earned the nickname "Bitsy Backup Singer". I love her. Its just not fair to put each dog away for hours to separate.
