Story
Meet Bobby!Bobby is a scared fellow who seems to do better with women than men. He takes a minute to warm up to you, but once he does he loves being around you. Bobby would be prefer a home with older dog savvy children, and others that can respect his space. He seems to do well with the other dogs here at the shelter but we would reccomend a meet and greet with others in the home. He is only a puppy so he does need some work on his potty training and manners, but seems to be a quick learner. 11 month old intact male. $50 to adopt

Story
This little gal is Mama Mia; a timid, cuddly, and sweet soul. Mama Mia is a 3-year-old, 12 lb. chihuahua. She came to CAWS in February and gave birth to 4 healthy babies. After being a great mom, all of her puppies have been adopted and now it's her turn! Mia gets along fine with most other dogs, but she's not really interested in playing with other pups. She's more interested in being with her person. Mia loves nothing more than cuddling up under warm blankets. We don't know much about her backstory, but even after 6 months in foster care, she is still quite shy and still working on building her confidence. She will need a patient and gentle adoptor to help her feel safe and comfortable. Mia relies on her bark to defend herself from new things and new situations. Big and fast movements terrify her too, so small children are not a good fit for her forever home. Despite her initial timid demeanor, once she trusts you, she'll be yours forever. Mia's loving personality and gentle spirit will make her a wonderful addition to a mature household. She is crate trained and mostly house trained. With a little patience and a lot of love, Mia will be the best friend you've ever had!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Mama Mia, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationOctober 23, 2024, 7:31 am

He is a very happy boy, who bounces with energy in the morning. Diego is only 11 pounds, but holds his own with the 85 pound Bernadoodle in his foster home. He loves to play with dogs, big and small, and would love a play buddy in his forever home too. His boundless energy is infectious, and his antics are sure to brighten up any room. Diego is still very puppy-like with a short attention span and endless curiosity. He loves chewing on a good bone and exploring outdoors. Despite his youthful energy, Diego also has a tender side. He loves to cuddle and will happily curl up by your side after a long day of play. He likes to bark when he gets excited and is still working on his house training. Adopt Diego and let his playful spirit fill your home with love and happiness.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Story
Meet Deno, our delightful senior Chihuahua, who is nothing short of a little bundle of joy! With his sweet disposition, he fits right in with both cats and dogs, and his love for people is boundless. Deno thrives on companionship and adores being by your side, whether it’s snuggling up for a cozy nap or following you around the house, always eager to join your adventures. This little fellow (6 lbs.) has a big heart, and although he has a heart murmur, it doesn’t require any medication at this time. With a bit of medication, he’s living his best life and takes his seizure meds like a complete champ—just pop them in a pill pocket, and he’ll think he’s getting a tasty treat! Deno is not just a loyal companion; he’s also a quiet and gentle soul, who rarely barks. He enjoys his food but would thrive on a controlled feeding routine to keep him healthy and happy. His age, size and health wouldn’t mix well with young kids. His ideal home would be with a single person or couple. If you’re looking for a loving buddy to share your life with, Deno is your perfect match! He’s ready to fill your days with warmth and affection—don’t miss the chance to make him part of your family! Deno has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Deno, please complete an adoption application on our website -(uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Tammy, 801-230-9789 or email Tammygustaveson624@gmail.com.

Story
Introducing the one and only, Dolly Pawton! This pint-sized superstar weighs in at a whopping 5 lbs. of pure love and snuggles! As an older gal, Dolly knows the art of relaxation like a pro and will happily follow you around, claiming her title as your official shadow. Just try to leave the room without her—good luck with that! Dolly’s a little on the skinny side and could use a few extra treats (who can blame her?), so she’s on a mission to gain some fluffiness. But don’t worry, she’s already got the ‘snuggle monster’ badge locked down. Pro She plays well with small dogs, but when it comes to cats, let’s just say she’s still conducting some serious research. Dolly dreams of finding a forever home where she can bask in all the love and feel like the queen she is—because let’s face it, she totally deserves to be the center of your universe! Thanks to her recent dental adventure (sorry, Dolly, we know it’s not a walk in the park), she’ll need soft food and treats—just think of them as her fancy first-class dining experience! And when the sun sets, don’t be surprised if this little lovebug gives you a gentle nudge to remind you it’s snuggle o’clock! Oh, and she’s working on her potty training—she’s a fast learner and is already a potty pad pro! So, if you’re ready to welcome this delightful diva into your life, Dolly Pawton is just waiting to be spoiled rotten! Dolly has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
