Story
Ariel is an 8 year old female Chihuahua mix and she is the sweetest girl. She is bonded with her brother Sebastian, so the two of them are a package deal. Ariel is a tiny little thing, weighing in at 5 pounds. She likes to give kisses and either sit in your lap or right next to you. Her brother Sebastian will then spoon Ariel for a Chihuahua cuddle pile. At night she likes to sleep with her foster mom, under the covers, snuggled up to her. She is crate and house trained and gets along with dogs, kids, and cats. Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. Story
This little gal is Mama Mia; a timid, cuddly, and sweet soul. Mama Mia is a 3-year-old, 12 lb. chihuahua. She came to CAWS in February and gave birth to 4 healthy babies. After being a great mom, all of her puppies have been adopted and now it's her turn! Mia gets along fine with most other dogs, but she's not really interested in playing with other pups. She's more interested in being with her person. Mia loves nothing more than cuddling up under warm blankets. We don't know much about her backstory, but even after 6 months in foster care, she is still quite shy and still working on building her confidence. She will need a patient and gentle adoptor to help her feel safe and comfortable. Mia relies on her bark to defend herself from new things and new situations. Big and fast movements terrify her too, so small children are not a good fit for her forever home. Despite her initial timid demeanor, once she trusts you, she'll be yours forever. Mia's loving personality and gentle spirit will make her a wonderful addition to a mature household. She is crate trained and mostly house trained. With a little patience and a lot of love, Mia will be the best friend you've ever had!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Hi! I'm Grunkle Stan, and all I'm selling is the love and companionship of the sweetest boy. I am a 12lb, 12 year old chiweenie and I'm super versatile. Do you need a couch potato? I'm your man. Do you need a foot warmer? I'm your man. Do you need someone to just to keep you entertained and smiling? That's me! I came from a rough life. I recently had to get one eye removed and I'm mostly blind in my remaining eye. I have a heart murmur and need to take daily heart meds. But despite all of that, I am mobile, curious and and very loving and snuggly. I get around well despite my limitations I get along with every creature big and small. All I really want is some place that has a comfy spot where I can curl up and take naps, a place with good food and treats and someone to love me. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $0! His adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous private donor.
