Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Audrey Faebelle. I am a very sweet and pretty little girl. I am just over a year old and the shelter listed me as a chihuahua, but foster mom says I’m more likely a Rat Terrier mix. Either way, I am a very good girl and real catch of a dog! I currently live with several other dogs and I am great with all of them – big and small! I love to play with my dog friends, but I am also happy to play without them. Toys are my absolute favorite! I’m really hoping my forever family will have a fun toybox for me to dig through! I am a smart little lady, too! I learn things very quickly. I am good in my crate and have had zero potty accidents in the house. I’m also not much of a barker (I’m too busy playing, usually!) so that’s a nice thing about me, too! I am great with humans, though I haven’t met any small ones since I’ve been here. I have a sweet temperament, though, so we think any child over 8 would definitely be fine for me. If you think I could be the girl for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 6:30 pm

Meet Brittney Female DOB: June 06, 2023 Weight: 10 pounds Breed: Chihuahua Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Brittney is an incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate little girl who thrives on human companionship. At 2 years old, she has the perfect balance of youthful energy and adult maturity. Her favorite place is wherever her people are, and she is happiest when she can be close to those she loves. Brittney has a gentle heart and a friendly personality that makes it easy to fall in love with her. She enjoys affection, cuddles, and spending quality time with her family. Whether she's joining you for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or simply following you around the house, Brittney is a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your life. As a Chihuahua Mix, Brittney is likely to be intelligent, loyal, and deeply bonded to her family. Chihuahua mixes are known for their loving personalities and often form strong connections with their people. They thrive when included as part of the family and enjoy companionship, routine, and positive reinforcement. Brittney would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily companionship and interaction Continued training and guidance Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of love and affection A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend and loving shadow. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Like all rescue dogs, Brittney may need time to adjust to a new home and routine. Patience, consistency, and love will help her feel secure and allow her wonderful personality to shine. Brittney will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Brittney blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Brittney will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because of her smaller size, care should be taken around larger animals, rough play, and unsecured outdoor spaces. Brittney is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Meet Fred — better known as Handsome Fred, a tiny Chihuahua with a huge comeback story. When he first arrived in rescue, he was heartbreakingly thin, exhausted, and struggling to survive. A vet visit finally revealed why: Fred has EPI, a condition that makes it hard for him to absorb nutrients. With a simple enzyme powder added to each meal, everything changed. Now a healthy 7½ pounds, Fred has blossomed into the bright, joyful little dog he was always meant to be. Fred is a professional lap dog who believes every seated human is simply a throne waiting for him. His signature move is an almost 180 degree head tilt when he’s curious or confused — a habit from his sick days that he’s kept because, frankly, it’s adorable. Now that he feels good, he’s making up for lost time: squeaky toys, bouncy toys, rolling toys… if it moves, Fred wants to play with it. He loves other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine buddy who can show him the ropes, since he’s still learning boundaries and can play a bit rough. Running humans confuse him, and he may chase and grab a pant leg if he feels left behind, so a calmer home without very young kids is best. Fred is doing great with potty training, still learning overnight routines, and may try to scale a baby gate if it means getting closer to his people. At his core, Fred is all heart — affectionate, silly, loyal, and finally getting to enjoy being a puppy. Now he just needs a family who will love him for the rest of his life Fred has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Fred, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Cathy at 801-598-0771 or email cv-sandy@hotmail.com.

Story
Dino is a 2-year-old Chihuahua with a loving and energetic personality. I adopted him when he was young, and he has been a wonderful companion. He is very intelligent and learns new things quickly. Dino is house-trained and always lets you know when he needs to go outside. He does not have accidents in the house. He is affectionate, enjoys being around people, and loves attention. He has a lot of energy and would do well with someone who can give him regular exercise and playtime. I am looking for a safe, loving, permanent home where he will be treated as a member of the family and receive the care and attention he deserves.
