Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Angelina Ballerina, I’m 6 months young and while I may be a Chihuahua mix, I'm pretty sure I was actually meant to be a tiny human because my favorite place is wherever you are. Whether it's your lap, your feet, or following you from room to room, I just want to be with my people. I’m only 8 pounds and I hear I’ll be around 15 pounds when I’m grown up! I live with three foster dog siblings, and they're nice and all... but if I had to choose between hanging out with dogs or my people, I'm picking my humans every single time. I'm an old soul trapped in a puppy body. Instead of bouncing off the walls, I'm happiest curling up next to you for a cozy nap. Plus, I’m checking off all the puppy boxes already: I’m crate trained, pretty much mastered potty training, and love car rides!  I'm as gentle and loving as they come, and all I want is a family to love me as much as I'll love them. The only thing I'm still working on is my confidence. New people can make me a little nervous, so I'll need a patient family who will cheer me on and help me learn that the world isn't such a scary place. With a little encouragement, I know I'll continue to blossom into the confident little girl I'm meant to be. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will adore you with her whole heart, I think we might just be the perfect match. Story
Hi there, I'm Milo! I'm a 6-month-old, 11-lb Chihuahua. I might be small, but I have a whole lot of love to give. Right now, the world feels a little big and scary to me, so I'm looking for a patient, gentle family to help me grow into the confident pup I know I can be. Once I know I'm safe, my sweet, playful side completely shines! My perfect home will have a doggy sibling for me to hang out with - I LOVE other dogs! Seeing a furry friend gets me so excited and brings out my playful side. Having a kind, confident dog in the home will help show me the ropes and build my bravery. As for the humans in the house, I have a strong preference for women and children. Currently, men make me very scared. But as for kids - yes, please! My current foster home has three young kids, and they are my best friends. I play with them all day, get super excited when they walk into the room, and shower them with kisses. I'm doing great at going potty outside! As long as you give me plenty of frequent opportunities to go out, I've got it down. Speaking of outside, I'd really like a secure yard to hang out in, as I'm a certified sun worshipper. That secure yard is important, because I am not so great on a leash. Because I'm so timid, the outside world beyond my yard is a bit too overwhelming, so I haven't wanted to go for walks yet. We can work on leash training slowly at my own pace. Please don't let my shyness deter you, my foster mom says I will 'definitely come around with time' and thinks I'm a treasure! If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Milo's adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJuly 6, 2026, 7:12 am

Story
Linkin is a sweet, silly little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s been perfect with the dog door since day one—four weeks in and not a single accident, even before he was neutered. He loves to play with both humans and dogs, and fetch is his favorite game. His signature move is grabbing the toy, zooming into another room, then proudly trotting it back to his person. He does great with small dogs but hasn’t been tested with cats or large dogs yet. Linkin is still learning that men can be safe; he’s nervous around them but making steady progress. He’s especially warming up to Garrett, his foster dad, who has been the bringer of meals and treats. Sometimes he’ll growl when he’s unsure who’s approaching, but he relaxes as soon as he realizes it’s Garrett. Linkin is a world class cuddler who wants to be with his person as much as possible. He loves looking out the window and is usually quiet, though he’ll bark or howl at whatever catches his eye. He’s done well in a crate but also sleeps happily on the bed with the other dogs. Like any young pup, he’ll occasionally chew something he shouldn’t, but he listens when corrected. He’s smart, funny, affectionate, and just so much fun to have around. Linkin has been neutered, is current on vaccines has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Linkin, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Tammy at 801-819-5319 or email muddypawsgroom@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Chi Chi, a tiny little Chihuahua with the biggest heart. Though she is blind, she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. She confidently navigates the world around her, loves going on walks, and enjoys stopping to smell absolutely everything along the way. She does great with stairs and adapts wonderfully once she learns a new environment—she just needs a little extra patience and guidance at first. Chi Chi’s absolute favorite thing in the world is snuggling. If she could, she’d happily become your second skin. She adores being close to her people, whether that’s curled up in your lap, tucked into a blanket, or carried around in a baby carrier. As long as she’s with you, she’s perfectly content. She is potty trained and kennel trained and she settles calmly and easily in her kennel. In new environments, she may need reminders and consistency while learning where the bathroom is. She’s generally very quiet but may bark if she senses someone entering her space.uaaf.org Most of all, Chi Chi is incredibly loving and sweet. She truly loves everyone she meets and is ready to bring so much warmth, companionship, and cuddles to her forever home. Chi Chi has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Chi Chi, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
