Dexter is a 4-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (chi-weenie) mix weighing approximately 26 pounds. He came to us when his owner died and he was being kept in a tiny cage. He is timid but has come a long way. He loves to play tug of war and he is very strong. He gets along with the other dogs but has not been cat or kid-tested. He is friendly and lovable when he gets to know you. His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention. Meet Ben - a sweet, loving Chiweenie looking for the right home.Ben is an affectionate, playful little guy who loves cuddling on the couch, burrowing under blankets in bed, and giving lots of kisses. He enjoys car rides, does great at vet visits, and has a fun, loving personality that makes people fall in love with him quickly.Unfortunately, after a lot of thought and research, I've realized that Ben and his littermate brother need to be separated. They have started fighting over toys, food, treats, and attention, which can happen with littermate syndrome as dogs mature. Ben is not aggressive toward people at all, but the tension between the two dogs has continued to grow, and separating them is what's best for both of them.Ben would do best in a home where he can get individual attention and continue building confidence on his own. He does chase cats, so a home without cats would likely be the best fit.This decision has been incredibly difficult because he truly is a loving dog.

Pete and Pedro 😊are bonded “brothers”. Pete is 10 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Pedro is also 10 and weighs 14 pounds. They are both a little overweight but they are the sweetest, most lovable boys you will meet. They came to us when their owner went into assisted living and there was no one to care for them. They adapted very quickly and became little love muffins. They love attention and are very affectionate. They prefer to be the only pets. Red is a 6-year-old male Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 10 pounds. He was confiscated from a large hoarding situation. A Forever Home took 4 of them. They were so scared and unsocialized that we couldn’t even touch them. Once they knew they were loved and cared for they became friendly, happy and lovable. He was the most timid of the group so he needs time to trust. He is now ready for the next episode of his life, being loved, pampered and spoiled. His adoption donation is $300 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please give him the loving home he never had.
