Bolt, his 7 siblings, and his Momma were found living in a drainage ditch in Texas when the pups were just a few weeks old.  A woman fed them for a couple days until she was able to find a rescue to take them in.  The rescue in nursed the pups and Momma back to health for days.  It took a little while for Momma to realize they were finally safe.  Momma and babies were transferred here when they were old enough to do so safety.  They have now been vetted, fixed, and well socialized.  They are ready to find forever, loving families of their own! Momma Dottie is about 12lbs, and we don't know who dad was.  We are guessing the pups will be about 20-30lbs when full grown.  They are all incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and just absolutely perfect. Blue is a great dog. Very loyal. She is 8 years old and needs a calm, loving home. She loves short walks (she gets tired), loves to be loved on, and is sweet. She isn't a fan of small kids or small dogs; I think they scare her. But she has a large-breed companion today. She doesn't like to share food, though. Blue loves to be in the yard, rolling around and getting dirty! She does bark at other dogs walking by, more of a way to say hi. We need to relocate her because my husband has cancer, and with his treatments and 4 kids, it is a lot to handle. Blue has been a lovely addition to this family since she was 9 weeks old.

Looking for a loving home that she can get the attention she deserves.
