Bullet is a Velcro dog that wants to be right in the action. He had a moderate energy level, a short walk seems to be sufficient for him! He’s very quiet and is crate trained as well as potty trained. Bullet would do well in a house with or without dogs and would make a great addition to any family! He’s a gem! ##2076695##

Story
Rolly revels in having his belly rubbed while holding a tennis ball in his mouth! Still very much a puppy at the age of one, he’s 40 pounds of sweetness, friendliness and happiness once he feels comfortable around new people. Supremely loving towards his foster dad, he adores being the object of his attention, wants to be near him at all times, snuggling and cuddling, resting his head on him and sleeping on him. Blessed with the widest and warmest smile, Rolly also loves being outside, going for walks, runs and hikes, playing fetch and engaging with other equally friendly dogs. Passionate about PLAYING, he LOVES tennis balls and toys, particularly small plush toys, is, not surprisingly, motivated by toys and love, and currently knows “sit” and “no.” Never crated, at work on his puppy manners and house-training, Rolly relishes the idea of life in an extremely loving home, preferably with older children, that will polish his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him happily active fur-ever. See more photos of Rolly here!   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls at this time.PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Meet Bentley, a young, sweet, and somewhat shy dog. He`s got a gentle soul that`s just waiting to be nurtured. Bentley thrives best in the company of other dogs, finding comfort and companionship in their presence. He`s not just looking for a home, he`s looking for a friend. A companion who can help him come out of his shell and show the world just how amazing he truly is. Bentley`s journey hasn`t been easy, but his spirit remains unbroken. He`s ready to start a new chapter, to create a new narrative filled with love, trust, and mutual respect. Bentley deserves a chance to be part of a loving family, to experience the joy of a warm bed, and the thrill of a game of fetch in a backyard. Adopt Bentley and give him the opportunity to live the life he deserves.

Story
Peabody's journey began when he was discovered as a stray, wandering the streets alone. After spending five days in "doggie jail," he found his way to the rescue  in search of a loving forever home. This charming pup is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. Described as a good boy with a heart full of love and energy, Peabody thrives in the company of an active family who can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He's adept at navigating the ins and outs of home life, being house, crate, and doggie door trained. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he's known to get along well with female dogs. However, Peabody does have a tendency to engage in fence fights with other dogs in his vicinity, which may require some training and supervision to manage. Despite this challenge, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a delightful companion for the right family. Since October of 2022, Peabody has been patiently waiting for his perfect match at the rescue, eager to find a forever home where he can shower his new family with love and joy. ##1563395##

Story
Are you looking for a sweet, athletic, cute 10-month-old puppy? My name is Dray a 35lb magical mutt (Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix). I’m very chilled for a puppy and really enjoy hanging out with my human. I’m doing awesome with potty training (the doggie door helps a lot) and I’m doing well on leash.  I don’t mind being in the kennel but would rather have free range of the house while your home. I get along well with other dogs and like playing with kids. I’ll enjoy doing all the fun outdoorsy stuff Colorado has to offer once I get a little older (hikes, walks, camping and hanging out).  I would like a fenced back yard and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I wouldn’t mind being the only puppy in the house either. If you think we are a good match, please apply today and in case I didn’t mention it earlier………….I’m a really good looking puppy! https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationy!June 12, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Cissy, a curious, energetic, 10-month old, 25lb magical mutt (Australian Cattle Dog mix) with an awesome personality. I will have you laughing non-stop with my playful demeanor. I’m an active, incredible smart puppy but can also spend some time chilling on the back yard deck or next to the couch watching most sporting events.  I get along well with all dogs, big or small and I love playing with kids. I will be a great hiking buddy and really enjoy playing fetch. I’m crate and doggie door trained. I’m doing great on potty training and love going on walks and doing well on leash.  I would like a fenced back yard to keep me engaged and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I don’t mind getting all the attention myself either. If you think you might be a good match for all my awesomeness hit the adoption link to get the ball rolling. https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationJune 12, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Bubba deserves THE BEST home!   He has been waiting for a very long time.   He is a total wiggle body who loves other dogs of all ages and sizes.  He can be timid  in new situations and meeting new people but with each and every new adventure he gains more confidence.    Bubba would love a home with another confident dog to show him the ropes and will need a home with a yard.  His ideal person/family will have lots of patience. He was abused by someone attempting to put a leash on him so he takes a few days to trust his new people.   In his foster home he is a happy go lucky boy who completely trusts his foster mom and you would never know he is afraid of new people.  Foster mom can always put a leash on him and he acts like a very well adjusted dog.  His wish is to have a family where he can get more attention and love who have the patience to watch him blossom into the perfect companion.       To meet him fill out an application today:  www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoption-application June 12, 2024, 2:12 pm
