Story
Meet Nelson! This Collie mix is impossible to miss with his striking blue eyes and happy-go-lucky personality. After making the journey from a shelter in Kansas, Nelson is quickly learning that the good life is pretty great. Nelson is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. He's a total rockstar on leash and loves getting out to explore and meet new people. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a mountain hike, or a trip to your favorite brewery patio, this boy is happy just being part of the fun. He's also doing great with potty training and is making progress with crate training. He sleeps in his crate overnight like a champ, though he'd definitely prefer to be wherever his people are. Super smart, goofy, and incredibly sweet, Nelson is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing while stealing your heart at the same time. He's at the perfect age to continue learning, growing, and becoming your very best friend. All he needs now is a forever family ready to show him that life's greatest adventures are the ones shared together. Could Nelson be your new adventure buddy? ##2771090##

Story
Sadie, her 7 siblings, and her Momma were found living in a drainage ditch in Texas when the pups were just a few weeks old.  A woman fed them for a couple days until she was able to find a rescue to take them in.  The rescue in nursed the pups and Momma back to health for days.  It took a little while for Momma to realize they were finally safe.  Momma and babies were transferred here when they were old enough to do so safety.  They have now been vetted, fixed, and well socialized.  They are ready to find forever, loving families of their own! Momma Dottie is about 12lbs, and we don't know who dad was.  We are guessing the pups will be about 20-30lbs when full grown.  They are all incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and just absolutely perfect. &#226&#156&#168 Meet Erica — Your Ride-or-Die Adventure Girl! &#226&#156&#168 If you’re looking for a best friend, shadow, and lifelong sidekick, Erica is that girl. Erica is a 4.5-5 Month old with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s loyal, smart, and spunky, the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are — hiking trails, weekend adventures, or just following you from room to room like your built-in bestie.  Erica in a nutshell: A true ride-or-die companion Smart, eager, and excellent adventure material Great with dogs and people Best with older kids or kids who understand big-dog energy Already crate trained & dog-door trained (yes, already!) Would love a canine buddy to pal around with Important to know: Erica is not an apartment dog — she’s a bit of a talker when left alone and prefers a home where she has space, stimulation, and ideally another dog for company.March 9, 2026, 5:54 pm

Story
Angle is a 4.5 Year Old Great Dane/Smooth Coated Collie Mix. She loves playing with other dogs and ignores cats, unless they want to play. She loves her people and even though she loves playing with other dogs, she really wants her human all to herself. She is also laid back and enjoys a good cuddle and chill on the couch while catching up on some TV. Angle is crate trained, enjoys toys and completely untrustworthy on free roam with high interest items (this includes expensive items; we don’t know how she knows – but she does!) If you think you are Angle's forever home, please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .

Story
River is a very special boy! He was a foster fail 2 years ago, when he was six months old. He is playful, goofy, and very loving, but also quite skittish and is likely a one-person dog.River has a bite history on people and dogs. Most of his bites have only resulted in bruising and occur in high stress environments where he struggled to regulate back to calm. He gets along excellently and is very submissive to our smaller and older border collie. We do not allow him to interact with any other dogs, though I believe that with time and structured introductions he would do well.We are rehoming River because after 2 years, he still has not warmed up to my husband and can be a challenge in our home.River needs medication daily to remain calm and needs someone who has a yard (walks are overstimulating) and someone who can commit to training him to improve calm behaviors and develop confidence. He also has a history of back pain and is touch-sensitive. He has improved with age.

Story
Kitsune, Kit, Kitsue, Mr, was rescued from Humane Colorado back in early 2020. He is 7 years old, is still incredibly active, has no health issues, immaculate teeth, and is incredibly loyal. His best traits: ● Big personality ● Never destroys things ● Can be left alone all day ● Will never leave your side ● Great hiker, camper, roadtripper ● Generally fine with other dogs Why I need to rehome him: ● He does not like certain people and has nipped them (specifically men) ● He does not like children, we have a baby on the way ● He is not good with groups Typical traits for a heeler, but Kitsue gets very stressed in certain situations. Kitsue would love a single or couple that are lowkey at home but active outdoors and willing to take the time to earn his trust.
