Story
Are you looking for a sweet, athletic, cute 10-month-old puppy? My name is Dray a 25lb magical mutt (Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix). I’m very chilled for a puppy and really enjoy hanging out with my human. I’m doing awesome with potty training (the doggie door helps a lot) and I’m doing well on leash.  I don’t mind being in the kennel but would rather have free range of the house while your home. I get along well with other dogs and like playing with kids. I’ll enjoy doing all the fun outdoorsy stuff Colorado has to offer once I get a little older (hikes, walks, camping and hanging out).  I would like a fenced back yard and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I wouldn’t mind being the only puppy in the house either. If you think we are a good match, please apply today and in case I didn’t mention it earlier………….I’m a really good looking puppy! https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationy!April 26, 2024, 10:50 am

Story
Hello, my name is Cissy, a curious, energetic, 10-month old, 25lb magical mutt (Australian Cattle Dog mix) with an awesome personality. I will have you laughing non-stop with my playful demeanor. I’m an active, incredible smart puppy but can also spend some time chilling on the back yard deck or next to the couch watching most sporting events.  I get along well with all dogs, big or small and I love playing with kids. I will be a great hiking buddy and really enjoy playing fetch. I’m crate and doggie door trained. I’m doing great on potty training and love going on walks and doing well on leash.  I would like a fenced back yard to keep me engaged and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I don’t mind getting all the attention myself either. If you think you might be a good match for all my awesomeness hit the adoption link to get the ball rolling. https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationApril 26, 2024, 10:50 am

Bubba deserves THE BEST home!   He has been waiting for a very long time.   He is a total wiggle body who loves other dogs of all ages and sizes.  He can be timid  in new situations and meeting new people but with each and every new adventure he gains more confidence.    Bubba would love a home with another confident dog to show him the ropes and will need a home with a yard.  His ideal person/family will have lots of patience. He was abused by someone attempting to put a leash on him so he takes a few days to trust his new people.   In his foster home he is a happy go lucky boy who completely trusts his foster mom and you would never know he is afraid of new people.  Foster mom can always put a leash on him and he acts like a very well adjusted dog.  His wish is to have a family where he can get more attention and love who have the patience to watch him blossom into the perfect companion.       To meet him fill out an application today:  www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoption-application April 26, 2024, 10:50 am

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Damon! I'm a 8 mont old heeler mix and can't wait to meet you! My foster mom says I am the perfect medium size, I am already potty trained so I take a lot of the stress out of a new dog but still with the puppy energy and playfulness and lots to learn. I love everyone, dogs and people alike, and I believe everyone is here to see me. I am happy to be your greeter and your doorbell by letting you know someone is outside- I must protect this house but also let people know I am here and they can come say hi and make a new friend. I love to play with my foster siblings, both dogs and people. I love car rides and don't understand why my foster siblings leave me during the day when I take them to school. When they are at school I play with my foster dog friends or lay on my bed or in my kennel while my foster mom works. I snuggle with my foster mom, and my foster brother is really good at letting me love him.  Snuggles are my favorite way to spend the evening to wind down. I love to go on walks, we are working on my leash skills, and soon, I will be ready to explore more of what Colorado has to offer once my forever family comes along. I can't wait to meet you! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1819785##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Calling all lovers of large dogs! Say hello to Emory, a Heinz 57 mix who is 100% awesome and ready to steal your heart. This mellow and super smart lady weighs 66lbs and is an amazing young adult. Emory is a social butterfly, getting along great with kids and other pups. While she hasn't been tested with cats, her foster home believes she would do well with them too. She's already mastered the art of being a well-mannered houseguest—house trained, crate trained, and knowledgeable in basic commands like sit, stay, and come. With Emory, you get the best of both worlds. She has the perfect balance of energy for play and is incredibly well behaved indoors. You won't have to worry about her chewing on things she shouldn't. Taking her for walks is an absolute pleasure, as she does exceptionally well on a leash, even when passing other dogs, humans, and even horses. At about 2 years old, Emory is at the prime of her life, and she's up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her forever home. If you're searching for a large lap dog with a lot of love to offer, Emory is the perfect match for you! Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! I'm delighted to meet you! My name is Ruxpin, and I’m a sweet, fun-loving 1-year-old cattle dog mix. Much like my namesake, I've got a gorgeous tan color, and I'm so soft people love to hug me! I'm about as sweet as them come with a very fun personality! I’m a well-mannered boy, and I take cues really well from the people and dogs around me. I do have typical 1-year-old dog energy, but nothing that playtime or a few walks won’t take care of! I do want to play with other dogs, but I have shown a lot of respect for the dogs around me, and I am a pretty appropriate dog when meeting others. All I want in this world is to please my people, and I'll be a quick study with food motivation and a desire to impress! I have basic leash manners and make for a really enjoyable walk partner. At the end of the day, I want to cuddle up with my own humans; I truly love people and enjoy spending time with them! In previous foster homes, I was considered a real cuddlebug, and that is something I display at all times as well. I would thrive in a home with all kinds of people, big and small; I love all other dogs but would LOVE a friend to play with! I will need a yard to play in or someone who can take me on a long walk or two a day. I'm an energetic partner in crime looking for his forever home!  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1973843##

Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1727261##

Hamish was abandoned at a large commercial construction site by the husband of one of our volunteers. Hamish has the typical high energy of his breed. He is very loving and seeks affection. He's been great with every dog he has met and loves to play with them all. He is a little timid with new people but warms up quickly. He's a goofy boy, nicknamed Noodle because his body goes limp and wiggly when he gets petted! He keeps his kennel clean and runs right in for treats!

Hi, I'm Chillon! I'm young, sweet, and full of life. I love to play, run around, and show off my energetic side. But don't let my goofiness fool you, I'm also a sweetheart. I'm always ready to give and receive love. I'm friendly to everyone I meet and I love making new friends. My favorite things in the world are treats and pets from my human friends. But beware, I'm a bit of a door darter, always ready for a new adventure. I can't wait to find a forever home where I can share my love and energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving, friendly, and sweet companion, then I'm your dog!April 28, 2024, 11:15 pm
