Story
Are you looking for a sweet, athletic, cute 10-month-old puppy? My name is Dray a 35lb magical mutt (Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix). I’m very chilled for a puppy and really enjoy hanging out with my human. I’m doing awesome with potty training (the doggie door helps a lot) and I’m doing well on leash.  I don’t mind being in the kennel but would rather have free range of the house while your home. I get along well with other dogs and like playing with kids. I’ll enjoy doing all the fun outdoorsy stuff Colorado has to offer once I get a little older (hikes, walks, camping and hanging out).  I would like a fenced back yard and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I wouldn’t mind being the only puppy in the house either. If you think we are a good match, please apply today and in case I didn’t mention it earlier………….I’m a really good looking puppy! https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationy!July 14, 2024, 9:34 am

Story
Bubba deserves THE BEST home!   He has been waiting for a very long time.   He is a total wiggle body who loves other dogs of all ages and sizes.  He can be timid  in new situations and meeting new people but with each and every new adventure he gains more confidence.    Bubba would love a home with another confident dog to show him the ropes and will need a home with a yard.  His ideal person/family will have lots of patience. He was abused by someone attempting to put a leash on him so he takes a few days to trust his new people.   In his foster home he is a happy go lucky boy who completely trusts his foster mom and you would never know he is afraid of new people.  Foster mom can always put a leash on him and he acts like a very well adjusted dog.  His wish is to have a family where he can get more attention and love who have the patience to watch him blossom into the perfect companion.       To meet him fill out an application today:  www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoption-application July 14, 2024, 9:34 am

Story
Hello, my name is Cissy, a curious, energetic, 10-month old, 25lb magical mutt (Australian Cattle Dog mix) with an awesome personality. I will have you laughing non-stop with my playful demeanor. I’m an active, incredible smart puppy but can also spend some time chilling on the back yard deck or next to the couch watching most sporting events.  I get along well with all dogs, big or small and I love playing with kids. I will be a great hiking buddy and really enjoy playing fetch. I’m crate and doggie door trained. I’m doing great on potty training and love going on walks and doing well on leash.  I would like a fenced back yard to keep me engaged and another dog to play with would be a huge bonus, but I don’t mind getting all the attention myself either. If you think you might be a good match for all my awesomeness hit the adoption link to get the ball rolling. https://www.pawsonthegroundco.org/adoptionapplicationJuly 14, 2024, 9:34 am

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Damon! I'm a 10 month old heeler mix, and I can't wait to meet you! My foster mom says I am the perfect medium size, I am already potty trained, so I take a lot of the stress out of a new dog but still with the puppy energy and playfulness and lots to learn. I love everyone, dogs and people alike, and I believe everyone is here to see me. I am happy to be your greeter and your doorbell by letting you know someone is outside- I must protect this house and let people know I am here, so they can come to say hi and make a new friend. I love to play with my foster siblings, both dogs and people. I love car rides and don't understand why my foster siblings leave me during the day when I take them to school. When they are at school, I play with my foster dog friends, lie on my bed, or lie in my kennel while my foster mom works. I snuggle with my foster mom, and my foster brother is really good at letting me love him. Snuggles are my favorite way to spend the evening to wind down. I love to go on walks, and we are working on my leash skills. Soon, I will be ready to explore more of what Colorado has to offer once my forever family comes along. I'm up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and ready to meet you!  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1819785##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Meet Marsha! Marsha is a 5-month-old, 27-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix, and she can't wait to meet you! She is a spunky little goofball looking for a playmate or active family to keep her on the move. She does great in her kennel, knows the word sit, and has almost perfected lay down. Marsha is house-trained and lets herself out through the doggie door or sits at the door if it's closed.  Marsha is currently living with two young children and three other dogs. She would fit best with a family that had another active dog and/or a family that includes her in their everyday life. She is a funny little pup! She will also snuggle up to her people when ready to rest. Marsha is a little comedian who chases her tail and the vacuum; it's hysterical! She also enjoys playing in the water and soaking when she's taking a bath. Marsha is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. If she sounds like the perfect addition to your current situation, please reach out to meet her! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2014688##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! CAN YOU HANDLE THE CUTENESS???!!! Toby might just be one of the best puppies EVER!  Smart, sweet, social and eager to please, this amazing boy literally loves EVERYONE!!!  Wonderful with dogs and people alike, this boy will make a wonderful addition to almost any home! Toby had the horrible misfortune of being placed on the euthanasia list of a urban Texas shelter only because he was found as a stray with a broken leg.  Now, having been rescued and fully recovered (he was casted for 8 weeks and has since healed beautifully), Toby is now good as new!  Are you the family ready to provide Toby with a new life here in wonderful Colorado? Toby is an extremely handsome almost 6mo old Cattle Dog Mix.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1992740##

Story
Meet Frost! This handsome guy is ready for his new forever home! Frost is a shy and timid guy looking for that perfect someone to give him the chance he deserves! Frost will need a patient home that will go at his pace until he is comfortable. Frost has history of some destruction and escaping, so he will need plenty of exercise, mental enrichment and companionship to keep him as happy and healthy as can be! He also has history of chasing cats, so he will need a home with no cats and possibly no other small animals. Please bring any resident dogs to meet him prior to adoption. Due to his initial fear, we highly recommend any children in the home to be at least 10+ years old. Please bring the whole family to meet with him prior to adoption. He is ready to meet you!July 15, 2024, 9:24 pm

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi! I am Loslin, and my foster mom says I am a dream puppy; honestly, I am the easiest puppy they have fostered. I have a funny hop when I get my toys to go to the spot where I like to play. I play by myself sometimes and try to keep myself occupied. My foster mom says my eyes just lock in, and she feels she can tell what I’m thinking or feeling. I am also getting this potty training thing down, and I sleep through the night—rockstar status if you ask me! I love to snuggle, too, and I can’t wait to explore this state with you and make memories with my forever family!
