Story
Bolt, his 7 siblings, and his Momma were found living in a drainage ditch in Texas when the pups were just a few weeks old.  A woman fed them for a couple days until she was able to find a rescue to take them in.  The rescue in nursed the pups and Momma back to health for days.  It took a little while for Momma to realize they were finally safe.  Momma and babies were transferred here when they were old enough to do so safety.  They have now been vetted, fixed, and well socialized.  They are ready to find forever, loving families of their own! Momma Dottie is about 12lbs, and we don't know who dad was.  We are guessing the pups will be about 20-30lbs when full grown.  They are all incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and just absolutely perfect. Story
Meet Ronda! Ronda is a sweet and playful girl who may be a little shy at first—but give her a few days, and she’ll blossom into your loyal, loving companion. Once she feels comfortable, her fun personality shines through, and she’ll quickly become your new best friend. This active pup loves to run and play, and she’s currently learning how to play fetch. She sometimes gets so excited that she forgets to bring the toy back—but that just adds to her charm! Ronda is adjusting beautifully to life outside the shelter and continues to make great progress every day. She is mostly potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. If she can’t make it in time, she will use potty pads. Because she gets so excited during outdoor time, she may need a gentle reminder that it’s also potty time. Walks can still feel a little scary for Ronda, but with patience, encouragement, and consistency, she’s learning they can be enjoyable. Ronda is believed to be a Kelpie mix, possibly with a bit of Chihuahua, and is on the smaller side. Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain—she’s full of love and ready to bond deeply with her forever family. Ronda would do best in a home without young children. She prefers a calm environment and would thrive either as an only dog or with one or two mellow canine companions, with slow introductions. She is still learning about cats but responds well to guidance and will leave them alone when told. If you’re looking for a playful, devoted companion who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, Ronda could be the perfect match. Come meet her at an adoption event—she just might steal your heart! ##2461439##

Story
Meet Ranger, the sweetest, most cuddliest little boy you could ever want!  Ranger warms up fast and will snuggle firmly against you when he isn't following you from room to room like the adorable velcro-dog that he is. He loves and gets along great with the two resident dogs he has been staying with (one puppy and one senior). He occasionally needs a proper introduction to new dogs, but has also been completely friendly afterwards. He absolutely loves going on walks and has recently learned the joys of a good mountain hike. While he is excited and likes to walk up front, he generally does not pull (just for squirrels, bunnies, and, oddly enough, for sewer grates ). After a nice walk or hike, Ranger will happily sleep by your feet as you work or if you want to enjoy a refreshing beverage at your local brewery. He just wants to be with you no matter what the activity.  While he is always happy to wrestle, play, and go on adventures, Ranger shines as a calm family dog who just wants to be wherever his people are. Thriving and soaking up all the love you can give. Ranger is completely potty and doggy-door trained. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night long, and oftentimes he puts himself to bed if he thinks you are staying up too late. Although, if you were interested in a nightly cuddle-buddy, Ranger would happily oblige! While he is great in his crate, he has also been proven trustworthy left out and about. If you are ready to open your heart to a great dog, Ranger is ready to meet you and give you all of his!   ##2722686##

Story
Meet Chelsea! If you are looking for a lovable, treat-motivated companion who is eager to please, look no further. Chelsea is a resilient girl who is soaking up everything the "good life" has to offer. I am the definition of a "work in progress" in the best way possible! I’ve already mastered "sit" and am currently working hard on "down" and "come." While everything in the neighborhood is still a bit new and sparkly to me, I am becoming braver every day. I’m learning fast! I just had my first zero-accident day, and I’m very proud of myself. I prefer to be near my people. If my crate is in the bedroom, I settle in beautifully for a full 8 hours of sleep. I might give a tiny whimper for a minute at bedtime, but once I have my "night-night treat," I’m a mellow girl until my 6:00 AM potty break. I am VERY treat-motivated. I’m currently (still) learning that kitchen counters aren't for me and that I don’t need to eat my dinner in record time. On walks, I’m a "stop and smell the roses" kind of girl. I can be a little timid when I see other dogs or loud bikes, but my foster mom says I’m very brave—if you show me a treat, I can politely sit and watch them pass by or walk right on through. I haven't met cats or young children yet, but I absolutely adore the young adults in my foster home. My perfect family would be:  Patient & Loving: Someone ready to continue my leash and potty training. Active: I have good energy and love several long walks a day followed by a deep snuggle. A "People" Person: I love being with my humans. While I’m working on my independence, I’d love a home where I’m not alone for long stretches right away. I promise to reward your time and training with a lifetime of snuggles and loyalty. I’m just a sweet girl looking for someone to show me the ropes and provide some clear boundaries!  ##2627770##
